The piece below by Andrea Widburg about the effects of mass Muslim migration on Europe is, I allow myself to believe, too gloomy. But it deserves to be read, one more attempt to help the Western world come to its senses, as it considers the effect so far of mass Muslim migration on the countries of Europe, and as their indigenous peoples consider what steps to take to preserve themselves from a threatened irreversible transformation. How can we expect Muslims to integrate into our countries when the Qur’an tells them that they are “the best of peoples,” while non-Muslims are “the most vile of created beings,” and are taught to believe that Islam is “to dominate and not be dominated”?

…a hugely popular podcast entitled “The Coming British Civil War.” On it, David Betz, a King’s College, London, professor who is an expert on civil wars, opines that the UK is on the verge of a civil war….
The UK is not the only European nation that is being driven to the breaking point by the stresses that the ruling elites have placed upon their ancient cultures. The same is true in France, where the ruling class has conveniently decided to lock away Marine Le Pen, the one person who is currently standing athwart the French political system yelling “Stop.”
Meanwhile, in Germany, the AfD party, which opposes unlimited Muslim immigration, is being blackballed, blacklisted, and sidelined. European elites, just like America’s Democrats, believe that “democracy” applies only to votes for their people and policies….
As for me, I don’t think there’ll even be a scrambling guerrilla war in Europe. I say that for a few reasons:
1. The European masses have been enervated by socialism, which, unlike religion, is the true opiate of the people. They are so utterly dependent on the government that they cannot rebel against it. Indeed, if you look at the utter passivity / helplessness of ordinary Brits in the face of the mass Muslim rape of their children, you have a microcosm of what the once warlike Europeans have become.
2. What’s going on in Europe has lasted long enough that it is the young people’s normal. They have been brainwashed from the cradle to accept multiculturalism, sexual abnormalities, and open borders as good and inevitable things. While their parents may rebel, the last couple of generations, like good Nazi youth who turned their parents in to the Gestapo, think their parents are wrong and even dangerous. And keep in mind that, thanks to the war on families, the old European lineage is dying out anyway, as native-born women have stopped having children.
3. The Europeans are disarmed. Their government took their weapons away a long time ago. They’re barely allowed to have sporks. And while immigrants haven’t felt constrained by those laws and have maintained access to weapons, the native Europeans smugly handed over their weapons of self-defense, secure in their moral superiority.
4. The civil war, such as it might have been, is already over, and the enemy is already in country. The civil war was fought at the ballot box when leftists became more and more extreme, and the population, hooked on that good socialist opium, kept voting for them. Their numbers are declining, and their values are already broken.
The last gasp was when Angela Merkel opened Europe’s doors to Islam. The ordinary people, cowed and bullied, acquiesced. Indeed, in Germany, they felt that letting in Jew killers was their punishment for killing Jews. (The Germans have always had a twist to the psyches, hence the Holocaust in the first place.)
5. The Barbarians are already in the gate. (Not at the gate, but inside the gate.) Nothing more clearly illustrates this than what’s happened in Vienna. As European history buffs know, in 1683, forces from the Holy Roman Empire and the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth beat back the seemingly unbeatable Ottoman Empire, which was besieging Vienna from the East. Europe was saved from becoming one more of the Muslim conquests that began when Mohamed’s forces burst out of the Arabian desert a thousand years before….
Will all of Europe descend into civil war? Or will it be only in this country, or in that? Or will there be no open warfare but, rather, the death of a hundred thousand terrorist cuts, and the relentless demographic conquest from within, and an unstoppable stillicide of Muslim attacks on the indigenous peoples of Europe, too many of whom have given up having children, or are having very few, out of a lack of faith in the future?
In my hopeful moments, I think I see the signs of Europe coming to its senses, and willing not only to halt all further Muslim migration but also to find creative ways, through carrots and sticks artfully deployed, to cause a remigration of Muslims back to their countries of origin. I’m put in mind of Milton’s words in Areopagitica about a country — his own — waking from a deep sleep: “Methinks I see in my mind a noble and puissant nation rousing herself like a strong man after sleep, and shaking her invincible locks.” There is still time, just.

If you want an example of a ” True Hot War ” in Ukraine? Research the WW2 Battle of Kiev, and the Slaughter at Babi Yar. Then? Research what the Nazi Machine did to Ukraine, and later? What the Soviets did to Ukraine when they retook it. Let’s also revisit Stalin’s HOLODOMOR, in 1932.

