UK slams Israel for barring two anti-Israel MPs from entering the country

Israel is at war with jihadists who seek to do harm to its citizens and ultimately obliterate it. Israel is being prudent in blocking any foreign leaders whose intent is to strengthen Israel’s enemies and weaken the state of Israel. What is most surprising is that Abtisam Mohamed and Yuan Yang expected to be welcomed into the State of Israel, when all they intended to do was to stir up trouble.

UK Foreign Minister David Lammy said: “It is unacceptable, counterproductive and deeply concerning that two British MPs on a parliamentary delegation to Israel have been detained and refused entry by the Israeli authorities.”

It is actually “unacceptable, counterproductive and deeply concerning that two British MPs” would show up in Israel calling for boycotts and spreading “hateful rhetoric” against the Jewish state.

Yang and Mohamed were not “targeted” for their views, as they claim in their statement. Israel has no obligation during a time of war to allow in two hostile MP’s who are using their positions of authority to spread anti-Israel rhetoric, which would serve to empower Hamas and other jihadists, including Iran.

The UK also should look to itself, as it has barred numerous foes of jihad violence and Sharia oppression, including Robert Spencer, from entering the country.

Britain’s top diplomat condemns Israel’s decision to bar entry to two UK lawmakers after questioning at Ben Gurion Airport.

The Labour Party MPs, Abtisam Mohamed and Yuan Yang, were barred entry after questioning revealed that the purpose of their visit was “to document Israeli security forces and spread hateful rhetoric against Israel,” the population authority has said.

“It is unacceptable, counterproductive and deeply concerning that two British MPs on a parliamentary delegation to Israel have been detained and refused entry by the Israeli authorities,” UK Foreign Minister David Lammy says in a statement.

“I have made clear to my counterparts in the Israeli government that this is no way to treat British parliamentarians, and we have been in contact with both MPs tonight to offer our support,” Lammy continues.

“The UK government’s focus remains securing a return to the ceasefire and negotiations to stop the bloodshed, free the hostages and end the conflict in Gaza,” he further adds.

Mohamed and Yang landed in Israel at 2:30 p.m. Saturday on a flight from Luton, England, along with two of their aides.

While being interrogated, the two MPs — who both call for boycotting Israel — claimed to arrive as part of an official delegation on behalf of the UK parliament, but the claim was found to be false…..

  2. On behalf of the sensible ordinary folk of Great Britain we apologise to Israel and ask you to please imprison these two skunks and not send them back here.
    If the IDF could also find a way to get it’s jets makes targeted strikes on Downing Street and areas of certain towns and cities that would do us all a big favour.

      Perhaps Israel should have let these two skunks come into the country – and then detained them indefinitely.

      • Or trade them for the remaining hostages from Oct 7 ,let England deal with Hamas holding these fine representatives of England.

      • Or better yet, let them in, then send them to Gaza, and then run a bombing operation that eviscerates them along w/ Gazan “civilians”

  3. Those two goons, along with the mayor of Londistan, are the face of the U.K. What an ugly face it is.

    These scum feel entitled to go wherever they wish; and those in agreement, demand that Israel acquiesce and allow the scum to enter their nation.
    Israel is at war with mozlums; it would be foolish, and dangerous, to allow any mozlum to enter their nation, whatever the *pretense* offered for the *visit.*

  4. So, these MPs were lying by telling the Israelis that they were there on official business. And I’m sure that these MPs support Britain’s ban on Robert Spencer and Pamela Geller (and others) from entering the country solely because they have anti-Muslim blogs and websites, even though none advocates violence. I’m sure that both would have spent a reasonable amount of money in Britain and contributed to the economy. Even Menachem Begin (former prime minister of Israel) was on the ban list.

    I’m happy that Israel let these two jokers pack their suitcases, board a plane and make the trip only to be turned back at the airport. Good riddance! History will show that they opted to be on the wrong side of the Israel-“Palestine” controversy.

    • My only “disagreement” w/ what Israel did:

      ⮞ Israel should make it mandatory for anybody from Europe to have a visa to visit Israel
      ⮞ Those visas should be approved/declined by the US embassy/consulate in the host country

      That way, these MPs need not have flown (at public expense) to Ben Gurion Airport, but would have known that their visa application was rejected in London itself. Before they ever embarked on that trip

  8. Israel is in a state of war with enemies who are viewed in very friendly manner by Abtisam Mohamed and Yuan Yang who are quite open and frank about the purpose of their visit to Israel. These two MP’s are trying to enter Israel as enemies of Israel and are looking forward to spreading anti-Israel propaganda before, during and after their intended visit. In a state of war, any nation can refuse the entry of people who have demonstrated hostility towards the state of Israel and a favorable view of those who Israel is presently at war with. The stupidity of England is astounding.

      • Once upon a time, they colonized countries in Asia and Africa that had nothing to do w/ them. Now a days, they’re reverse-colonizing Britain w/ people from those continents who have nothing to do w/ them

        I know that despite being an island, they were invaded by the Romans, Vikings and Normans (not sure how native the Angles, Saxons and Jutes were to the island). Still, they’d have done well to restrict their military conquest adventures to Europe, like they did in the Middle Ages. It started going bad after England and Scotland united under King James

  9. By the way, would England have allowed members of Nazi or far right organizations of third party nations who have expressed pro-German views during 1940 to enter England and conduct anti-England propaganda tours who would then report to their German friends?

    • Actually, as a sovereign country, Britain is well within its rights to ban anyone they feel like. In fact, they have – Robert Spencer (as Christine mentioned above), Pamela Gellar, David Wood…. It doesn’t even have to be for any reason. No foreigner has an automatic right to a visa to Britain

      Same right applies to Israel. They could even ban David Lammy, not just the 2 MPs above. In fact, there are a lot of British politicians who should be persona non grata in a lot of countries

      • UK also banned conservative American commentator Michael Savage from entering the country as Dr. Savage called attention to the dangers of Islime decades ago on his radio show, “The Savage Nation”, which may now be seen on Newsmax TV. I have followed his shows for 40 years and he saw the future as no other American commentators did.

  10. During President Trump’s first term, Leftists in Britain and everywhere else got to see what sort of a tolerance Israel had for legislators who supported the BDS movement. At the time, the 2 Congress muslimahs – Ilhan & Rashida – were denied entry b’cos of their refusal to distance themselves from BDS. Difference then – since they were from the opposition, Trump pretty much endorsed Israel’s decision not to allow them in, mocking Rashida Tlaib by saying that her grandma was the winner in all that bcos she didn’t have to see her 😈

    So in this case, if Yuan Yang and Abtisam Mohamed really wanted to visit Israel, they should have disavowed any support for BDS. Incidentally, I can get why Abtisam Mohamed is such a supporter of BDS. What is Yuan Yang’s excuse? She would find herself perfectly at home in the Chinese Communist party

  11. What a hypocrisy, didn’t UK ban Mr Robert Spencer from entering UK? Israel ban the two British MPs for their anti-Israel view, while Mr Spencer is not anti-UK,

  13. The UK shouldn’t be slamming anyone else, there are native Bnts in jail for tweeting they don’t want an Islamic invasion. Starmer has the nerve to say there is still free speech there. The UK is a disgrace.
