As shattered, staggering, dhimmi Britain fully capitulates and embraces Sharia blasphemy laws, I hate to say “I told you so,” but not that much. British citizens can’t say they weren’t warned. Now they’ve acquiesced to a new Norman conquest and their reduction to dhimmi status in their own native land. If only somebody had seen it coming.
“Man who burned Koran faces charges for ‘harassing Islam,’” by Charles Hymas, Telegraph, May 8, 2025:
A man who burned a copy of the Koran has been charged with “harassing” Islam, which risks creating a “back door blasphemy law” in Britain, Robert Jenrick has warned.
The shadow justice secretary has claimed that the charge against Hamit Coskun, 50, for harassing the “religious institution of Islam” is a threat to free speech.
It is thought to be the first time that anyone facing such an offence has been prosecuted for harassing an “institution” in the form of Islam under the Public Order Act.
Lawyer Akua Reindorf said it was “plainly defective” because the “religious institution of Islam” was not a “person” for the purposes of the Act. The Crown Prosecution Service’s decision was “tantamount” to bringing a charge of blasphemy.
Ms Reindorf said that a conviction on the basis of available facts “would amount to the criminalisation of the act of desecrating a religious text in a public place”….

So Mr Spencer you told us so. You warned us We aquiesed to all this s**t?
I am English. I accept none of what is happening to the country my father and grandfather fought for. The country my children and grandchildren will have to live in.
I wake at night and stay awake for hours worrying about this stuff.
What shall I do about it ?
What can I do about it ?
Ordinary people get locked up here for trying to stand against this. I will still go to protests, boots on the ground.
I have heard you and I respect you. I have learnt a lot about Islam from you and your books. I will continue to read your articles
This will however be the last time I comment on Jihadwatch giving my perspective of what is happening in my country.
somehistory says
Sorry, Eddie. We will miss your comments about what is happening there, but I understand. You and so many others didn’t choose this, don’t want it and feel deeply threatened by it.
I wish you well.
If you have a Christian Faith, cling to it, don’t lose it

I am British too. And, although my ID is nothing like my real name, apart from the fact that both are feminine, I sometimes hesitate to comment because I know that what I am about to say would be viewed by some as Islamophobic. Don’t go – use a VPN if you aren’t doing so already, and change your ID if necessary, and maybe your email as well – tuta.com is rated as being unhackable. I also clear my cookies regularly, so that no-one can invigilate my online activity – Microsoft always puts one on my computer whenever it does an update.
My MP is one of the few Conservatives who survived, so I pass on such issues as I think he might be able to address – I probably would not do so if he were Labour (and certainly not Green, since Greta Thunberg is not unique in being both an environmentalist and pro-Palestinian), and am careful to ensure that some of my letters are about other matters, so that I do not appear to be obsessed with Islam’s inroads into the UK.
And for the record, if anyone in authority in the UK is reading this – I don’t hate Muslims, for the most part I feel compassion for people born into a system with which the decent ones – of whom there are many, an estate agent named Akbar stopped me from being cheated out of £40k some years back – can scarcely be in sympathy. The religion itself, which I believe to have been communicated to its founder by mediumship rather than prophecy, is to my mind an abomination, though.
Alkflaeda says
Postscript to last – Yes, I just wrote to my MP about this report. Not least to urge that, if Qur’an burning is deemed to be “harassment against Islam”, then arson against churches and defacement of synagogues should be viewed in a similar light. The words “can” and “worms” come to mind.
James Lincoln says
Please give it a second thought, Eddie.
Readers and posters here value your input.
Either way, I respect your decision.

I don’t think this *invasion* and handing over of the nation is anything like what happened with the Normans. Nor do I believe that the ordinary Brit chose this or wanted it to happen.
And just as one cannot slander a dead guy….as bo suggested with his command at the U.N….it isn’t possible to ‘harass” or insult or slander or otherwise upset, a *belief.”
mozlums are the ones making this happen….along with those too fearful to resist making laws to help it happen.
England Invaded says
Some countries would end as many hostile invaders as possible. UK used to do that. It is what is needed now.
Anyone who is hoping for some changes in a few years time with the next general election, is deluding themselves. The country will be ablaze by then or completely taken over.
tgusa says
“The country will be ablaze by then”
Well then, after all the decades of intervention in places that dont really matter to us pro Western Americans will finally have a worthwhile cause to get behind. Assisting the long established indigenous UK population. I cant think of a better place in the world to do it.
England Invaded says
Most Brits would be very thankful for just that.
Regime change across Western Europe is in order. Especially when you consider that each time Europeans try and stand up to their masters, they club together to have it stopped one way or another.
Of course the US has enough already to worry about with the left in it’s own lands. They would do the same if they could there and constantly try.
tgusa says
For now, we are content to stand back and hope you all sort it out yourselves. But in case of emergency pull the alarm. You are the only Western country that has a determined and legitimate back up that you can count on. So go forward, kick ass, take no prisoners, knowing you have a friend in the background.
tgusa says
Take a lesson from WWII USMC General Puller.
“All right, they’re on our left, they’re on our right, they’re in front of us, they’re behind us…they can’t get away this time”
“We’ve been looking for the enemy for some time now. We’ve finally found him. We’re surrounded. That simplifies the problem.”
tgusa says
If the powers that be think they can drive a wedge between the traditional UK people and the traditional American people. Good luck with that. We wont be siding with the invading UK muslims. It is about time that the UK Hindus come out in force and declare their absolute allegiance to the traditional UK people and their way of life. The time is short for choosing sides so my advise is, make it fast and choose wisely.

Nothing like some burned paper to get Keir to blindeye jihadi industrial rape of native girls. He has his priorities, after all.

And the kicker is that this man is – to judge from his name – ethnically Turkish; and presumably a courageous apostate. He knows – none better – what is in the Quran.
Those who are quoted, in the article, as sticking up for him, are to be commended.
Perhaps UK readers here – such as Eddie – might want to contact Akua Reindorf and Robert Jenrick, and express commendation and support; and even enclose notes intended for Mr Coskun himself, expressing support.
David M says
Risks creating a “back door blasphemy law” in Britain, Robert Jenrick has warned.
There is nothing “back door” about this at all. It is a ‘front door” in your face 100% blasphemy law they don’t have the guts to label a blasphemy law, but I’m sure that is coming. What a disgrace, I hope the British people make known to the traitor politicians they aren’t going to stand for this.
tgusa says
The Sharia UK government is harassing a Man for harassing Islam. Try to wrap your mind around that! Go ahead and try.

I have read that in America a Corporation is defined to be “person-like” and so is treated as a person by the Law and the Administration. Is the UK using a similar legality? You can harass people but how can you harass an institution?
tgusa says
A good number of American Corporations are more drone like than person like. Except for the IT department, of course. Yes I have seen it.
Tim gallagher says
It is pathetic all of this pandering to islam in our western countries when Muslims treat non Muslims so badly in any country where they have power. Only the Hungarians, poles and Czechs have it right when it comes to islam. They see Islam and Muslims clearly. In our stupid countries the sleepwalkers seem to be in charge. With Islam it is beginning to look as if the barbaric, violent thugs, the Muslims, are going to win.