Your idea that Russia has not invaded Ukraine and is not murdering civilians there is mistaken, as is the idea that this somehow only counts if NATO were to help Ukraine defend herself.
Then, the idea that NATO and the EU would be targting Kyiv makes no sense–why would they want to help Putin conquer Ukraine?
And the idea that Russia invading its unthreatning neighbors is fine so long as Putin dosn’t feel “cornered” by not being allowed to take the whole country makes no sense.
And I am well aware of what happened in Urkaine during the Holodomor and during WWII–Putin not being as “competent” in killing his neighbors is not really something to applaud, nor is he apt to stop save when his targeted victims have actually dared to fight back.

I think that if the Elites keep increasing the pressure with this illegal mass Islamic migration, as with any canister, it will explode at some point into a civil war that will expel Islam. As written, the men of Europe have been immasculated and disarmed. There are hopefully quiet dissenters who will rise up in spite of all the intimidation. It’s hard to believe when the left is arresting everyone from the right who has a chance to win, and there are minimal protests against this.
If one country falls to Islam and the massacres ensue, perhaps that will rally the rest.

I hope, old sparring partner, that you are wrong. Think of Great Britain, fighting alone against the Nazis in the fall of 1940, while the German tanks rolled through Europe. Or think of Israel in 1948, fending off five Arab armies, Or consider June 1967,when the IDF managed to defeat three Arab armies. Of course, the situation is much more insidious now: not open warfare, but terrorist attacks that supplement demographic conquest from within. Still, the West has powers of recuperation, as expressed in the quote from Milton I ended on. The task now is one of educating enough people in the Western world about Islam to not only withstand but to repel “peaceful” assault by the Believers..

Contrast the psychology of Zionist Jews in ’48, having just witnessed the Shoah, with steely determination to create a safe haven in the world for surviving Jews….with the aging, sclerotic, neutered, brainwashed populations of western Europe today. And just add the quote from the article, that today’s young Europeans never knew a time when their countries were homogenous and strife-free.

I think I agree w/ Andrea Widburg, much as I’d like not to. I don’t see any evidence of any European country (outside Poland, Hungary and maybe Slovakia) of popular support of anti-islamic parties. Italy may be an exception, but it depends on whether they’d be willing to walk out of the EU should Brussels try to penalize them for not bending over, like the other countries have

I have my doubts.
Any “right wing” protest is put down heavily by the State and folk are thrown into prisons run by Muslim gangs. There they face beatings and torment and one man committed suicide.
Having myself attended patriotic rallies and protest marches in the last ten months I can tell you that the attendees are mainly 50 years old and above.
The grey heads who are themselves the children of the TRULY British generation that fought for our freedom against the real Nazis.
These folk are still true to their salt and cut from the same cloth as their parents were.
Sadly they are a little long in the tooth for this fight.
These boots on the ground protesters are old and most of them are white. A few black folk amongst them – but virtually no Hindus or Sikh.
Where the hell are they? It is surely their fight too or have we been lied to that they are also British??
So it seems that the younger indigenous don’t care and the resident ethnic minorities are keeping out of it. Sorry to say this but from what I have seen of recent street protests it is sadly true.

It does not matter.
If there is a civl war, the European population even if it “wins” it will lose.
Why? Because it managed to remove one possible barbarian invader.
But all the other invaders that are here to remove their culture, to remove their countries will have an easier time.
A civil war in Europe would harm the already shrinking native population greatly. It would cause great casualties among them. It would greatly weaken the european nations. To the point that not necessarily islam but some others would come and eventually do the same thing.
We will see this with Ukraine. They lost a lot of their population a lot of “space” opened up for folks to move there.
The only thing a civil war would achieve is that likely instead of islam some other culture would take over Europe.

I don’t know enough about the period but it was a time of war and a threat of invasion. Wordsworth seemed to think English men were a feckless lot.

I agree that it appears lost. Italy has both the best hope in Western European of rousing patriots (Ireland, too, but it’s tiny) and the most precarious position without full backing, which it’s unlikely to get. The EU’s raison d’être of competing with and defeating the US lulled EU citizens into believing its future lay in that battle, one they were convinced they’d won before they began. Now that the reality of where they were actually headed has set in, so much has already gone and so many have bowed down (I include those who succumbed to zero population growth propaganda) that it’s difficult to maintain hope.
