Birzeit is the Palestinian “university” located just outside Ramallah. It’s a pretty crappy school, 1,956th in the world ranking of universities, but if you are an American university and want to show your support for the oppressed Palestinian people, lending your prestige to the school is an easy way to do it. Birzeit is a hotbed of Hamas sympathizers, who for the least two years have held a majority of the seats on the Student Council. Many of its faculty are similarly in Hamas’ pocket. And there are those who are not just supporters of Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, but members of those terror groups. That being the case, and with the new administration in Washington determined to root out support for terrorism and for antisemitism from American campuses, in the main by threatening to cut federal funding, Harvard seems to have seen the light. It has decided not to automatically renew its connection to Birzeit University. The glad news can be found here: “Harvard ends partnership with antisemitic Birzeit University,” JNS, March 31, 2025:
The website of the Harvard University Palestine Program for Health and Human Rights describes the program as “an academic hub engaging in a broadly collaborative justice and rights-based approach” that “utilizes a decolonial framework in program development, leadership and engagement” to “dismantle power dynamics and structures that perpetuate inequities in knowledge production.”
“We are currently not accepting applications for the 2025 Palestine Social Medicine Course,” it adds.
The university suspended a partnership between its François-Xavier Bagnoud Center for Health and Human Rights and Birzeit University, a Palestinian university in Samaria near Ramallah, reported The Harvard Crimson, a student paper.
JNS has reported that Birzeit has ties to Palestinian terror.
Harvard’s public health school did not renew a memorandum of understanding with Birzeit after the agreement expired, per the Crimson. (JNS sought comment from Harvard.)
Andrea Baccarelli, the dean of Harvard’s School of Public Health, told an official university publication that he had “relaunched periodic reviews of our centers and programs to ensure the highest quality of scholarship and teaching excellence.”
“While this review is ongoing, we have halted the formal collaboration between the FXB Center and Birzeit University,” he said. “This allows the panel to objectively evaluate partnerships and collaborations and ensure the center exemplifies academic excellence in alignment with our mission. We will conduct similar periodic reviews of all our centers and programs.”…
Harvard may still renew its agreement with Birzeit University, but at least that ghastly collaboration is no longer a given. A small victory, as compared to those achieved at Columbia, and to the announcement by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, that so far 300 students, such as Mahmoud Khalil, now face deportation for their pro-Hamas demonstrations and campus bullying of both Jewish students and faculty. But it’s a victory nonetheless. Keep up the good work, Secretary Rubio. Many a little makes a mickle.

Harvard has become a supporter of and participant in jihad.

Harvard needs to sever relationships with Muslim students who hate America, hate you and me as Americans/non-Muslim. Muslims use their degrees to further Islam in America, end of story. Muslims want total control of America and the world.
The sooner we understand what Islam is, the sooner we’ll come to a similar conclusion. If we look at the historical patterns of jihad atrocities committed by Muslims over the last 1400 years, we can see this pattern emerge. When Muslim demographics reaches 5-13% of a given country, Muslims can start raping, attacking Christians and Jews, destroying grave sites, destroying images of God/Jesus. Muslims student organizations are funded by the Muslim Brotherhood, so students bad mouth Jews and Christians on campus, attack Christians and Jews on campus, rally against America and what it represents on campus. Much of the anti-Semitism in America started on campus 30 years ago. My personal opinion, if we deport the majority of devout Muslims in America, we can deport killing of non-Muslim (Jews/Christians/youandme), deport terrorism, deport terrorists, deport Sharia Law, deport raping of young women, deport Islamic dress, deport praying in the streets, deport Islamic call to prayer, close all mosques, allow only one mosque per State, deport anti-Semitism.

I somehow believe that Harvard standards today are probably at par w/ Birzeit. They choose well: they’re probably both hovering around #1956 in world rankings

“Palestine Social Medicine Course” – “dismantle power dynamics and structures that perpetuate inequities in knowledge production.”
Tortured language describing instruction in “social medicine” for dummies having a sense of victimhood.
The deal – listen to our course on how to maximize your Palestinian victimhood and you can use our imprimatur on your resume.
