It would have been helpful if Owaisi had explained the difference between murder and terror on the one hand and jihad on the other, but alas, he did not.

AIMIM leader and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi on Thursday tore into Pakistan for spreading terror in the name of ‘jihad’, and sought international sanctions against the nation. Hailing the Indian Armed Forces for ‘Operation Sindoor’, Owaisi said that India must get the UN Security Council to designate The Resistance Front (TRF), the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) offshoot that is said to be behind the Pahalgam terror attack, as a terrorist organisation.
The suggestions by the AIMIM leader were made at an all-party meeting chaired by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, who met representatives of political parties to share information about ‘Operation Sindoor’.
“I complimented our armed forces and the government for carrying out Operation Sindoor. I suggested that we run an international campaign against TRF. We must get the UN Security Council to designate it as a terrorist organisation. We must get the US to designate TRF as a foreign terrorist organisation,” he said.
“In February, Hafiz Abdur Rauf delivered a speech in PoK that we want to do jihad this year. They want to murder and spread terror in the name of jihad. Pakistan must be put on the grey list of FATF. We must also get the UK government to ban TRF and sanction Pakistan,” Owaisi told the media after the meeting.
Praising Operation Sindoor, he said the biggest achievement was the attacks on Muridke and Bahawalpur. “These are known terrorist headquarters.” Owaisi also called for compensation for the families of the civilians who were killed during Pakistan’s heavy shelling in Poonch….

I agree w/ Robert, but having said that, Owaisi is less anti-Hindu than Modi and a lot of BJP leaders, who are afraid to denounce the Pakistani and Bangladesh persecution of Hindus in those countries, which Owaisi did. Shows one the political plight of Hindus in India itself. Owaisi is a leader of a muslim party originally based in Hyderabad, but which now speaks for muslims across India, and supports laws like Waqf Laws. In that though, they are no different from the BJP or Congress or any of India’s other political parties

Ich frage mich sowieso, wie lange die westliche “Wertegemeinschaft” dem islamistischen Treiben noch hilflos und achselzuckend zusehen möchte, die progressiven Unterstützern in ihren Ländern Chaos und Unfrieden verbreitet, toleriert und sich in Verhandlungen mit Mördern und Terrorunterstützern begiebt, die offen die Auslöschung Amerikas und Israels fordern.
Es könnte so einfach sein, als politischer Führer eine klare Position einzunehmen, wenn man Positionen wie Rechtsstaatlichkeit, Gleichheit vor dem Gesetz, Meinungsfreiheit, freihe Wahlen und Respekt vor der Würde des Menschen vertritt.
Die 10 Gebote waren schon mal ein guter Anfang für eine funktionierende Gesellschaft. Die Aufklärung und die Trennung von Kirche und Staat waren die Voraussetzung für die Allgemeine Erklärung der Menschenrechte und ihre Durchsetzung als Grundlage für die Entstehung einer modernen, toleranten Gesellschaft. Das ist unsere sogenannte “Westliche Wertegemeinschaft”. Es lohnt sich dafür den Rücken gerade zu machen und selbstbewusst und unmissverständlich dafür einzustehen.

Well, Asaduddin Owaisi is right in this case. But he is vry much a Muslim, and only opposed the Jihad attacks on Mumbai because Muslims were among the victims. H is also dead set aagainst India consideing Ahmadis to be Muslims. He has also aided ISIS and is opposed to free speech regarding Muhammad, and says all humans are born Muslim.
