No, Hamas Has Not Been Destroyed

Hamas is the Brotherhood and they’re still here.

Lately there’s been a clamor of voices calling for an end to the fighting in Gaza. And I mean beyond the usual theatrics from the anti-Israel crowd. Pro-Israel people have claimed that Hamas is destroyed because most of its leaders are gone.

Yes, most of the top Hamas leaders inside Israel are dead. The terror group has suffered serious battlefield casualties. But it is by no stretch of the imagination destroyed. The thing to remember is that Hamas is just the Muslim Brotherhood in Gaza. Unlike Al Qaeda or ISIS, the core of Hamas consists not just of armed terrorists, but the Brotherhood itself. And the Brotherhood/Hamas is still running Gaza.

Suggesting that Hamas has been destroyed is like saying the Jihad is over because we got Bin Laden.

Hamas just folds itself in and out of not only the Brotherhood, but the various fronts and groups it infiltrates from Al Jazeera to Islamic food aid agencies. Hamas operated out of mosques and charitable groups before it formally began to engage in terrorism. After Oct 7, Israel has destroyed a lot of the Hamas operational capability, but the group is not gone and every adult male Brotherhood member and clans aligned with Hamas will make it all too easy for the terror group to rebound.

There’s a lesson there not just for Israel, but for Americans. You can’t defeat terrorism if you allow the political and religious organizations, and their front groups to remain as dragon’s teeth.

That’s one reason why America watched the USSR crumble, but still lost to the leftists who served as the Enemy Within.

  2. I don’t care if this upsets the more liberal minded readers of JW, but EVERY Muslim in the world IS our enemy and this will remain so until this vile ideology is eradicated completely.

  3. obl was a member of the brotherhood. One of the top ghouls of the brotherhood encouraged obl to start a subgroup…a splinter, or shoot of the mb….and so obl raised up al queda and took off for afghanistan to fight the Russians.
    As long as the mb exists, so do the various groups under its umbrella.
    And as long as there are adherents of islime, there will be mozlum terrorists causing terror, murdering the innocent and demanding to have their way.

    All the while claiming things they know are lies in order to make it easier for them to control their enemies….the rest of us.

There are several muslim brotherhood affiliates, but even aside from them, there are other jihadist groups all over – al Qaeda Mahgreb, Boko Haram, Pali islamic jihad, Fatah, ISIS, al Qaeda Arabian Peninsula, Hizb ul Tahrir, Taliban, TTP, Jaish e Mohammed, Lashkar e Toiba, Harqat ul Mujahideen, islamic movement of Turkistan, Jemiah Islamiyah in Indonesia, Lashkar Jihad in Indonesia, MILF in Mindanao, Hefazat e islami in Bangladesh, CAIR in the US and so on

    As long as they’re all around, the jihad will continue

      All of these muslim brotherhood affiliated groups have strange names – hard to spell and remember – but there isn’t a nickel’s worth of difference between them.

      They all follow the same tenets of islam.

        Years ago, Hugh had an essay on Jihadwatch where he suggested that if one takes papers written w/ different Arabic words, such as “islam”, “muslim”, “jamaat”, “harkat”, “tahrir”, “hizb”, “lashkar”, et al, put in a jar, mixed up and then if one pulls out any 2 or 3 of those post-its, one will have the name of an islamic party or organization

        That’s how so many of them mushroom

        • It is my belief, after having taken the courses in anti-terrorism, each mozlum *group* is formed around the pet demand of the particular mozlums forming the group.

          If their pet demand is *education,* it’s boko haram. If it’s fighting the infidel…the core of islime, it’s al queda. isis….wanted to be the caliphate. And on and on.

          Of course, that is just my thinking on the subject. They are all part of the larger terror org…islime. Each one is a branch. Lop off one, and another will grow.

  6. Barking up the wrong tree. The source of problem is Islam, so Islam should be eradicated. Even if the whole Hamas members are killed, or even the whole Palestinians, the attack to Israel will keep going on.

    • Correct. The only good Muslims are the non practicing ones. But if you destroy their neighbors, it’s a good chance that they will be practicing. The Koran tells them so.

  7. “*Islam will rule the world” That statement says it all about Islam being a political organization and NOT a true religion. The world needs to change its belief and recognition of Islam as a religion and treat it as the evil political organization that it is.

    Islam is at war with the rest of the non muslim/islamic world. The sooner we recognize that fact the more non muslim/islamic lives will be saved. It’s going to be them or us.

  9. Islam is a government that includes a religion.
    That government declared war on all unbelievers in 624 AD.
    That government has not changed since that time. The government of Islam is still at war with any and all Infidels and will use any means necessary. All Infidels, be they Christians, Jews, Atheists – anyone who’s NOT a muslim is in the dar al-Harb, the House of War. “Radical” muslims are Snakes in the Grass. “Moderate” muslims are the Grass. We must cut out the ☪️cancer of the Islam government from our country and never import it back in. Would we import “moderate” nazis?
