Washington doesn’t recognize Easter or Yom Kippur as state holidays, but it does recognize two Islamic holidays

When we warned about Islamization, the establishment media called us racist, bigoted, “Islamophobes.” Islam was going to take its place in our secular mosaic, equal to all other faiths. And that is just what is happening, isn’t it?

“Washington 1st State To Recognize Islamic Holidays As State Holidays,” by Hank Berrien, Daily Wire, April 25, 2025:

The state of Washington, which does not officially recognize Easter or Yom Kippur as state holidays, became the first state in the nation to recognize the two Islamic holidays of Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha as unpaid state-recognized holidays when Democrat Governor Bob Ferguson signed the legislation into law this month.

“Senate Bill 5106, sponsored by Sen. Yasmin Trudeau (D-Tacoma), adds both Eid holidays to a list of 20 other state holidays. Rep. Osman Salahuddin (D-Redmond) sponsored the companion bill,” Ferguson’s website stated. “The new law does not establish Eid holidays as paid holidays, but rather adds them to the state’s list of recognized observances, similar to Lunar New Year or Billy Frank Jr. Day.”

“This bill is historic. Washington is now the first state to recognize Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha as state holidays,” Ferguson boasted on Facebook….

  1. Even FDR knew there was something screwy about Washington—he called it the Socialist Republic of Washington.

    Said state has been off-kilter since its inception as a state in 1889 and even before—going back earlier when it became a territory in 1853, At least with California it was a once sane state; Washington never has been. Been there once; don’t need to go back there again.

  2. The State Of Washington, cares more about Muslims than they do about Americans. An analogy, America is more in tune with Islam than it is with Jews and Christians. This country is moving backwards into a point of overwhelming immigrants and it’s allowing Muslims to lead the way into Sharia Law for America.

    Also, there are millions of Americans that don’t know crap about Islam and the dangers it presents to America, we have Muslims in government, education, industry, manufacturing, NFL, NBA, and they all have Americans brainwashed about how friendly the Islamic religion is/NOT. If they know 2-3 Muslims, the entire religion is peaceful.

    Will we be defeated because of our own stupidity?

      If I substituted the words “Washington, America and Americans” in your comment for ‘London Britain and British” all that you say would be equally true.

      We obviously have a smaller population than you but amongst us are about 5% Muslim (and growing rapidly ) and the daily change here is profound. They are gaining in power and control everyday. Even King 🇵🇰harles loves them and celebrated Iftar at Windsor.

    There was a reason we fought the spread of Islam for hundreds of years and the reason we kept them back was because we didn’t suffer from the niceties of politics but had a more robust way of dealing with them.

    • Eddie, In JW most will agree that UK is gasping for breath under the islamic seige. Islamists have been doing this for about 1500 years and I wonder why UK will be different. There are telltale signs of self-loathing, the disability to discern the good from the evil, living in Disney land (most world does) among the Brits today. Some lands that restricted islamization / genocide /islamic conquest, like India was luckily not politically correct as UK is today or for that matter West is today. It took 700 years to evict the scums from Spains and the islamic world is still licking the wounds of Spain’s loss and it is obvious as they keep referring to that. Such is the obsession of grabbing everything for their evil god.

      So, to come to your observation, I feel sorry for you if you are hurt. If you took it as a Truth it will be a blessing to your nation. BTW, I cannot stand your PM who looks so much below average in everything. How on earth did the system choose him to be a PM? Truely pathetic choice.       The main difference b/w the US and any other country is… 🥁🥁🥁🥁 the Second Amendment – our right to bear arms. Some other countries that had that, like Australia and Israel, no longer have it (which is one reason October 7th was such a success for Hamas). Here, if muslims dared try & rape someone’s kids, they’re likely to be confronted by that person, armed w/ his or her favorite firearm. That, rather than Trump or any politicians, will be the reason the US is unlikely to fold to islam

      Also, while I bear no malice towards Britain, the only time they, or more specifically England, fought islam, was during the Third Crusade. But after the union of England & Scotland (not that this is connected), Britain’s policy overseas was to have alliances of convenience w/ muslims wherever they could. The Great Game of the 19th century, for instance, immortalized by Rudyard Kipling, was Britain undergoing all sorts of political and military manouvers to keep Romanovsk Russia from expanding and gaining an outlet to the Arabian Sea. Then there was the Crimean War, where Britain & France supported the Ottoman Caliphate against Russia. Oh, and the pretext for that war – pushing back on the Romanovs’ attempts to represent the Christians of the Ottoman Empire (who, like the Russians, were Eastern Orthodox)

      In fact, I’d argue that Tsarist Russia did a better job combating islam than Britain did. Central Asia, in medieval times, – the real home of the Turks – was the place from where jihad conquests usually started, the most famous of them being Tamerlane. In the 19th century, in response to Kazakhs abducting Russian women & children on their frontiers and selling them in the slave markets of Buqhara and Xeva, the Russians invaded those emirates and conquered them, and it was in response to that that Britain started its Great Game manouvers

      So which of them did a better job? Russia occupied Turkistan, which had cities like Buqhara and Samarqand that were major dens of islam back in those days, and subdued them. Britain occupied India (including Pakistan), and pretty much left the muslims untouched. Today, cities like Lahore and Peshawar are dangerous for non-muslims from the West, while cities like Samarqand and Tashkent are cities that are perfectly safe for non muslims

