This is a major blow to the proceedings by Elliot Hellenbrand, the lawyer of the defendant, who was tried in immediate appearance this Friday in Metz. Faced with repeated death threats, assault by a person in a state of obvious intoxication, and insulting a public official, this Kosovar national was acquitted of these charges. He was only sentenced to 140 hours of community service for carrying a weapon without legitimate reason. Namely, a small knife (with a 6-centimeter blade) that he had in his bag.
A brief reminder of the facts: Wednesday afternoon, at the Metz Botanical Gardens, actually located in the suburb of Montigny-lès-Metz, the defendant threatened to behead a woman. The numerous witnesses present on this beautiful spring day even heard chants of “Allahu Akbar.”
The 49-year-old man, with 10 previous convictions, intimidates a second woman walking by showing her the penknife in his bag. While drunk (nearly 2 grams of alcohol), he is arrested on a street a little further away. Undeterred, he hurls homophobic insults at a female municipal police officer.
However, as Mr. Hellenbrand pointed out, the man from the Eastern Townships didn’t have an interpreter at the beginning of his police custody, nor during his psychiatric examination. This is an entire aspect of the procedure that collapses. A logical acquittal.
The man in question is not fully released, however: during his police custody, the prefect issued an OQTF (Order of Appeals for the Prevention of Torture and Inhuman Treatment) against him. He was taken under escort to the Queuleu administrative detention center.

After reading all those attacks.. world wide and in the U.S I loaded up my legal home defense gun w/ hollow points. PERIOD. As life long NRA member fully trained by NRA and used to have my own shooting range (my family also are experts: we are from a military family. Very very very bad decision. France should know by now who and what they are dealing with. The judge who allowed this, is setting a very real potential murderer free. Not paying any cost has proven to this Muslim that Allah is really backing him and will continue to back him when he finally does kill a woman.
There will blood on the hands of this judge mark my words.

From what I have seen in reports and on TV progs. The US legal sytem is also deeply flawed and even corrupt in some instnces, it is also prone to political influence, witness the charges brought against Trump. Judges at all levels often make decisions based on their own political leanings rather than the law and as we have seen recently act as though superior to the elected govt.
Many of the judges at lwo levels are unfit for their positions, as I believe they are elected

It seems as if ‘judges’ absolutely want to release these mozlum terrorists. If they can’t be found *not guilty* by reason of being drunk, or due to mental illness, then bring up the fact that they haven’t bothered to learn the local language….or they have learned, but pretend otherwise.
It’s sickening.
If they refuse to speak the local/national language, they should not be allowed to drink alcohol (moslums aren’t supposed to do that anyway), walk down the street, buy/carry any size knife, be within shouting distance of non-mozlum children, women or males.
And toss the ‘judge.’
