Trump Puts Terrorist on Commission for Religious Liberty

After inviting a Hizbollah leader to his inauguration, appointing Hamas/Muslim Brotherhood leaders to be the Ambassador to Kuwait and the U.S. Attorney for Los Angeles, and cutting deals with the leading supporters of global terrorism – Qatar and Saudi Arabia – most of us thought things could not get worse in the Trump Administration.

Alas, we were wrong.

It appears key people inside the Trump Administration are intentionally bringing terrorists into the White House to undermine U.S. national security.

Friday evening – May 16th – the Trump Administration announced the new names for the advisory board for the Commission on Religious Liberty.  Included among the names of individuals to serve on the “Advisory Board of Lay Leaders” were Ismail Royer and Shaykh Hamza Yusuf.

Hamza Yusuf is an Islamic scholar, a Hamas/Muslim Brotherhood leader, and a supporter of Al Qaeda & Hamas terrorists.

Randall Todd “Ismail” Royer is a terrorist.  A real terrorist.

As an FBI agent, my squad at the Washington Field Office worked a case which came to be known as the “Virginia Jihad Network” which included a group of jihadis/Islamic terrorists who trained with paintball guns in preparation for going overseas to fight “Holy War” for the Islamic cause.

Ismail Royer played a prominent roll in the case.

In fact, Royer was sentenced to 20 years in prison for his roll in this case.  Here are some of the highlights from the Statement of Facts:

* Royer assisted (co-conspirators) in gaining entry to a jihad camp run by (designated Foreign Terrorist Organization) Lashkar-e-Taiba (LET).

* In the mid 1990’s Royer went to Bosnia to fight with his brother muslims against non-muslim forces. He completed a 6-week jihadi training and fought with the mujahadeen in battles.

* He trained at LET jihadi camps, helped LET in a variety of ways off the battlefield, and supported their cause.

* Royer participated in firing on Indian positions in Kashmir.

* When Royer returned to the United States he continued to take actions to help the designated Foreign Terrorist Organization Lashkar-e-Taiba, including recruiting others to fight for them.

In the April 9, 2004 Department of Justice press release regarding Royer’s sentencing, U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft stated, “Today’s sentences demonstrate the severe penalties for aiding terrorist causes…We will not allow terrorist groups to exploit America’s freedoms to pursue their deadly goals.”

Royer pled guilty to lesser charges, but “admitted to aiding and abetting co-defendants Masoud Khan, Yong Ki Kwon, Muhammed Aatique and Khwaja Mahmoud Hasan in gaining entry to a terrorist training camp in Pakistan operated by Lashkar-e-Taiba.”

Royer was sentenced to 20 years in prison and ended up serving the majority of that time.

Its worth noting, Royer worked for U.S. Hamas doing business as the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR).

This is the guy the Trump Administration appointed to sit on the advisory board for the U.S. Commission on Religious Liberty.

  1. Could it be that there are moles in the Trump admininistration who are deliberately and knowingly appointing these monsters? The imam initially chosen to deliver a benediction at the inauguration was outed and replaced at the last minute, but we should be asking why and how he was selected in the first place. I’ll do what I can to notify others in government and polics who would – or should be – concerned about this, but will someone please post this article, or a summary of same, on Truth Social?

    • Your surmise about moles seems, not just plausible, but likely. One person…Trump… can’t be everywhere, but it seems mozlums are.

      Yes, always follow the thread and bring things into full view for all to see. Problem is the person holding the thread is never named and held accountable. In this case who was behind selecting and appointing these Muslim jihadists?

    Can a flood – an avalanche – of letters pour into the Oval Office deploring the appeasement of Islam?

    Warning against Islamic infiltration and subversion?

    There should be no Muslims.. anywhere.. in any US institution.

    As for religous liberty…

    Can somebody please firmly and repeatedly remind every single member of Congress.. and the President himself… that there is such a thing as the law of apostasy in Islam. It has not been rescinded.

    It hangs over the head of every single person who DARES to leave Islam.

    If someone leaves Islam they are supposed to be killed.

    And very often they are.

    In Uganda, right now, apostates from Islam have been killed… and the people who persuaded them to leave Islam, and become Christians, have ALSO been killed…by devout Muslims carrying out the apostasy law.

    NO professing, practising Muslim should, therefore, be part of ANY body or organisation that professes to be about promoting religious liberty!!

    Rather: known and proven publicly-declared apostates from Islam, people such as Ayaan Hirsi Ali or Wafa Sultan – and there are numerous others – some now atheists, some who have chosen other faiths such as Christianity – should be appointed to the Commission on Religious Liberty.

    • Yes, dda, the absurdity of appointing ANY Muslim to such a commission is obvious to those who are aware of the intrinsic malevolence and religious intolerance of Islam, but how can we apprise, let alone convince, those involved in the planning and formation of such commissions of any of this? Besides, those we might try to contact would probably be hostile and dismissive because they were tasked by higher-ups to carry out this assignment, and exclusion of a religious group would be unthinkable to them, jeopardizing their employment.

    • Two names to suggest: Ms. A. Cyrus who works with Dr. Glazov exposing the evils of islam, and Mr. B. Faustin, who does artwork and articles from his knowledge of islam.

        • Do you mean, have I sent an email to you? If that is your question, the answer is no, I have not.

        • No. I don’t have Ms. Cyrus’ email address. and I don’t know that sending either of them an email would cause the president to consider them for advisors.
          If by some chance they were asked to be on the commission, they could accept or refuse as they chose.
          I just am aware that both know islam inside and out and are adept at expressing themselves.

