Either the Iranian regime is dangerously incompetent, in the way in which its men mishandled the rocket fuel brought in from China, or it is dangerously vulnerable, either to sabotage carried out by the Iranian enemies of the regime who belong to Mujahedin e-Khalq, or — more likely — to the Mossad agents who in the past have done so much to slow down Iran’s nuclear program, from the Stuxnet computer worm in 2015, that sent centrifuges spinning much too fast so that they destroyed themselves, to the 2018 seizure of Iran’s entire nuclear archive that was hidden in a nondescript warehouse, to the assassinations, seriatim, of five of Iran’s most important nuclear scientists, including the senior scientist who directed the program, Mohsen Fakhrizadeh. In an interview with The Media Line, Gen. Amir Avivi hinted at Israeli involvement in a recent chemical strike on Iranian rocket fuel, observing that “this attack was on fuel for ballistic rockets. So it makes sensethat this is a planned attack and not an accident.”…
He may be right, but the IDF usually refuses to comment about attacks it has carried out. In this case, the IDF denied any responsibility for the explosion at the port. Perhaps Avivi is simply trying to stir the pot and further unsettle the Iranian regime by suggesting a Mossad operation. One more worry for the Supreme Leader, just when he had been convinced it was only a terrible accident.
If Avivi’s suggestion that the blast at Bandar Abbas was not an accident proves true, and Israel was indeed responsible, the Iranians will continue to call it an accident. To admit that Israel, the Little Satan, was to blame, would then require Iran, to save face, to launch another attack on Israel. But this is something they don’t dare to do, because Israel would then let loose with a devastating attack, that would certainly include nuclear sites. But privately, among the highest echelons of the state, they will know, and understand, that what just happened at the port of Bandar Abbas is most worrisomely, as I’ve said before, a preview of coming attractions.

Apparently, he mentions Israel’s involvement nowhere.
Mr. Avivi apparently is a currently serving General, part of the Israeli power structure. He knows when to hush up. And he may be held responsible under martial law for ‘spilling the beans’.
Furthermore, he may have reasons totally unknown to us to say what he says.

To an observer reviewing the public videos of the explosions, one concur, we see that there were three simultaneous, but separate, explosions with enough distance between them so that each was not an ignition source for the others. The only conclusion they can be drawn from such observation is that this was sabotage. But, there is no way to figure out who is behind the sabotage, except I will say that Mossad works in mysterious ways. A secondary possibility is that the Iranians have saboteurs among them.

I doubt that Israel was behind this. Since they have been asked by the Trump administration not to attack Iran, I doubt that they’d try even a covert attack, since it risks blowing up in their face if it is exposed
Also, it would make far more sense for Israel to take out Kharg island’s oil terminal, which handles 90% of Iran’s oil, than do what looks more like a terrorist attack

Everything that Gen. Amir Avivi says was cleared by Israel’s Ministry of defense, and possibly by Netanyahu himself. If Israel were involved in this explosion, I assure you that they obtained the go ahead from Rubio and possibly Trump.
I agree with you that Kharg terminal is a more strategic target, but if this operation were orchestrated by Mossad, it was probably years in the making. Somebody was ordering multi ton shipments of ammonium nitrate for years For storage in three distinct warehouses. At some point, somebody made a decision to detonate the storage facilities, and much the same way that someone made a decision to detonate the beepers. By the way, I ran, realizing the vulnerability of Kharg terminal, has located another oil terminal a lot, firther from Israel

Is it possible that the current Syrian regime, or some connection of theirs, could be involved in the Bandar Abbas fires? Assad was an ally of Iran, so there may not be any love lost between Sharaa and Iran.
