When Kathrada prays “O Allah, destroy the Jews,” he isn’t just hoping for divine punishment to come upon them. It is a call to Muslims to do violence to Jews, for the Qur’an tells Muslims that they are the executors of the wrath of Allah: “Fight them, and Allah will punish them by your hands, and he will lay them low and give you victory over them, and he will heal the hearts of people who are believers, and he will remove the anger of their hearts.” (Qur’an 9:14-15)

In an April 18, 2025 Friday sermon, Canadian Islamic scholar Younus Kathrada praised ten-year-old Palestinian boys who say: “I live to be a martyr.” Kathrada said that there are many such boys who want to fight for the sake of Allah, defend Islam and the Muslims, and defend the Al-Aqsa Mosque. He went on to say: “It’s the young girls as well… Did you not hear the little girl who said: ‘I want to grow up, and I want to get married, and I want to give birth to and raise martyrs’?”
Sheikh Kathrada, who was speaking in Victoria, BC, concluded his sermon by cursing the Jews and praying for their destruction.
The sermon was posted on the YouTube channel of the Muslim Youth Victoria Islamic Centre. In the past, a scheduled lecture by Kathrada on the University of Victoria campus was cancelled following media criticism citing MEMRI clips of Kathrada praising Jihad and denigrating Jews.
Younus Kathrada: “Kids, some of them 10 years old… I’m sure that you’ve heard some of those clips [from Gaza], where a child says: ‘I live to be a martyr.’ In other words, I live to die… Yes! ‘I live to fight for the sake of Allah. I live to defend Islam and the Muslims. I live to defend the Al-Aqsa Mosque.’ Yes, there are a lot of examples of them.

One was to get shot while running with the live grenade. The other was for the grenade to explode before the boy could throw it and thus lose a hand or arm. There were no other “glorious” moments for these cannon fodder kids. This Younus Kathrada cares about the same for Arab kids in Gaza as did these cowardly Hamas who told them to run and throw the grenade.
Another favorite of both Hamas and fatah was to close school early and bus the children to a place where Israeli IDF were to hold a “demonstration” against the evil occupiers. WHen the bus arrived the “militant” who brought them told them go and call the Jews horrible names and don’t hold back. The kids ran to the soldiers and yelled the appropriate hate and foul words, then the “militants” came up behind them and shot at the IDF members from behind the children. Either they hit a Jewish soldier or the Jewish soldiers would fire back at them and hit a kid. Either way the “militants” won. Generally the IDF would not return fire as hitting a kid wasn’t worth it. So the Hamas/Fatah creeps had a free “try to kill a Jew” day.
That is the Palestinian concept of war.

Of course the Canadians authorities will do nothing about this imam. Canadian authorities, as we saw graphically during recent months in Toronto and Montreal, proved world champion gutless cowards. Off this subject, somehistory, but as someone that I know likes music and is a very strongly committed Christian I was wondering if you know about and have listened to the Petersen’s, a family playing bluegrass music on YouTube. I think they are terrific. They do lots of gospel songs like wayfaring stranger, amazing grace and lots of other songs like desperado, gone to Carolina in my mind,etc. you probably do know them but if not check them out. Just YouTube the Petersen’s.

She studied voice at community college and her “group” performed wonderful concerts featuring chorus and special solos. And she just recently joined a local chorus group.
