Has the true Islam been lost? And is its recovery what both the West and the Islamic world really need?
In a fascinating and thoughtful recent article, the Muslim intellectual Hussein Aboubakr Mansour argues that both jihadis and foes of jihad are not actually dealing with Islam as such, but with a hollowed-out shell of the real thing. He writes: “The Arab weeps at the mosque for the ‘fall’ of Islam—though he would not recognize it if it stood before him. The Westerner panics over the ‘rise’ of Islam—though what rises is not a religion, but a people broken by the absence of one.”

There is no such thing as suffering from an absence of islam. If there is an absence of islam anywhere, that place is nirvana (and no, I’m not talking about Kurt Cobain)
Hussein Mansour is lamenting the non-existence of islam-as-he’d-like-to-see-it, which may or may not coincide w/ real mainstream doctrines. In other words, a very miniscule subset of islam. In contrast, Westerners who recognize this threat at all panic over any variation of islam – sunni, shi’a, sufi, ibadi, ahmadiya, alewi,… making its entry into the West, and don’t distinguish b/w Arabs, Turks, Indic-muslims, East Indies muslims, African muslims and so on. The “dichotomy” that he sees are actually 2 different concepts to 2 different groups of people
Whatever the real islam is, it needs to stay the hell out of bilad ul Kafir. They have enough of the earth’s real estate

I’m doing just fine with the absence of Islam in my life.
Although with the state of things in Europe and the leftist/islamo alliance in the US, I’m not sure how much longer that will be.

What mankind needs, is whole lot less evil….including what comes out of the practice of islime (my spelling of the works of the devil) and a lot more morality, honesty, true love and concern for others.
mozlums have no concept of any of those moral things, and yet, each one to some degree, wants to lecture the rest of us and impose their evil slime upon our lives.

But this is actually a false ideation. Mohammed’s own recreation of the utter failures of his pagan world, and the Jewish and Christian one are clear and resonate thruout the entirely of his time on the scene. Subjugation and Conquest of ‘all others’ immediately followed as the only possilbe outcome. This is what haunts all the muslims since- how to reclaim their self defining proof- mastery of this world as well as the next, as Mohammed proclaimed. I read this essay of Mansour’s but I seen little understanding of the fact that the terror of Islam was essentially due to the fact that there was no ten commandments of G-d almighty as given to the Jews with the Torah. There is only what Mohammed said was good was… the good and what Mohammed said was back… was bad. And that is a disaster in the making for all others- the ‘unbelievers’ the ‘Kuffar’, which is the dirtiest word, perhaps in the world.

Yes, if mozlums were meant to be ‘masters of the world,’ then they would never have suffered the losses as they did once the Crusades came to be. They would have kept on going and everyone would have been “subjugated” long before now.
