Pope Francis, who justified the murders of the Charlie Hebdo cartoonists, is dead

In 2016, Pope Francis declared that someone who built a border wall was “not a Christian.” In Feb. 2025, he sent a letter to the U.S. bishops, excoriating Trump for securing America’s southern border. He repeatedly insisted that welcoming any and all migrants was a Christian duty, and rejected “any measure that tacitly or explicitly identifies the illegal status of some migrants with criminality.”

The pope worked hard also to build bridges with the international Islamic community, downplaying Islamic jihad terrorism, ignoring the rampant Muslim persecution of Christians in the Middle East and Africa, and even obliquely justifying the 2015 murders of cartoonists of the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo who had lampooned the Islamic prophet Muhammad. Francis said that “it is true that you must not react violently, but although we are good friends, if [an aide] says a curse word against my mother, he can expect a punch, it’s normal. You can’t make a toy out of the religions of others. These people provoke and then (something can happen). In freedom of expression, there are limits.” This was, in essence, a submission to Islam’s blasphemy laws which would, if followed, mean the end of free societies.

U.S. Vice President JD Vance had just met with the pope on Sunday.

“I just learned of the passing of Pope Francis. My heart goes out to the millions of Christians all over the world who loved him. I was happy to see him yesterday, though he was obviously very ill. But I’ll always remember him for the below homily he gave in the very early days of COVID. It was really quite beautiful. May God rest his soul,” Vance said early Monday morning in a post on X.

The pope preached frequently on the Catholic virtues of mercy, kindness and humility. He did not shy away from controversy, and American presidents, including Donald Trump and Joe Biden, were not immune from his views….

He was a useful idiot that secular leftwing governments and media organizations would routinely employ as foil when smearing opponents of muslim aggression as “Islamaphobic”, or to blunt support of national sovereignty. Ultimately, only God will judge Francis as he will judge us all. May he rest in peace.

  4. I wonder whether the next pope will be as woke as well, or whether the Vatican elders have learnt their lesson and will this time elect a more traditional, Catholic pope? Also, don’t use DEI to balance out continents or countries: just select the best person for the job

    • My pet theory is that the Catholic Church appointed Francis prior to Benedict dying because the latter was a defender of western renaissance culture, along with delving a little too close in the corruption plaguing the Vatican. The 2nd and 3rd world are the only areas on the planet where the Church is witnessing any growth, so appointing Francis was a nod to that reality. But even more importantly, he was a dunce, especially compared to the last two former Popes. Therefore, he could be managed by the Vatican rather easily. As an American, I liken Francis to Joe Biden; A dumb puppet installed to do the bidding of the bureaucracy. Expect the Church to find another Marxist puppet to replace Francis in short order.

      • I don’t know about Africa, but Latin America is the only place where the Roman Catholic church is strong. Every Catholic country of Europe – from Portugal to Austria – has gone secular, so the only majority Catholic countries still relatively observant are Mexico and everybody south of it. It’s probably why one was chosen from there

        That said, people in those countries would be more likely to take more pride in their homegrown faiths rather than one imported from Europe. Just let the Catholic church pick the most suitable candidate regardless of his national origin

    • Francis appointed a lot of cardinals, and it seemed that under Francis homosexual was a prerequisite to be a cardinal. Perhaps a Catholic will be elected pope, but the numbers don’t look good.

    • Francis filled the College of Cardinals with lefties like himself, so the upcoming election of anyone who intends to walk a different path to the late Pope, appears statistically unlikely.

    • The contrast between Pope John Paul II and Francis is beyond striking in so many respects. The former literally put his life on the line calling out communism for the evil that it was (and remains). Francis usually couldn’t even be bothered to even speak a few words on behalf of his fellow Christians being persecuted across the planet. And on the rare occasions when he managed to do so, his message was always couched with calls for ending “Islamaphobia” and the violence in the Holy Land. But Francis could always be counted on for lauding the virtues of cultural Marxism, his true religion.

  7. The installation of Francis supplanting Benedict was part of a color revolution orchestrated by the Obama administration. Benedict was too unyielding on Islamic aggression and against globalist demands for depopulation. US covert operations shutting down the Vatican Bank forced Benedict to resign. I have no doubt that if the Catholic Church survives another 200 years at some point Francis will be blacklisted as an anti-Pope.

        Jesus said to the Pharisees, “How are you to flee from the Judgment of Gehenna?”

        There is a punishment for doing evil. It is not a “threat” to tell someone this fact. It is a *warning* and Christians are obliged by God to say so. Just as Ezekiel was told to warn and what would happen to him if he did not do so.

        • There are the verses which say that “the spirit returns to the God Who gave it.” Meaning the spirit of life, or the “breath of life” God gave to Adam.
          The “spirit” and the “soul” are not the same. The Bible speaks of “dead souls” and “all the souls in the seas.”

        • In the Catholic domain, all living things have souls. Of the mortal beings, only humans have spirits. When a human is created, the spirit assumes the soul of a human being to form a spiritual soul (Catholic dogma).

          For more clarity, the soul contain passions and appetites which is why inherit the appetites from our parents. Our soul comes from our parents through the DNA.

          Our spirit is the indelible parts of our being such as our personality, sexuality, and so forth. The spirit forms rational thoughts inside all parts of our being. The person can choose to listen to those thoughts or reject them for the sake of immediate gratification. No neural network has ever become rational, because they must be programmed from the outside, but our neurons our programmed from the inside by our spirit, but that doesn’t violate our free will (the soul and body still have a say).

