In September 2013 at Nairobi’s Westgate Mall, Muslims murdered people who couldn’t answer questions about Islam. In June 2014, Muslims murdered people who could not pass an Islam quiz. In November 2014, Muslims murdered 28 non-Muslims who couldn’t recite Qur’an verses. In April 2015, Muslims screaming “Allahu akbar” stormed Garissa University College, and only shot those who couldn’t recite Qur’an. In a Bangladesh restaurant in July 2016, the jihadis spared those who could recite from the Qur’an. In July 2017 in Kenya, Muslims asked Christians to “recite Islamic dogmas” and murdered them when they couldn’t do so. In May 2018 in Belgium, a Muslim who murdered four people told a hostage that he wouldn’t harm her since she was Muslim and was observing the Ramadan fast. In September 2018 in Kenya, Muslims murdered two non-Muslims for failing to recite the Qur’an. In Mozambique in June 2021, Muslims were hunting for Christians door-to-door. In 2024, Hamas spared the life of an Israeli Arab doctor after he successfully answered questions about the Qur’an and Muhammad.

A group of terrorists carried out an attack in the Baisaran area of Pahalgam in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday afternoon. This was not just an attack on individuals. It was a direct assault on the idea of peaceful coexistence, on the spirit of tourism, on the safety of innocents. And above all, it was a hate crime of the worst kind, targeting people for their faith.

They use selected instances of local Muslims condemning the terrorist attacks or taking out candle marches to show Bhaichara (fraternity) to peddle their terror apologist narrative.
From the 90s till 2025, Jammu and Kashmir has witnessed a series of communally motivated terrorist attacks targeting the Hindus. Even a fleeting glance at the history of such terror incidents is enough for the uninitiated to know that such attacks have everything to do with religion.

Their blood is on prime minister Modi’s hands. I saw some Hindu posters on X question their sanity in visiting Kashmir in the first place. I certainly wouldn’t, for the same reason I’d avoid any muslim majority area. But 5 years ago, when India abolished Article 370 of the Indian constitution that gave Kashmir a special status, Modi called on Indians to do what they do abroad – wedding celebrations, parties, events – in Kashmir, as though the jihad threats had ended. These people who went to Kashmir obviously believed him, and the result of their belief is that some of them are now dead, and some are widowed

I don’t normally condone murder, but the guy who assassinated Gandhi saved India from a holocaust of some millions of Hindus – millions more than already killed in the flight of Hindus from what’s today Pakistan and Bangladesh
Gandhi’s plans, had he not been assassinated, was to visit Pakistan a few days later and negotiate w/ them a corridor/land bridge connecting the 2 Pakistans. This would have gone through India, and since there is a famous highway running from Bangladesh to Kabul, Afghanistan, the high likelihood would have been that that would have been the corridor. Most of India’s major cities – including major Hindu pilgrimage spots like Varanasi and Prayag, as well as the capital Delhi, Calcutta, and several other major cities, would then have gone to Pakistan as a part of this land bridge, since Gandhi was too eager to give muslims everything they wanted, regardless of what Hindus got. In fact, like his advice to Jews to sacrifice themselves to Hitler, he advocated that Hindus sacrifice themselves to muslims to satiate them
Next, Pakistan also had claims to Junagadh, in Gujarat, and Hyderabad, smack dab in the heart of India. Today, we think of Hyderabad as just a city, but at the time, it was a major Hindu majority province, albeit ruled by a Nizam. Shortly affter Gandhi’s death, India’s home minister Sardar Patel had paramilitary forces act against both and annex them. Had Gandhi survived, he would have vetoed Patel. That would have been followed by more corridor demands, and much more Hindu territory would have been lost to Pakistan in the process of making that country contiguous w/ East Bengal, even splitting up India into 3 or more segments
Note that Gandhi was someone whose negotiating style was emotional blackmail: he’d threaten to fast to death, and everyone who opposed him folded. Also, during the population exchange, he did things like force Hindu refugees who had fled to India to evacuate a mosque, and on another occasion, tried reading the qur’an in a Hindu temple, much to the umbrage of the Hindus there. There was nothing sane about him
Given everything now known about him, his character (he’d sleep nude w/ his nephew’s wife and a grand-niece to test his resistance to sexual temptation) and his ideology, what Nathuram Godse – his assassin – did was a major service to humanity. That said, it did come at a major cost to Hindus: there never was any political party that dared stand up for Hindu rights. For a while, the BJP looked like it, but that has been proven false over the last 11 years
One more thing – after Gandhi’s death, it wasn’t enough for the Indian government to just give Godse a speedy trial and hang him. There were pogroms launched against the specific Brahmin community in Maharashtra to which Godse belonged. On one hand, you have Indian politicians calling on Hindus to avoid guilt-by-association when it comes to muslims, but in this case, they had no qualms about killing innocent people whose only fault was that they coincidentally happened to belong to the same community as Gandhi’s assassin
