It depends, you see, on what the enemies of Israel, the people who want Hamas to win the war by managing to remain, battered but still standing after the IDF pulls out of Gaza, think is most harmful to Israel’s case. If Israel “occupies Gaza,” then it has both the right and the duty to supply food, which it is trying to do now through the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation. But the enemies of Israel now berate it for trying to distribute such aid; it has no right to do so, they claim. And this would be true only if Israel were not an occupier. So which is it? That depends on the point the Hamas claque is trying to make.

The anger over the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation shows, as clearly as can be, the double standards applied to Israel.
The Humanitarian Country Team yesterday said, “A new militarized distribution system has just been launched. As we have stated, it does not align with humanitarian principles, it puts people at risk, and it will not meet people’s needs, or dignity, across Gaza..”
The main problem, the critics say, is that Israel’s military is in the distribution hubs, and that violates “neutrality” in aid distribution….
The Israeli soldiers, along with armed guards provided by private contractors, are stationed at the distribution hubs for one reason: to prevent Hamas from stealing much of the aid for itself, and then to sell it, at exorbitant prices, to ordinary Gazans, a practice the terror group has engaged in since the start of the Gaza war.
There is no problem in international law for the occupier to hire a private contractor to help distribute aid. It might be a problem only if Israel is not the occupier of any part of Gaza.
So Israel is doing everything international law demands of it – and its critics are whining about it because they simply do not want Israel to win the war against Hamas. That is the only consistency I can see as to when they say aid distribution is not neutral and when it is, when Gaza is considered occupied and when it isn’t, when refugees are encouraged to flee war zones for other countries and when they are not, emphasizing glitches on the first day of GHF food delivery while ignoring Gazans being shot dead while taking flour from a Hamas warehouse – the only pattern is that they are always choosing the position to make it more difficult for Israel to win the war.
In respect to aid, I cannot find a single example where Israel has violated international law. In fact, that applies to the entire war in Gaza. The way that the IDF built these humanitarian distribution hubs is a perfect example of how Israel wants aid to be delivered to the innocent and not hijacked by Hamas. It is utterly inconsistent with “using starvation as a weapon of war” or “genocide.”
Why has no news media noticed this pattern? Why does it repeat the UN lies? Why is it so hard to look up the Geneva Conventions themselves?
Israel will continue to feed the Gazans, and at the same time IDF soldiers will prevent Hamas from stealing so much of that food aid. More trucks will roll in to Gaza, each day, more distribution points will open, with thousands of tons of food, medicine, and other aid. The crowds in Gaza that are now so anxious will quiet down once they can be assured that the deliveries of humanitarian aid, and especially of food, will not only not end, but steadily increase. And Hamas? Hamas will be enraged that Israel is managing not just to feed the people of Gaza, but also has cut off what is now the terror group’s main source of income, the money they derive from the humanitarian aid that for the past twenty months Hamas has been seizing and then selling to those who were supposed to have received it for free. Hamas will do everything it can to disrupt the distribution of food and will rally its supporters outside Gaza to denounce the current Samaritan effort by Israel. Hamas has already been shooting into the crowds of Gazans waiting to receive their aid packages, hoping to kill people and claiming that “Israeli snipers” were responsible.
But Israel will keep on keeping on. The food will go to those who deserve it, and as for Hamas, deprived of its income — apparently its bezonians have not received their salaries for the last three months — there will be weeping, and wailing, and gnashing of teeth. And one more achievement by the IDF, in fairly distributing that aid, and preventing its theft, will go unappreciated by so many on our giddy globe who have been brainwashed into believing the worst of the tiny Jewish state.

James, when I was a kid in my mother’s house, there were many meatless meals. To have meat, a chicken or hog would have to lose its life.
If my father went fishing, we had catfish or mullet for a change at dinner.
We sometimes had spam. And I still like a spam sandwich every now and then.
It probably helped many servicemen get through the day. I don’t think there is anything wrong with liking it….or just appreciating it.

I just wish the IDF would finish the job. Israel conquered the Sinai, Gaza, the West Bank & the Golan Heights in just SIX DAYS back in 1967. They’ve spent over 600 DAYS trying to conquer Gaza this time around. I understand that they’re dealing with 2 important issues….1) keeping Gazan civilian casualties down and 2) avoiding the killing of Israeli hostages in the fighting.
Nonetheless, the fighting has gone on far too long. Time to finish the job.

Before the war, I believe that there was no Israelis in Gaza, But still the claim was Gaza was being occupied.
How come an area is being occupied by certain people when that people do not live in the area?

The civilian population of Gaza support Hamas, so let them take care of themselves in Gaza. If they can’t survive under Hamas’s government and care they should either get rid of Hamas or move to another muslim/islamic country. Sending Gaza aid is not helping ending this conflict it is extending it. Where did we ever get leaders who think aiding the enemy you are at war with is a good idea?

Israel must take the area in it’s entirety. The Gazans, or Palestinians or Jihadi’s or whatever lie they call themselves need to go. The areas must be one part of Israel with very strict borders. “Pay for Slay” must go.
Israel is the tip of the spear fighting the March of Global Islam. The rest of the non Muslims must join in this purge, or lose everything.
