It’s a story that one might expect to come out of Tehran or Lahore. Instead, it comes from London: a man was formally charged with insulting Islam. This has been a long time in the offing, but never before had a Western government crossed the line and levied criminal charges against someone for violating Islamic blasphemy laws. have made their way into the legal system of a Western nation, under the pretext of banning “harassment.” After a public outcry, the British authorities walked back the charge, but there was no indication that in the absence of that outcry, they would have done so. Given the trajectory of modern Britain, it’s extremely likely that we will be seeing this charge again.

I cannot understand why people would waste money on Qurans in order to burn them. I would encourage burning of Qurans though. More of them need to burn. Daily. Across every nation.

You can *only* burn your own Qur’an–or one whose owner has given permission. Burning someone else’s Qur’an is destruction of property. No need to do this.
I just suggest that you buy your Qur’an feom a mainstream publisher, and not an Islamic group, where your money will be usd to fund Da’wa and Jihad.

Or pick up a used copy at a thrift store or library sale. Not worth wasting good money paying full price.

Why would anyone want to harass the death cult/not-a-religion islam? Shouldn’t we show respect for a cult whose ayatollah (Ruhollah Khomeini) wrote a book in which he stated it is entirely acceptable to sodomize a child, even as young as an infant? Get a copy of the Tahrirolvasyleh while you are getting a copy of the qu’ran – and then allow them to dry from the golden shower they deserve before you burn them.
