UK: Muslim charged with cruelty and fraud after 37 dogs found dead at ‘Save a Paw UK’ rescue centre

Islam hates dogs. Turkey has recently also been killing dogs in large numbers.

A dog rescue centre owner appeared in court today charged with four offences of animal cruelty and fraud after the remains of 37 dead dogs were found at his premises.

Police, RSPCA officers and council staff raided Save A Paw UK in Crays Hill, Essex, on Tuesday following concerns about ‘missing’ pets at the organisation run from Oaveed Rahman’s home.

Southend Magistrates Court heard that Rahman, 25, who gave his first name as Obi, took in animals from owners who could no longer keep them, with the promise of rehoming them for a fee.

He is charged with one count of causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal between November 1, 2024, and May 14, 2025, by a failure to act, in that he failed to keep alive 37 dogs, and he knew or ought to have known the effects or likely effects.

It was also alleged that between December 25, 2024, and May 1, 2025, he falsely represented to a woman that he was running a charitable organisation involved in the rehoming of dogs intending to cause her a loss or a risk of a loss.

A second fraud charge, relating to a period between November 28, 2024, and May 14, 2025, started he fraudulently represented that he had rehomed a dog, intending to cause an individual a loss or a risk of a loss.

The third fraud charge was that between January 31 and May 14, 2025, Rahman fraudulently represented that he had rehomed another dog causing an individual a loss or a risk of loss.

Rahman, dressed in a grey tracksuit, denied all four charges.

Prosecutor Rebecca Debenham said: ‘He set up and represented as a charity Save a Paw UK offering services to those who had dogs and wanted the dogs to be rehomed.

‘He took payments on the understanding he would rehome them, but unfortunately that was not the case.

‘At Mr Rahman’s home, where police and partners attended, the bodies of 37 dogs were found with other dogs living in his garden.’ …

  1. Anyone deliberately cruel to dogs will be cruel to human beings. Islam has a sterling record of consistency here.

    • Somewhat related: they teach their kids how to practice halal slaughter on animals, be it goats, sheep,…. That way, they get to do it on humans w/ ease

      Any animal shelter or animal rights group hiring muslims is out of their freaking minds: they might as well just send them directly to pounds or slaughterhouses

      • I gave a lift to a friendly Muslim tailor near here, in Italy. When he realised that one of my dogs was curled up under the seat he was very uneasy. To express himself he said nervously, “Queen Elizabeth liked dogs didn’t she ?”, without a smile.

    • Muslims are a security risk when present in critical infrastructure like postoffices, let alone animal shelters, city councils, etc. Deport is the keyword here. They are incompatible with any non-Muslim host-country foolish enough to import and accommodate it. A Trojan horse that in the end will kill the host country and its citizens.

    • If you want to see how decent a society is, look at how they treat the animals around them.

      Islamic societies are certainly a failure by that measure.

    • The dead dogs may finally cause a ripple amongst the average Englishman. People they can do without but dogs are considered much more valuable. Honestly, since Muhammad had such a phobia of dogs that passed dna level genetically to every Muslim born, allegedly, … a dog charity seems rather implausible. Maybe a way to make tax free money but not for any love of animals. An honor killing may not be worth prison but cruelty to an animal is 5 years per dog prison time.

  4. non-Muslims should set up a charity, (Save a Mumin) and help as many as possible into shipping containers, for a fee we will keep them and make Britain safe again.

  6. Doubtless he was very popular at his mosque with his double whammy tales of taking money and the details of torturing and slaughtering those dogs. As everyone one here says, ignoring what islam actually is the root of much real danger wherever muslims are found.

    • They also hate paintings or any other depiction of living animals or people. Their Blue Mosque copycat of the incredible Sophia Hagia has nothing but blue and white tiles. When they took over Constantinople, they tried to hack away all the gorgeous mosaics of people and turned the building into a barn. Made the steps into a ramp for the animals.

      I had my Golden Retriever’s shedded hair spun into yarn and then knittted into a small scarf. I wore it into the Blue Mosque since women have to cover their heads!

  9. Of course, Muslims are bound to hate dogs. Dogs are generally such friendly, noble and loving animals, so Muslims who love evil and hate anyone or anything good are bound to hate them. Give me a dog any day over a Muslim. They should be banned from going anywhere near dogs.

    • Tim, I have nightmares on a regular basis (lupus causes them) and some of the worst involve mozlums.
      One recent one included i elmi. Arrrgggh.
      If I dream about dogs….no prob.
      And my daughter’s dog is so smart. If in a class, she’d understand so much more than any mozlum if the teacher was just speaking .about anything.

      • Sorry to hear about your nightmares, somehistory. I looked information about lupus the other day. It sounds like a horrible disease. I have to say that I have never had a nightmare about Muslims. I am glad about that.

    • Thanks Wellington. I am sorry about your loss and your grief over the loss of your dog. Recently on the tv news here in Australia I thought that I heard that 60 per cent of dog owners said that their closest relationship was with their dog. I googled it and it wasn’t quite true. But there has been a survey of 30 thousand people globally who owns a pet and 65 per cent said they would prefer to de-stress with their dog or cat, whereas 37 percent chose their partner, 24 per cent family, 22 percent children and 21 per cent friend. Somehistory, I hope your dog is going well. I often go for walk at a local dog park and the people there really love their dogs.

  13. How can you not respect a religion, and I use that term loosely, that puts children in ovens, kills their own daughters, beats their own wifes, beheads anyone and kills pets.

  14. I will never understand why Western cultures let these muslims invade their countries. They are just the scum of mankind. Personally if one of them hurt one of my dogs they will never find their bodies. I will probably be removed from putting up comments, but I believe in speaking the truth. They not only kill dog’s, they will rape children, beat their wives, kill their own children calling it an “honor” killing. Muslims bring chaos and violence where ever they invade. England, Ireland and Europe is no more.

  15. Muhammad found a dog disgusting, but he did not ever find out marrying a 6-year-old pre-pubescent girl is even more disgusting and still even today Muslims justify it, is completely insane. How can someone find a dog disgusting but not a 53-year-old marrying and raping a minor?

    Sometimes well meaning people get overwhelmed trying to help too many animals, leading to situations that are not ideal or are even harmful for animals, and those running the centers are too embarrassed to ask for help. This is sad, but it does happen.

    But that does *not* seem to be what happened here–and there have been other cases of Muslims killing animals, espcially dogs. I imagine that Oaveed Rahman was counting on the naivite of Britons, and that they would not realize what he was doing to these poor dogs.

  17. Let’s face it: Mooslimes have zero saving graces. I would rather the County I live in should have a thousand dogs than a single Mooslime.
