The Washington Post is a leftist propaganda source and not a reliable news outlet, but its claim here is not unbelievable in light of Trump’s foolish overtures to Qatar, insistence on negotiating with the Islamic Republic of Iran, dropping of the requirement of recognition of Israel for a nuclear deal with Saudi Arabia. If the story is false, who is planting these false stories? And if it’s true, why has Trump turned on Israel? He certainly seems to have forgotten and reversed his earlier statements regarding Qatar’s support for jihad terror, as well as about Islam’s aggression and supremacism.

In a video posted on social media, Netanyahu said that although Israel was deploying “massive force to take control of all of the Gaza Strip … we cannot reach a point of starvation, for practical and diplomatic reasons.”

In Israel, Netanyahu’s sharp pivot followed new public and behind-the-scenes pressure from the Trump administration. During a tour of Persian Gulf nations last week, Trump said that “a lot of people are starving” in Gaza. Israel was excluded from the trip, during which Trump visited Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.

However, according to an official speaking to Ynet, the White House denied the report that Trump would abandon Israel.
“That is a lie. The idea that we would abandon Israel is absurd,” the official said.
US National Security Council spokesperson James Hewitt told Ynet after the report that “Israel has never had a better friend in history than President Trump. Yeah, I normally consider WaPo 🧻, but in this case, I’m inclined to agree. Reason Israel has been quiet is that it knows that the alternative in DC – the Dems – are even worse. If I were them, I’d have the staff working w/ them – Ron Dermer, Caroline Glick, et al working on the people I expect to succeed Trump – be it Vance, Rubio, DeSantis or anyone else. Chances are they’d be less likely to be overly enamored by rogue states like Qatar, Turkey or Iran
I’m still a GOP voter, but I’m cooling off on Trump. His endorsements will no longer be a factor in who I vote for in GOP primaries

Did they miss the childhood lesson that when you lie you become a known liar and nobody believes you anymore. I am not sure either one of those groups will ever recover. I will say it again; Trump and his administration absolutely do not understand Islam. It is a treacherous ideology. This has nothing to do with Muslim people. I have great Muslim friends who like others in their respective religions do not live it as the doctrine professes, because they do not know. He needs to get a person like Ayaan Hirsi Ali to come and do workshops and explain the insight.
He is not thinking straight as regards his recent moves and has already lost, and will lose more, supporters if he does not watch his step and wake up fast!!!! And Witkoff?????? A waste in his position- a wrong fit, if you can even use the word fit. He does not fit where he is.
