In France, where I live, as everywhere else in Europe, Islam is very certainly the most feared religious ideology in public opinion, if not the most rejected. But how could Islam’s image possibly improve in our country when terrorism in the name of God, blindly striking innocent “unbelievers” in our streets every year, is exclusively perpetrated in the name of Allah? And how could this image possibly improve when various European government statistics studying crime rates by nationality inevitably reveal that the delinquency rate coming from Islamic countries is higher than that of any other cultural community? It is an undeniable fact that at least unites both defenders and critics of Islam here in France: the media image of Islam is associated with negative representations, controversies, and problems, starting with violence.
The French society in which I was born and raised suffers from a contemporary ailment that prevents problems from being properly named — yet naming them is the first essential step toward solving them: the “culture of excuse.” Firmly rooted in dominant political, associative, and academic discourse, the culture of excuse is an intellectual posture that consists of minimizing individual responsibility for criminal acts by invoking socioeconomic determinisms such as financial poverty or unemployment. This systematic explanation obviously denies the ideological, educational, and cultural dimension of certain behaviors that raise political or security problems in our modern societies. This denial is not based on an objective analysis of facts but on a moral fear of being accused of xenophobia or incitement to hatred against different cultures. In the name of social peace, this falsely pacified diplomatic climate, which consists of silencing disturbing sociological truths, now prevents any political criticism of Islam from being expressed without immediately being disqualified as coming from the “far right.”
Islamists in the Western world are therefore delighted to slyly defend their societal projects through political correctness, constant moral relativism, and value inversion, which transforms the denunciation of Islamic intolerance into a plea for interfaith civil war. If you denounce the violence in the verses of the Quran, they will reply that the violence encouraged by the Quran is not spontaneous aggression, but merely self-defense. If you denounce terrorist violence perpetrated in the name of Islam in the Western world, they will respond that this terrorism is a desperate and anarchic response to violence organized militarily and economically by the West in the Muslim world. They have memorized a thousand and one sophistic slogans to use in transforming the malevolent discourse of their political ideology into a victimhood narrative.
As a former Muslim condemned to social and physical death by Allah and the prophet Muhammad in the Islamic sacred texts, I have spent the last ten years criticizing those sacred texts through my books and videos. I am particularly known in France for my most important book (which I have just published in English): 100 Contradictions and Scientific Errors in the Quran. It took me three long years of work, between 2020 and 2023, to create this encyclopedic study, in which I list the 100 greatest lexical, scientific, narrative, mathematical, dialectical, and historical contradictions in the Quran. These 100 human errors that I found in the Quran — and which I demonstrate methodically and precisely — should not be present in the most important sacred book for Muslims. The founding dogma of Islam is indeed the belief that the Quran, from the first to the last sentence, is the word of a perfect god who neither lies nor makes mistakes, and whose message is valid at all times and in all places until the Day of Judgment. My book, which aims to demonstrate that the divine work of the Quran is in fact a human work, may seem to have no political value at first glance, but it is, in my view, crucial in the battle of ideas that we must wage against Islamists. The denunciation of the direct violence or hidden political agendas of Islamists in the Western world remains necessary — but it is no longer sufficient. I have at least three reasons to believe that an encyclopedia demonstrating that the Quran is a book filled with contradictions and scientific errors would be an indispensable asset.
First: while defenders of Islam often reject criticism of its violence as being merely moral, and therefore subjective (and thus evadable through political rhetoric), science (facts, evidence, mathematics) is more binary and objective in their eyes. The contradictions and scientific errors in the Quran are more difficult to contest, which can create internal divisions among our Islamist adversaries, demoralize them, make them uncomfortable, or plant seeds of doubt in their ideology. The perfect God Allah should not make mistakes and should know how to count — yet in 100 Contradictions and Scientific Errors in the Quran, I demonstrate, for example, the existence of at least six mathematical errors in the Quran. Second: if every citizen in the world understands that the Quran is an absurd text full of contradictions and scientific errors, then the intellectual credibility they grant to Islamic culture will collapse. Consequently, Islamic claims will seem much less legitimate to them, as will the idea that Islam constitutes an enrichment for our modern societies. Third: winning the battle of ideas against Islam cannot be limited to the political field or to the denunciation of violence. We must also win on the cultural and intellectual field in order to achieve a lasting political victory in public opinion.
Ultimately, the condemnation of the visible manifestations of Islamism is obviously useful and salutary, but it is only one facet of the ideological struggle that must be waged against this politico-religious movement. My work, as an apostate critical of the sacred texts of his former religion, is to provide intellectual tools for this endeavor — not out of hatred or revenge, but out of love for truth and freedom. The public criticism of Islam should not be as subversive and tumultuous as it currently is in France. In theory, French laws allow anyone to criticize the Quran or to publicly declare their apostasy from Islam. But in practice, publicly criticizing Islam, its texts, or its symbols is a dangerous position to take today. The recent Islamist terrorist attacks against journalists and teachers in France have clearly illustrated the extent of this risk, which did not always exist in this land. The day when the public criticism of Islam will be nothing more than an intellectual pastime without dire political consequences has yet to come. So as long as it remains dangerous to criticize Islam, it will remain necessary to criticize Islam.

For decades, I’ve read, heard and watched various media platforms and intellectuals take Islam apart in many interesting ways. However, the problem is how to capture the interest of Joe Sixpack and his wife so that they understand that Islam is fatally flawed.
I would suggest that the media that opposes Islam should join together and focus on just one enormous weakness in the Islamic narrative.
I’m talking about Surah 9: Verse 31of Al Qur’an. The Surah commands Muslims to worship Allah AND HIS MESSIAH, SON OF MARY”! ” … mendullillah hi almasiah ibn mariam”
Clearly, there isn’t a Muslim anywhere that could defend or explain away this verse. The SIN that Allah has no partners would crumble. Everyone opposed to Islam should focus on it and hit it again and again and again! It’s a major pain-point for Islam.

I don’t subscribe to Islam and I’ve never made a study of the Koran but it does seem odd that Muslims would be told to worship both Allah and Jesus.
So I checked and I think you have just misunderstood the grammar involved:
“SAHIH INTERNATIONAL

A rearrangement removes the awkward grammar. But the meaning is unaltered:

I understand how the “perfect book” being riddled with math and science errors is a serious issue, but for me the sheer violent savagery of Islam will always be the biggest issue.
Of course, you have to think that Islam being so murderous is actually a moral problem–which pious Muslims do not.
In either case, kudos to Muslim apostate Majid Oukacha–a brave and decent man.