          The spirit comes from God, Himself. So every rational being has an intimate relationship with God regardless of whether it is recognized. But only those who live the relationship are saved. Those who reject it, go to Hell which is a necessity if humans are autonomous (free will).

    • According to Gemini Pro AI, Francis appointed 110 of the 140 cardinals eligible to vote in the papal enclave. Fools with power usually surround themselves with like-minded fools. So, the odds of a succeeding pope disparate in ideology may be low. I’m hoping for one of those African cardinals on the front lines of the Jihad carnage.

No tolerance for Islam and no quarter for Ummah. More than any single man on Earth, he has the power and influence to change the course of the war, and in a single global televised address speaking truth of Islam, could rally Kafirs on the offense to destroy it.

        • I’ll tell you, I’ve been having a lot of fun in my spare time lately with FPV (first person view) quads (4-prop drones) and RCs (airplanes). Flying them around low-level, 100 kts+, looking through the camera in the cockpit, like a 3-inch tall pilot. Nearly as much fun as flying airplanes or BASE jumping with wingsuits, but a whole lot less expensive and dangerous. You can get a real nice rig (aircraft, controller, goggles) for under $1000. Then, rather than spending hundreds per hour in AvGas and maintenence, the cost per flying hour is ZERO.

        I always remember Jesus’ reaction when a young woman, considered “unclean” according The Law, touched Him.
        He didn’t slap or even reprove her; but He spoke kindly to her and He then healed her.

  12. Pope Francis had actually said the fool statement that “All religions are paths to God” he was, indeed, speaking in contrast to the teachings of Jesus found John 14:6. In which He declared” I am the way the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father expect by Me.”

    The Pope’s claim is also proven by false because taught about entering heaven. For Jesus taught “Enter into the narrow gate for wide is the gate and broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and diffident is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. ” Matthew 7 :13,14 .[N K.J.V.]

    If what the Pope said was true than his utterance about “All religions are paths to God.” would not have been contradiction to the Wisdom and Truth of what Jesus taught.

    What the Pope said in view of the Bible, which informs its reader “To the law and the testimony ! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in then.” Isaiah 8:20. It may be concluded; in spite of the strong favorable emotions that many people feel for him, Pope Francis must be a false teacher who has no spiritual light in him .at all.

    In addition, it’s very important to define and understand words, especially words contained in the Bible. When Jesus used that word “destruction” in Matthew 7:13, that words doesn’t means” destruction of being” but ” destruction of well-being.” As in when Jesus preached about the terrible suffering of man who continues to exist in hell. Luke 16:19-24.

  13. Pope Francis is very wrong and in terrible error when he said that the Qur ‘an , and the Bible are the same.

    For example, the Quran in 112 teaches “He is God alone: God is the eternal begetteth not…” Likewise, this religious book which is the entire foundation of and for Islam further teaches in 19:35. “It is not befitting to God that He should beget a son.”

    In great contrast, the Bible teaches in John 1:14. “The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory , the glory of the only begotten of the Father ,full of grace and truth.” Likewise John 3:16 teaches “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son… Then just a little further in verse 18 it is written about Jesus Who is “the only begotten Son of God. “ Other places in the Bible further teach that Jesus is the Son of God as in Matthew 16:15:16. Luke 1:35. John 3:36. First John 4:14. 15. 5:14,15.

    Moreover, to be even more clear the Bible teaches that Jesus is the Son of God, Who is God the Father. As found in Matthew 3:16,17. First John 2:22,23. 4:14,15. Of course , it ,very much, needs to made even more specific . The Bible teaches that Jesus is also God the Son. As seen in Hebrew 1:8 and First John 5:20.

    The imams and mullahs as well as the other apologists for Islam will try to “explain” this all away. As in they will try brush off all those Bible verse off by making the claim that the Bible had been corrupted, through time, by Christians and that’s why the Bible reads as it does. That claim they make actually underestimate the Power of God to protect and keep His Word safe and intact ,through time, and away from the corruption of men.

    In conclusion ,with the above instruction of the way to find doctrinal truth in Isaiah 8:20 and in the light of the Bible verse provided it may be clearly seen, by all those who are willing to see, that Islam is in terrible doctrinal error and it is therefore ,Islam a false religion, Proverbs 14:12. John 14:6.

I am as a Catholic are embarrassed how this Pope has excused the treatment of Christians in Africa at the hands of Islamic jihadist and in China at the hands of communist ,but I did not see any Protestant leaders filling the void of the Popes inactions .All Christian leaders are failing in not even giving verbal defense to Christians being punished for following their faith in the 21 century.

    I do not relish his having died, but the pontiff saying it is “normal” to mass slaughter people for criticizing an idology or drawing cartoons is just grotesque. (and mass murder is is worse than punching someone, but he does not appear to have noticed this). And was he saying that it is not allowed to criticize someone if they are someone’s mother–even if they are a mass murderer? Seems like it…not very Christian…

  17. Pope Francis with the idea that he kept pushing of the countries of Western Europe of taking in a mass immigration of unvetted Muslims from Islamic nations was both dangerous and reckless.

    What’s that was very for him to push for such a policy ,since he lived in his papal palace in vatican city with is surrounded by tall thick walls and with in the Vatican has its own police and the Swiss guards , Likewise , there are ,no doubt , hidden camera’s stationed that City ,watched personal security in Vatican City .

    In contrast , the native people of those European countries have no such safeguards from Muslim terrorists. As seen for example, the many murders in the cities and towns of France.

    He said more muslims should come into Europe while he lived behind a massive wall built centuries ago to keep out the islamic warriors.
