It’s disgusting that they managed to separate the release of Edan Alexander from the release of the Israeli hostages, so that the US would stop breathing down their neck, and it would be just left to Israel. I’m happy for Edan’s release, but have nothing but contempt for the entire US team that has been negotiating this. Essentially the message we sent was that if terrorists just separate out the Americans and release them, they can get away w/ impunity w/ doing anything to anyone else, and the US will put pressure on that country to not retaliate
Some of the polls showed President Trump’s numbers down, even if it didn’t benefit Dems. I don’t think it’s all about tariffs (which I for one support): I think it may be his vacillating on the issue of Israel, the hostages, the Houthis and Iran that’s causing this. I’ve never had a negative opinion of Trump since he came down that escalator – until now!

While the fact that most US citizens agree and like ‘America First’, and rightly so, President Trump and his team do not understand Islam and he is walking a ‘thin’ line. He is practising diplomacy perfectly and it has shown a ‘cooling’ of Israel. He needs to learn. Even if the Saudis are not ‘hard line’, they are Muslims. They will smile to his face and undercut at the same time.
I am very wary and somewhat disappointed. Let us wait and see.

Back in undergrad, I did a lot of stupid things.
On a typical Friday night, I would head to the student union for $0.25 beers served in a plastic cup, free popcorn, and Three Stooges shorts projected on the big screen. And I was picked as the “anchorman” for our beer chugging contests.
Was barely able to stumble back to my dorm.
But nothing stupid like today’s supporters of Hamas…

Further to make things even more cruel, while starving the female hostages were forced to cook meals Hamas captors but forbidden to any of the food they had cooked. Those Muslim terrorists of Hamas who did and still do those brutal cruel despicable things should not go unpunished.
Some of the kidnapped victims had been in had been isolated in small dark underground tunnel rooms with no human contact , at all, all the time that they were held as prisoners of Hamas.
One young woman when just freed still had a bullet in her leg. She received no medical treatment for that injury she had after being shot of a Hamas terrorist.
The list could go on about many horrific brutal ways in which the terrorists of Hamas treated the people they had ruthlessly kidnapped.
The point is Hamas is pure evil and likewise the Muslim terrorist are completely and totally evil . This is because the violent brutal cruel false religion that is Islam had infected their hearts and minds.
