Syria’s jihadist president offers a Trump Tower in Damascus if Trump will meet with him

He saw that the Qatari plane worked, and now all the jihad leaders think Trump can be bribed. That was just another reason why the Qatari plane was unwise to accept.

Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa, the leader of jihadist terror group Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), reportedly offered oil and gas concessions, peaceful relations with Israel, and even a new Trump Tower in the capital of Damascus as inducements for President Donald Trump to meet with him during Trump’s visit to the Middle East this week.

The report came from Jonathan Bass, CEO of Louisiana-based natural gas company Argent LNG and a strong Trump supporter. Bass flew to Damascus last week and met with Sharaa to discuss proposals for Western companies to help develop Syria’s oil resources….

Sharaa is clearly hoping Trump might break the ice by giving him a meeting, paving the way for other Western governments to do the same….

  7. Yeah, why not? If he can accept gifts from muslim brotherhood backer Qatar, then why not from another muslim brotherhood regime in Damascus?

    He obviously thinks that all Arabs are like Gulf Arabs and can be bribed out of jihad. Why didn’t anyone think of that before?

  9. Once a jihadi always a jihadi. These goons in Syria are killing off Druze and other minorities. Did Trump get guarantees this will stop?
    Has Qatar promised to stop funding Hamas or the Muslim Brotherhood?
    If not, there will soon be a Sunni coalition against Israel and the west.

    • Agree and you never negotiate with a terrorist. Jihadis practice Islam to the letter. President Trump does not understand the true nature of Islam; those smiling to his face are not friends. He needs to be very careful. His close advisors also are none the wiser. He needs to get the likes of Mr. Spencer, Ayaan Hirsi Ali and there are others to conduct training sessions. But, I will not hold my breath.

Trump (and those who have his ear and who are doing is bedding) is failing and appears to be ignorant and naive about the nature of Islam. The Islamic world plays the long game. They never lose focus on the end goal and Trump is being played big time. It’s not hard to do since he’s a narcisist with an ego that can never get enough stroking and, like most in leadership positions in the West, seems unwilling or disinterested in learning about this centuries-long threat we face.

    Trump is betraying us big time and too few on the right are calling him out. Instead, they’re looking the other way, making excuses, or actually making the case for the insane things he has said and done in recent weeks regarding ME policy.

    Lifting a glass with a smirk on my face about the clever Saudis gifting Trump a luxuroius plane and shortly thereafter playing the YMCA song when he was in the capital being wined and dined by those who embrace teachings that demand our demise.

  12. Trump is bribed and therefore does not see that these terrorists have already spread their terrorism to Libya. Yesterday, they killed the secular military commander Gheniwa, whose real name is Abdel Ghani al-Kikli, who is known for defending Christian facilities from Erdogan’s Al Qaeda.

  13. Trump will meet with the leader of ISIS in Arabia then head to Qatar for payment.

  14. Terrorism will now inevitably spread from Syria. Secular leaders like the King of Jordan, El Sisi in Egypt, and Haftar in Tripoli, and of course Israel, are in danger.
