If he is telling the truth, that is terrible indeed. No Muslims should be subjected to random attacks on the street. No innocent Muslims should be the victims of vigilante attacks or harassment from thugs. Is Starmer, however, ignoring a far greater problem of jihad violence and the imminent collapse of Britain and imposition of Sharia there? Why, yes, he is.

  8. I expect useful idiots aplenty abound, but what I have traditionally not expected is that the Prime Minister of the UK would be a useful idiot. Well, the UK has one now.

    And on a more expansive note, a civil war occurred in England when Charles I attempted to usurp traditional English liberties by way of his personal rule (1629-1640) et al. Well, perhaps it is time for a new civil war in England, in the UK at large, because the present powers that be, like Starmer, are arguably doing even greater harm to the cause of liberty that Charles I ever did.

    So, here’s a query: Is there another Oliver Cromwell out there, who will risk everything, including his own life, even having to become the most reluctant dictator in history (hopefully it will not come to this again), to save his beloved island from itself? Verdict still out; times indeed are quite fluid.

    And I would add this for the purpose of historical perspective, to wit, Abraham Lincoln is the closest person in American history to being a dictator (and thank God it was Abraham Lincoln, my choice for the single greatest American of all time) but, as Lincoln himself said, when chastised by Chief Justice Roger Taney (and many others) for taking the measures that he did (e.g., suspending habeas corpus in a border state like Kentucky), what good does it do to save the Constitution but lose the nation?
