“Russia Vows To Aid Taliban In Fighting Islamic State In Afghanistan,” StratNews, May 3, 2025:
Russia plans to assist Taliban authorities in their fight against the Islamic State’s Afghan affiliate, Moscow’s special envoy to Afghanistan said on Friday.
Zamir Kabulov, a former Russian ambassador to Afghanistan, referred to Islamic State Khorasan (ISIS-K) as the “common enemy” of Moscow and Kabul.
“We see and appreciate the efforts that the Taliban are making in the fight against the Afghan wing of ISIS,” Kabulov told the RIA state news agency in an interview.
“We will provide our best assistance to the authorities of (Afghanistan) through specialised structures.”…
But in a step towards recognition, Russia last month formally removed the Taliban from its list of terrorist organisations, to which it had been added in 2003.
Kabulov’s comments underscore the dramatic rapprochement in recent years between Moscow and Kabul, which President Vladimir Putin said last year was now Russia’s “ally” in combating terrorism.
“We will provide our best assistance to the authorities of (Afghanistan) through specialised structures.”
Russia has been left reeling from multiple Islamic State (ISIS)-linked attacks, including the shooting of 145 people at a concert hall outside Moscow in March 2024, which was claimed by ISIS. U.S. officials said they had intelligence indicating ISIS-K was responsible….

HENCE, NON-MUSLIMS MUST MAKE ISLAM, ITS MOSQUES, ITS SCHOOLS, ITS COURTS, ETC. ILLEGAL UNDER WESTERN LAW(Quran 9:29 and more).
Also, Islam and its many Organizations must be identified and publicly declared to be MUSLIM TERRORIST ORGANIZATIONS(MTO) for their funding, teaching, and support of terrorism, violence, and discrimination against Non-Muslims as taught in Islam’s Quran(eg. Quran 3:151; 9:5,29,111; 60:4; 98:6-7 and more).

Actually, Afghanistan, before Brezhnev invaded it, had a Left leaning regime, but Afghan society, like Iranian society next door under the Pahlevis, was reasonably modern. Just look at any photo of people of either country at the time: it was somewhat indistinguishable from Europe. In some ways, they were even similar to the people of the Soviet -stans north of them, like Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan
Once the Soviets invaded Afghanistan, moderate democratic opposition was dead, and the only ones who could fight back, thanks to foreign support from Saudi Arabia and others, were the jihadists. Once Gorbachev started withdrawing troops and pulled his support for President Najib, they won, and went on to islamize Afghan society. Even that wasn’t enough for the Taliban, who took the country to where it probably was under Ahmad Shah Durani

When you want to give credit to an islamic armed organisation just create another, make them fight eachother and claim that the ones you support are more moderates. Thus enabling of jihad by Infidels will continue.
