JK Rowling compares trans activists to ‘Islamic fundamentalists’ who want to ‘hang’ women

The behavior of extreme trans activists has indeed mimicked “Islamic fundamentalists” in several ways, such as degrading the rights of women and using violence. That is, however, where the similarity ends.

Also, aggressive trans activism which completely robs women of their spaces is limited to a small subculture of modern, Western woke activism. The sharia oppression of women — which has other very different characteristics and of which Rowlings refers to as “Islamic fundamentalism” — has a 1,400-year history.

JK Rowling shows no signs of slowing down in her crusade against trans ideology despite victory in the Supreme Court last month. The Harry Potter author was among those celebrating when judges confirmed that ‘sex’ in the Equality Act was based on biology rather than identity.

The decision has been seen as a major victory for women’s sex-based rights but has been met with despair among trans activists. Rowling, 59, has now compared many in the trans lobby to Islamic fundamentalists.

In her latest musings on social media site X, Rowling responded to a video showing a rally in the Bangladeshi capital of Dhaka over the weekend. The clip shows men beating effigies of women and is in response to government proposals in the country to liberalise the country’s brutal women’s rights laws.

Rowling ‘quote tweeted’ the post and said: “‘Women who want sex-based rights should be punched and hanged’. Same vibe, different fundamentalist religion.”

The writer, who has sold over 600 million books worldwide, has faced death threats and abuse for her views while trans rallies have been marred by violent messaging towards women. In one particularly sinister incident, Nationalist politicians Kirsten Oswald, Stewart McDonald, Alison Thewliss and Kakaub Stewart were pictured in front of a sign that read “decapitate terfs”.….

  1. Maybe she’s finally coming to her senses about the invasion of the UK, but I doubt it.

    I don’t know how many she took in to her mansion but she was always on board with and signalling to her lefty peers, in support of the influx of third world animals to the UK.

    Let me guess, she means just the ‘fundamentalists’, when in truth that’s nearly all of them.

    And as she found out, as soon as she spoke out off message about the trans farce, her fellow lefties used her to score points for themselves.

      These jerks don’t understand that they appear as the foul-mouthed dregs of society, without any actual respect for women. It looks like they have hatred towards normal women.

      Somehow they warp their mind to think there is consistency in being for women’s rights while asking for women to be endangered by fake women(males) in sports, toilets, and showers, being on display while changing, and losing the athletic awards and scholarships that should be theirs.

      As one congresswoman said, “If males are allowed in women’s sports, why should women’s sports exist?” Then there was an almost-man, representing fencing, who thought it was OK to have men injure women in that sport. How do such addled persons get authority in sports and academics?

      The trans movement is a bridge too far. The movement has too many actual perverts and its grooming of ignorant youth for irreversible trans surgery will never obtain mainstream acceptance.

      Threatening old women will only make them appear more looney, dangerous, and invite an unpredictable response.

        The problem is that the “trans community” believes that trans (pretend) women are ACTUAL women.

  4. Now THIS is a winning argument.

    No more bullshit about further restricting the rights of Americans. No more “antisemitism” laws. No more censorship. No more surveillance.

    Instead, we identify the enemy as the TERRORISTS they are, and treat them accordingly.

    All of the violations of our rights are already covered. It’s right there in the ORIGINAL Constitution. We just need to rediscover it apparently.

    • I was impressed that officials locked the library and identification was required to get out. The look on faces when the doors were closed was priceless. “Uh-oh, my parents are gonna’ find out!”

      The administration of Columbia could stop this kind of behavior by expelling the involved students and firing any instructors who encouraged or made arrangements for it. Non-students, from off campus, should be prosecuted.

The thing that strikes about all this trans rights bullshit is that, for decades, there was the fight for women to have a fair go and equality and then along comes this trans crap that trashes women’s rights. It is definitely anti women. Those freaks beating real women in sport, trans people using the same change rooms and toilets as women, all this bullshit where people can’t even say what a woman is. It is all so bizarre. Women get equal rights and then this trans freak show trashes women’s rights.

    • Yes, Tim, and even a lot of women…females by birth…are all in favor of the fake women…males by birth…taking away that hard-fought “fair go and equality.”
      It is bazaar. And demonic.

      • Yes, I am amazed that a lot of women have put up with this insult to real women for so long, somehistory. I know that Rowling has seen through it for a long time and so have plenty of other I suspect. Here in Australia, the female commentators on sky news certainly were not accepting this trans lobby rubbish. I hope you going well

        • Yes, I am going ok thanks, somehistory. Doing my usual stuff, playing my keyboard, writing some songs, listening to and watching people performing on YouTube and I think I am going to have a shot at getting a book published. I figure, why not. As you know the publishers choose very few but I thought I will give it a go. At least with books you can send them to a publisher, with songs no one seems to know how you get them out to people who might record them. I am hopeless with technology so that holds me back quite a bit.

    • For so long and still in many countries the backlash of being against “trans rights “ by those in charge and the insane followers was enough to keep one’s mouth shut. This is one of the reasons Trump won the presidential election. More people are now standing against this insanity.

    So, Mrs. Douglass-Williams ? These people are all the same: they want to silence people, lock them up, threaten them with violence, and incite other people even to perpetrate violence against them. The main thing is: they are totalitarians, and it doesn’t matter a single bit in my mind whether their ideology has sprung from a so-called religion 1400 years ago or whether it is a relatively new phenomenon in the 21st century. What is the bloody point of emphasizing this ? Is that going make things better all in the long run ?

    Their numbskull totalitarianism will turn out just as dangerous as the mullah regime in Iran or the Taliban if it will not be stopped in time. They are just as bad as the Wahhabi clergy of Saudi Arabia. Nitpicking on small details is not going to make this go away.

    JK Rowling is right. Their mentality is just the same. That’s all we need to know.

  8. Thank God Trump has banned transgender surgery in the military! The main reason they volunteered was to get the surgery free, and the military even paid when they decided to reverse the surgery.

    BTW, parents should say this if a child wants to change their sex: “It’s easy, just kiss your elbow!”

  9. Sports are competitions of bodies, not genders, bodies.

    You say you were born in the wrong body. I agree. You have the wrong body to compete with females. You claim you’re a woman in a man’s body – this is you admitting you have the wrong body.
    You can reupholster yourself all you want – it’s just superficial. If I get a facelift I’m still the same age as ever.

    Working hard on your delusion does not give you the ability to change reality. Wanting me to go along with your delusion is not something I am willing to do for you, so it’s emphatically “No”.
