Tashbih usually refers to the practice of repeating the names of Allah as prayer. It is not forbidden. This man was likely executed for tashbih in the sense of likening Allah to created things, a practice akin to idolatry.

I believe “sectarian differences” played a critical part ( to say the least ) for security forces storming Al-Safarqeyah area near Al-Qardahah in Latakia countryside, using several vehicles and firing directly at the man’s house. Shoot first, ask questions later.

Quit likely,. yes. The current rulers are Sunni JIhad terrorists, so just being Alawite or Shia is “heretical”

Those numbers are preposterous.
There is far more sectarian violence. In Latakia, there were not 41 fatalities, but at least a thousand Alawites (and some Alawites there may have been tens of thousands) were murdered by Sunni Muslims.

But muslims always tries to shape Allah according to every body’s own preference. There is not detail enough in Quran to descrie Allah, so muslims become creative in describing Allah, eventhough it is not mentioned in Quran, and sometimes, they omit what is said in Quran.
For example, Quran clearly says that Allah is the best deceiver, but the best deceiver is not on the list of the 99 names of Allah, a list created by human.
Those who create and use the list of 99 names of Allah should be executed too if the Islamists are consistent.
