“For years, we have pleaded for help. How many more lives must be lost before the government takes meaningful action?”
Once again, we see the Nigerian government either unable or unwilling to stop the Islamic jihadis who are active all over the country.
“Islamic Extremists Kill 4 Christians,” International Christian Concern, March 27, 2025:
3/27/2025 Nigeria (International Christian Concern) — The peaceful Irigwe community in Bassa County, Plateau state, has been rocked by two devastating attacks in less than 24 hours, claiming the lives of four individuals.
This latest wave of brutality shows the ongoing insecurity faced by Christian farming communities, increasingly targeted by Fulani militias in the region.
On the evening of March 23, a gruesome ambush unfolded as three men made their way home from Kwall. The victims have been identified as John Avia, 48; Sunday Vickson, 32; and Peter Vickson, 30….
A local elder, who chose to remain anonymous for fear of retaliation, voiced the community’s anguish: “For years, we have pleaded for help,” he said. “How many more lives must be lost before the government takes meaningful action?”

To be clear, I was referring to the International Christian Concern article’s headline. The JW headline was quite appropriate.

The American government should be sending arms to Nigeria, to be distributed to Christian villagers so they can organize self-defense units. Right now they are sitting ducks, and the Nigerian army appears unable, or unwilling — many of its soldiers are Muslims –to protect them. . It is crazy to allow these Muslim massacres to go on, unopposed, while the Western world pays so little attention to the plight of these and other Christians persecuted and murdered by Muslims. Instead it, focusses on the non-existent “genocide’ in Gaza, and not on the real slow-motion genocide in Nigeria.

I might be wrong, but it might be “illegal” for ordinary citizens in Nigeria to have guns of any type.
Also, again I might be mistaken, but I believe that in 2014, the Obama-Biden Administration supported the opponent to incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan, going so far as to have a high level Obama campaign official run the opponent’s campaign. This opponent, who is of the Fulani (terrorists) tribe became the current Nigerian president, with no interest or intention of curbing this genocide against Christians in Nigeria.

Goodluck Jonathan was Nigeria’s president till 2015. That year he hired a couple of hundred South African mercenaries to deal with Boko Haram and the Fulani Tribesmen. They did a super job that far exceeded what the entire Nigerian army had failed to achieve in 6 years. And they took no prisoners, just hunted down and herded into ‘kill blocks’ where waiting mercenaries did just that.
Upon departing Nigeria the head mercenary said that in time the Muslim savages would regroup and return and they did. Meanwhile Barack Obama got involved in getting a Muslim elected president, so, no more mercenaries, just carnage.

The ‘government’ isn’t going to do anything to stop the slaughter, because the members of the ‘government’ are mozlums. They are just fine with the rapes, kidnappings, destruction and thefts and the many thousands of murders.
