Iran issues threat in face of Trump’s threat: “Iran will deliver ‘strong blow’ against US if it attacks”

Iran is nervous over Trump’s recent threat. Trump stated:

If they don’t make a deal, there will be bombing….It will be bombing the likes of which they have never seen before.There’s a chance that if they don’t make a deal, that I will do secondary tariffs on them like I did four years ago.

As usual with jihadists, stealth and violent, Iran is now playing the victim card to rally support, stating:

“The enmity from the U.S. and Israel has always been there. They threaten to attack us, which we don’t think is very probable, but if they commit any mischief they will surely receive a strong reciprocal blow…..

“An open threat of ‘bombing’ by a head of state against Iran is a shocking affront to the very essence of international peace and security,” Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei tweeted on Monday. “Violence breeds violence, peace begets peace. The U.S. can choose the course and concede to consequences.”

Iran does not want peace. It wants regional, and ultimately global conquest, and routinely uses violence toward that end via its jihadist proxies. It also employs violence against its own dissidents home and abroad to crush opposition.

As Iran faces Trump’s threat, Ayatollah Khamenei also reached out to the Islamic world for support, using the opportunity of Eid al-Fitr. He delivered a message during a meeting with government officials and ambassadors of Islamic countries to Tehran, using “Palestine” as a key issue:

Indeed, the world of Islam today needs points that connect the different parts of it together and turn it into one active and efficient unit….Palestine is wounded. Lebanon is wounded. Some of the crimes that are taking place in this region are unprecedented. We can’t recall, in the history that we have observed or read about, anyone having killed nearly 20,000 children in less than two years in a military conflict.

As was predictable, there was no mention of what precipitated the war in the first place.

As Iran reaches out for support, it is also issuing threats of its own, in the hope that it will manage to deter Trump.  Amir Ali Hajizadeh, head of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ aerospace unit, “warned that American forces in the Middle East would face retaliation if the U.S. launches military action against Iran.” He added: “U.S. troops in the region are in a vulnerable position.  It’s like they’re sitting in a glass house. And when you’re in a glass house, you don’t throw stones at others.”

No matter what America and Israel does, Iran has a determined goal: to obliterate the state of Israel, destroy America, and rise to global domination. The longer Iran is left to its own violent devices, the more powerful it will become.

DUBAI (Reuters) -Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Monday the U.S. would receive a strong blow if it acts on President Donald Trump’s threat to bomb unless Tehran reaches a new nuclear deal with Washington.

Trump reiterated his threat on Sunday that Iran would be bombed if it does not accept his offer for talks outlined in a letter sent to Iran’s leadership in early March, giving Tehran a two-month window to make a decision.

Switzerland’s ambassador, who represents U.S. interests and acts as an intermediary between Washington and Tehran, was summoned on Monday by the Iranian foreign ministry, which expressed Tehran’s determination to respond “decisively and immediately” to any threat.

“The enmity from the U.S. and Israel has always been there. They threaten to attack us, which we don’t think is very probable, but if they commit any mischief they will surely receive a strong reciprocal blow,” Khamenei said……