    • No one that follows, prays to a terror murderer and wants to emulate him should be allowed to exist in the U.S.

      I’ve been saying that the Quran is a WAR MANUAL and ex-Muslims agree! Has Trump read that book? It instruct how to eliminate the infidel.

      Every mosque, school and Muslim should be expelled and have nothing to do with them. And Trump sells them our weapons and technology, and Elon puts up his satellite.

      Why do these people need all those weapons? I’ll tell you.. to fight their main goal now – the United States of America.

  5. So, various Trump real estate projects are signed off in Qatar, UAE, and Saudi Arabia as Trump uses his Presidential office to advance his personal business interests. One of the chief funders of the Jihad gifts him a plane worth 400 million dollars which he says he would be stupid not to accept. And now we hear about these highly suspect appointments. The man is either clueless or complicit.

  6. Why doesn’t he populate that commission w/ other non-Christians, such as Jews, Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs, Daoists, Shintos? Why does he have to put a muslim there, when he himself once suspected that “islam hates us”?

    Actually, this “commission for religious liberty” is one more of those agencies that needs to be DOGED. Our tax money doesn’t need to be spent interfering in the internal affairs of other countries, which is what this commission does

    • If he had non-mozlums study what mozlums are doing to them in other nations, it could help him to know what to expect from mozlums in this country.
      He could appoint from each of the groups you mentioned, one person knowledgeable about how to do research of their religion in other nations and each make a report. He would then know that mozlums persecute, rape and murder those of all other religions. and one Christian would be able to report on what mozlums are doing in Africa, and in majority mozlum nations. The Hindu could focus on those countries where they are targeted by mozlums; and on for the others.

      One from each group would be sufficient and no mozlums are needed because they are not being persecuted anywhere on earth.

  9. President Trump has forced me to stop supporting him, in every way possible. I feel he has stabbed America in the back. Placing known terrorists in key positions on the Commission’s board for Religious Liberty is letting the fox into the chicken coup. President Trump is a moronic, idiot and knows nothing about Islam, deals are his only goals. He’s confirmed for me, America is doomed to Islam and Sharia Law.

      This in an honest question I’m posing to you. Perhaps Trump has dumbed down about Islam or perhaps he thinks that prosperity will overcome the most heinous aspects of Islamic doctrine or perhaps he has a game plan that neither those aware of how Islam is and those not aware of how Islam is are clueless about or…or …or….

      • That’s a pretty dated quote, and if you ask him about it, it probably no longer applies. Similarly, in 2019, when Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Emirates and Bahrein had a fallout w/ Qatar, Trump supported them, although the state department bizarrely enough tried to resolve their differences. That was 180° out of sync w/ where he is today

        Sadly, most of the MAGA crowd, such as the Breitbart guys, are totally oblivious to him on Israel. As it is, there are many antisemites in the movement – Jack Posobiec, Mike Cernavich, Tucker Carlson…. and a lot of people who are opposed to H1B visas for Indians have morphed it into an overall hatred of Hindus. Which is why the only thing one can do is hope that the next leader of the GOP – be it Vance or anyone else (I certainly hope not Rubio, who is as islamophilic as they come): Trump has managed to negate a lot of the initial good work that he started w/ in his first 100 days

  10. Trump is far better than Obama and Biden, but reading an article like this one nonetheless makes more and more inclined to conclude that Trump is still not nearly good enough.

    Let me put it another way. Inviting Muslims into one inner circle after another would be like inviting Marxists or Nazis into such circles.

    Reminded here of a quote from the film, The Godfather, where an advisor to Michael Corleone says that Corleone’s father (played by Marlon Brando) worked with so and so, did business with so and so, but never trusted so and so.

    And this is how I want the President of the United States to deal with the entire Islamic sphere of mankind. I’m afraid this is not occurring presently, to put it mildly.

    In a statement published Thursday, the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of San Francisco announced that Trump had appointed Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone to serve on the advisory board of his new Religious Liberty Commission.
    Trump announced the formation of the commission at the White House earlier this month on the National Day of Prayer, noting that it would include 14 members and an advisory board consisting of no more than 15 religious leaders.

    “Religious liberty is a critical issue in our time that needs to be defended and addressed,” Cordileone said in reaction to his appointment. “I am happy to join my brother bishops in providing a Catholic voice on this important topic at a national level.”

    Two other Catholic bishops were appointed to the Religious Liberty Commission — Bishop Robert Barron of the Diocese of Winona-Rochester and Cardinal Timothy Dolan of the Archdiocese of New York. Two additional Catholic bishops were appointed to the advisory board — Bishop Thomas Paprocki of the Diocese of Springfield in Illinois and Bishop Kevin Rhoades of the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend in Indiana.
    Other appointees to the advisory board, as outlined in a statement published by The White House Friday, include Pastor Jentezen Franklin of Free Chapel in Gainesville, Georgia, Archbishop Elpidophros of the Greek Orthodox Church’s Archdiocese of America, Father Thomas Ferguson of Good Shepherd Parish in Alexandria, Virginia, Pastor Jack Graham of Prestonwood Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas, and four rabbis.
    The stated purpose of the commission, as outlined in an executive order signed by Trump on May 1, is to produce a “comprehensive report on the foundations of religious liberty on American society, current threats to domestic religious liberty, strategies to preserve and enhance religious liberty protections for future generations, and programs to increase awareness of and celebrate America’s peaceful religious pluralism.”

    The commission will also recommend “steps to secure domestic religious liberty by executive order or legislative actions” as well as “identifying opportunities for the White House Faith Office to partner with the ambassador at-large for international religious freedom to further the cause of religious liberty around the world.” ”