      Only difference: British governments of that era made alliances w/ muslims (such as Thomas Edward Lawrence), but did not import them into Britain itself: they kept them away at arms length. Whereas after 9/11, Tony Blair fell in love w/ islam and decided to welcome them to prove President Bush’s idiotic point that most muslims are not terrorists, and they want the same things we do

  9. WE’D LIKE TO KNOW WHY THE McCARRON-WALTER ACT OF 1952 WAS REPEALED BY CONGRESS IN 1990
    Has anyone ever heard of the McCarran-Walter Act Of 1952? This ”selective immigration ban” had been “The Law Of The Land” for nearly 38 years and had been applied on occasions, by US Presidents. Known as the McCarran-Walter Act, or the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952, it allowed for the:

    Suspension of entry or imposition of restrictions by the President, whenever the President finds that the entry of aliens, or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States. The President may, by proclamation, and for such a period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens, or any class of aliens, immigrants, or non-immigrants, or impose any restrictions on the entry of aliens he may deem to be appropriate.

    Additionally, it is important to note that the McCarran-Walter Act also requires: “an applicant for immigration must be of good moral character and in agreement with the principles of our Constitution.” Therefore, WE THE PEOPLE of the United States Of America could surmise, since the Quran forbids Muslims to swear allegiance to the U.S. Constitution, then technically, ALL Muslims should, or could be refused the privilege of immigration to America – Right? WRONG!

    Who was president when this law was passed? Harry S. Truman (D). Who do you suppose used this law last? Jimmy Carter (D), no less than 37 years ago, in 1979, to keep Iranians out of the United States of America.

    Donald J. Trump has been savagely criticized for wanting to enforce the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952 by suggesting that the U.S.A. should limit, or temporarily suspend the immigration of certain ethnic groups, nationalities, and even people of certain religions (Muslims), until the US government could get a “handle” on the situation of Islamic immigration. Criticisms that said that Donald Trump was being un-American, dumb, stupid, reckless, dangerous and racist. Many Congressmen (of both houses) within his own GOP party swore that they would never allow such legislation!! Well, Surprise, Surprise, LIARS!! We the People found it!! Anyone can verify it: Just look up:

    I wonder how many American citizens knew that these sneaky, traitorous politicians pulled THIS off without us being aware that we were being sabotaged. QUIETLY repealed the McCarran Warner Act of 1952 forbidding “muslims” from holding office!! Members of that congress were Cheney, McCain (dead), Biden, Gore, Kerry, McConnell, Feinstein, Waters, Schumer, and Pelosi. See the agenda? The very same old treasonous traitor team was at work even way back then. They sure had some grandiose plan to sell us down the river, didn’t they?? For a government of, for, and by the people, we sure don’t have much say, do we? Our ”representatives” pull sneaky stuff behind our backs without notifying us and giving us a voice in what goes on. That has to stop!! Those named above are traitors, this we know. Those bastards had treason on their minds when they repealed this act. By repealing this Act completely, they were able to infiltrate so many muslims into our government, including congress, who want to ”change” us – our republic, and our Constitution.

    Why? For what purpose?? What else did they change that would hurt America? These are the very ones fighting so hard against the wall to protect our southern borders, also! They have also been trying their most devious tricks to make it possible to disarm us. They are trying to impeach our president, elected BY THE PEOPLE!! Again I ask – Why?? They seem to be doing everything in their power to leave Americans vulnerable and at risk. We need them out of our government now, and either in GITMO or hanged!

    We also need a White House petition telling President Trump WE’D LIKE TO KNOW WHY THE McCarron-WALTER ACT OF 1952 WAS REPEALED BY CONGRESS IN 1990. WE THE AMERICAN PEOPLE WANT IT REINSTATED IN ITS ORIGINAL WORDING – AND WE WANT IT ENFORCED!! MAGA!!

    • I think money and bribes from oil rich Arab states had/ has much to do with Islam in the USA.
      Consider the number of mosques and Islamic centers in the USA in 1950 compared to today.

    • You are completely correct. I have information too that I’ve been trying to get out for more than two plus years. We need to talk but how do I reach you? This is always the problem. Instead of there being someone, anyone with some type of platform that can pass critical information to… there is nothing and no one. If you can figure out a way to reach me, great. Maybe someone knows a way that I’m not aware of.

I knew we were in trouble when, after 9/11, the Day Runner and Day Planner agenda pages started including at least 10 Muslim holy days on their pages – including several that honour their warlord terrorist leader Mohammed. No Bhuddist holy days, no Hindu holy days, no Shinto holy days. The pages do indeed include some Christian and Jewish holy days, but the sheer number of Muslim observances on my Day Planner pages show how intimidated the company must have felt.

  14. I swear I’m in one of the few states that has some relative sanity (Montana). I won’t even visit Washington; and of course, it was a two muslim democrats that introduced the bill for the holidays.

  15. I’m utterly surprised that the American people (not the blasted inbred muslims) are accepting this and are not standing up. Are they waiting till it’ll be too late. Patriotic Americans need to stand up now and hit back hard. The US and State governments need to STOP this now.
