According to a new Harvard CAPS/Harris poll, almost two-thirds of Americans support the deportation of non-citizen students who show support for ”internationally recognized terrorist groups.” 63 percent want those who “voice support” to be deported; 67% want those who “actively support” terrorists to be deported. The responses differ by party. 84% of Republicans support deportation of such people as Mahmoud Khalil, who “actively supports” Hamas, and 83% of Republicans would support deporting Rumeysa Öztürk, who has “voiced support” for terrorists. But a different picture is painted when we look at the responses of Democrats.
The Democrats are morally muddled: some have held onto their wits and seen their way clear to supporting such deportations, but about half of them still think that holders of green cards should be allowed to stay, even if they “actively support” terrorist groups such as Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. About two-thirds of the American people support the deportation of non-citizen students, such as Mahmoud Khalil, who indicate support for internationally recognized terrorist groups, according to a new Harvard CAPS/Harris poll.
The poll — conducted from March 26-27 among registered US voters — was released amid ongoing furor over the Trump administration’s sweeping arrests and detainments of non-citizen students who have allegedly expressed support for terrorist organizations, primarily Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon, and in many cases participated in raucous, often destructive and unsanctioned anti-Israel demonstrations on university campuses.
According to the newly released data, most Americans, 63 percent, believe that the Trump administration should “deport” foreign students who “voice support” for terrorist groups like Hamas, while a slightly higher 67 percent want such deportations for non-citizens on campuses who “actively support” such terrorist groups. About one-third of voters in each case said they believe the students should stay in the US….
However, a striking 69 percent of respondents in the Harvard CAPS/Harris poll said the federal government should “have the authority to revoke the green card of a permanent legal resident and deport them if it can prove that such a person actively supported a terrorist organization like Hamas.” By comparison, 31 percent said the government should not have such authority….
Almost 70% of those responding believe that the federal government has the authority to revoke the green card of legal residents and to deport them, if they “actively support” a terrorist group. A single brief message on social media would not be “active support” but repeated messaging, and expressing support for, or taking part in, a “disruptive student protest” would be.
In contrast, only 42 percent of Democrats said they endorse deportation for foreign students who voice support for terrorist groups, compared to 58 percent who want them to stay on US spoil. Meanwhile, a slight majority, 51 percent, indicated the government should deport those who “actively support” such extremist organizations, while 49 percent oppose deportation in such circumstances….
What a great and disturbing divide between the parties: while 83% of Republicans would want foreign students to be deported if they voice support for terrorist groups, just about half that number — 42% — of Democrats would deport them for the same behavior; 58% would let them stay. When it comes to foreign students who “actively support” terrorist organizations, only 51% of Democrats would deport them, while 49% would let them stay.
If you thought — perhaps because you have been getting your news from the New York Times or the Washington Post — that there was little enthusiasm for deporting these foreign students who support terrorist groups, think again. The latest poll shows that two-thirds of Americans support such deportations. And if you thought there would be little difference between the parties, look again at the figures in the latest poll and mind the gap: 83% of Republicans want those who “voice support” for terrorism deported, while only 42% of Democrats do. That is a staggering difference. The Democratic Party, once the party of Harry Truman and Henry Jackson, is being taken over by the Old Left of Bernie Sanders and the New Left of the Squadroons. Remember that, the next time you are casting your ballot at a polling station.

If they “support” terrorism, terror, terror groups, then they don’t support freedom of speech, freedom of thought, conscience, or the freedom to live.
Terrorism is committed against the public in order to force governments to change policy. Murdering, stealing, destroying, what others own, should not be rewarded.
These foreign “students”….as Mr. Rubio has said….come here pretending to want to study and learn. If they don’t want to study things other than terror, and learn how to manipulate the Laws to their advantage, they shouldn’t be here.
The simple fact is: if one supports terror or organizations made for terror, then that makes the one a terrorist.

Of course foreign students who support terrorist groups should be deported. They are like a cancer in a society. For months Canadian cities like Toronto and Montreal have mostly newly arrived Muslims – who live on government hand-outs at taxpayer expense – are roaming these cities disrupting their city life, being violent, trumpeting their usual Muslim Jew-hatred, have fired bullets into a Jewish school and burned Jewish school buses, and still it continues. Why? Because the authorities, politicians and police are a cowardly lot, too paralyzed to round up these people and deport them. We can be absolutely certain that the continuing demonstration are being orchestrated by individuals who recognized the weakness of the authorities.
These Muslim lunatics are demonstrating for Israel’s destruction – a mindlessly stupid proposition over which Canada’s no control And they are protesting Gaza’s destruction, Israel’s response to Muslim barbarism and which these demonstrators don’t understand because their morals are zero. The Canadian flag has been burned. Why? We are allowing countries like China to freely access our education and technology only to use this knowledge against us. Foreign students are a net negative anyways for everyone except the colleges.

Foreign students, when they come here, know that they are able to come here as a ‘privilege’.
They also sign statements that they are coming here to study and not be involved with politics or protest in, what amount to political and/or foreign policy protests. They also get vetted on whether they or their family supports terrorism or terrorist groups.
They know that if they break our laws they can be deported. They know that if they break a university’s code of student/staff conduct, they can be expelled and that would probably lead to deportation. Most universities have policies on hate speech, discrimination against other students, etc. The problem is that our universities are not enforcing these codes of student/staff conduct.
We have the right to protest…’peacefully’. He moment it becomes destructive, or violent in any form…it is no longer a ‘right’.
Free speech is also a ‘right’, but you are responsible and accountable for what you say along with your actions. The moment your actions negatively affect others or your speech incites destruction or violence in any form…again, it is no longer a right and you become accountable.
Personally, I think any foreign student who protests against the U.S. or any of its allies or engages in hate speech or physical actions…should have their visa revoked, permanently and be deported with a permanent ‘persona non grata’ attached as they evidentially did not come here to study.
The same should apply to any foreign teacher or professor who is here on a visa for their employment.

The federal government makes policy on immigration ,visas and green cards .If the Senate or and Congress want to pass bills to set rules or changes and the President does not veto them they become “federal law” .Most democrats in Congress and the Senate will not stick their collected necks out to support a non-citizen right to violently threat citizens on campus ,they will only make noise about what some progressive judge appointed for life in DC or NYC objected to kicking out a violent non-citizen threating citizens on campus.;This is just a stupid game to make violent non-citizens here in America on students visas the victims for having to obey our laws it has nothing to do with freedom of speech for American citizens.

Coming into America on a foreign student visa is a privilege not a right. If you are here as a Foreign Student you are expected to follow our laws and rules of conduct while you are here. If not the Government that issued that Visa has the right to send you home if you violate are laws, or conduct anti – American demonstration.
A judge should NOT be involved in this process, these are NOT American citizens they and are here as guest of our Governments and should have their visas cancelled for anti American actions or crimes.
