In January, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi visited Qatar to meet with leaders of the Iran-backed terror group Hamas. His mission was to “to hail the victory of the Palestinian people through 16 months of legendary resistance” in Gaza. Iran and “diplomacy” in any genuine sense simply do not go together. Iran is a violent, jihadist regime and should be dealt with accordingly. Iran expert and senior fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, Behnam Ben Taleblu, advises:
The president should be making the regime sweat, pure and simple….This can be done with strict enforcement of maximum pressure sanctions, and a targeted campaign against regime assets in the region.
Meanwhile, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz has revealed an intelligence document “found in the tunnels of senior Hamas officials in Gaza,” showing that “Hamas leaders Yahya Sinwar and Muhammad Deif had sent a letter to Iran’s IRGC Quds Force commander Esmail Qaani in June 2021, seeking support for the terror group’s plans to invade Israel, which were ultimately carried out on October 7, 2023.”
The document also reveals that Hamas leaders asked “the commander of the [Islamic] Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Quds Force to transfer $500 million for destroying the State of Israel.”
Iran’s Ayatollah Khamenei has “put the Iranian military on full alert amid US demands that the Islamic Republic negotiate over a nuclear deal.”
Iran must not be allowed to acquire or use a nuclear weapon on Israel or US interests. Only maximum pressure will stymie the regime.

After rejecting the idea of direct talks with the United States, Iran says it is willing to enter indirect negotiations.
“We remain committed to diplomacy and are ready to try the path of indirect negotiations,” says Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.
“Iran keeps itself prepared for all possible or probable events, and just as it is serious in diplomacy and negotiations, it will also be decisive and serious in defending its national interests and sovereignty,” Araghchi says..…

Only unleashing the B-2 bombers to completely take out Iran’s nuclear production sites and decimating the IRGC and the Quds Force, including their weapons stores, will make them back down. After such a raid,I’m sure that the Ayatollah will be in a position where HE wants to negotiate.
