Shi’ite Islam, like Sunni Islam, prescribes the death penalty for apostasy:
Shaykh al-Kulayni narrates a sahíh (correct) hadith from `Ammãr as-Sãbãti who said: I heard (Imam) Abu `Abdullãh (as-Sãdiq) (a.s.) saying, “A Muslim from among the Muslims who renounces Islam and rejects the prophethood of Muhammad and considers him untrue, then verily his blood is lawful (mubãh) for anyone who hears that from him, his wife is to be separated from him the day he became murtad [apostate], his wealth will be divided among his heirs, and his wife will observe the `idda of a widow (i.e., four months). The Imam is obliged to kill him, and not ask him to seek forgiveness.” (Furu al-Kãfi, vol. 7, p. 257)
The Islamic Republic of Iran might not carry out this sentence in the absence of the Imam, but they’re not likely to be lenient and kind to the converts, either.
“Brothers sentenced to four years in prison, fined and exiled,” Article 18, March 31, 2025:
Two brothers who were arrested at a Christmas gathering over three years ago have both been sentenced to four years in prison, fined, and exiled from their home province for two years after their release.
Christian converts Mahmoud Mardani-Kharaji, 56, and his brother Mansour, who will turn 50 in April, were convicted under the amended Article 500 of the penal code, which criminalises “deviant propaganda activities contrary to the holy religion of Islam”.
On top of the prison sentences, the brothers were fined 150 million tomans each (around $1,500), banned from membership of any groups for five years after their release, and told they must spend the first two of those years outside the bounds of their home province of Isfahan.
Two other Christians who were arrested alongside the brothers and who cannot be named were also present at the trial in January and previous court hearing in November 2024, but the charges against them were dropped.
The reason the charges were dropped remains unclear, but Christian converts are routinely pressured to recant their faith or sign commitments to refrain from any further involvement in Christian activities….

The severe and vicious harassment by the Muslim officials of the Islamic regime of Iran against those two Christian be brothers who turned away for Islam and converted to Jesus and is because those oppressive and intolerant ayatollahs and mullahs who have so much power in that tyrannical Islamic regime of Iran and so they put this Christian woman prison because of they’re afraid that if the Iranian people would even hear the Bible read or start to compare and contrast the Bible with Quran the people of Iran might start to view the Bible and the superior of those two different books.
Since, that Islamic tyranny is based on Islam and it’s Sharia which have their total foundation on the Quran is could be a threat to those in power in Iran if the people did discover that the Bible is ,indeed, better and superior to that “holy book” of Islam.
Therefore those Muslim clerics along with other Muslim tyrants do have “security concerns” when it comes to Christians making known the Bible to the people of Iran.
As a result ,of this to maintain power , those ayatollahs and mullahs of Iran to everything they can , as cruel as they are , to keep the people of Iran in the bondage of the ignorant and darkness of Islam and away from the Light of Bible based Christianity.
It therefore will on the future Day of Judgement, u God, Romans 14:12. , a time of desolation and sorrow for those Muslim clerics who do everything, they can to keep the people of Iran in the darkness of Islam and away from the light of the Bible and Christianity.

The way for a person to discover the truth concerning the nature of Jesus is found in the Bible verse Isaiah 8:20. This instructs “To the law of the testimony. If they do not speak according to the word, it is because there is no light in them.” [N.K.J.V.]
In other words, if a religious teacher has teaching that are in contradiction to the Word, the Bible, then that teachers is a false teacher who teaches false doctrines. The Muslim clerics, as the imam and mullahs, teach and speak doctrines about God from the Quran .
As the Quran in 112 teaches “He is God alone: God is the eternal begetteth not…” Likewise, this religious book which is the entire foundation of and for Islam further teaches in 19:35. “It is not befitting to God that He should beget a son.” In great contrast the Bible teaches in John 1:14. “The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory , the glory of the only begotten of the Father ,full of grace and truth.” Likewise John 3:16 teaches “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son… Then just a little further in verse 18 it is written about Jesus Who is “the only begotten Son of God. “ Other places in the Bible further teach that Jesus is the Son of God as in Matthew 16:15:16. Luke 1:35. John 3:36. First John 4:14. 15. 5:14,15.
Moreover, to be even more clear the Bible teaches that Jesus is the Son of God, Who is God the Father. As found in Matthew 3:16,17. First John 2:22,23. 4:14,15. Of course , it ,very much, needs to made even more specific . The Bible teaches that Jesus is also God the Son. As seen in Hebrew 1:8 and First John 5:20.
The ayatollahs, mullahs and imams of Iran as well as the other apologists for Islam will try to “explain” this all away. As in they will try brush off all those Bible verse off by making the claim that the Bible had been corrupted, through time, by Christians and that’s why the Bible reads as it does. That claim they make actually underestimate the Power of God to protect and keep His Word safe and intact ,through time, and away from the corruption of men.
In conclusion ,with the above instruction of the way to find doctrinal truth in Isaiah 8:20 and in the light of the Bible verse provided it may be clearly seen, by all those who are willing to see, that Islam is in terrible doctrinal error and it is therefore a false religion, Proverbs 14:12. John 14:6.
