The Biden administration served the interests of Hamas. Their time, however, is now up. Good statement from President Trump, but as Robert noted in “This week in jihad”, this threat needs to be followed w/ action, or else it will be toothless. So far, Trump has issued at least 3 threats to Hamas that I’ve counted, but nothing has happened. Now, either Israel needs to call off the ceasefire and resume military operations in Gaza, hopefully having replenished their military reserves and firepower, or the US needs to at least drop a few missiles on Gaza, making no distinctions b/w ordinary Gazans and Hamas
On a different note, the US has rejected an Arab League/Egyptian proposal for the rebuilding of Gaza, w/o evacuating it. Just as it should be, but now it makes sense why no action against Iran has been greenlighted. If the Arabs perceive no threat from Iran, presumably one that’s neutered or where the regime has collapsed, they’ll only harden their stance against Israel. Therefore, it makes sense to have both Iran and Turkey hang over the Arabs like a sword of Damocles, so that they don’t think that they are safe completely eliminating the option of peace w/ Israel
On different front, the State Department needs to scout out the lesser Arab countries like Somalia, Sudan, Libya,…. to resettle the Palis, and start moving towards that, over the objections of the Arab League. Put some in Puntland, some in Tripolitania, some in Western Sahara, some in Sudan…. so that countries like Egypt or Jordan can’t complain that they were bullied into taking them. Once it’s done, the US and Israel can demolish everything there, and then the US can try armtwisting the GCC countries on the rebuilding projects there

Lots of bluster. There’s no way every Hamas “member” can be liquidated without a huge loss of “civilian” life. It’s not something Israel would ever do anyway — i.e. act with total disregard for innocent human life..
Also the Gazans aren’t going anywhere. Trump’s plan to resettle them elsewhere and rebuild Gaza into a new Monaco is merely a pipe dream. Maybe resettle them in Greenland but the Danes won’t want them.
For any plan to work it will need the help and assistance of the other Arab states in the region and, most notably, the oil-rich Gulf states who will be called upon to pay for most of it. Stability in the region is greatly to their advantage and, without them it cannot be achieved. They might just be our best hope.

Gazan civilians are no less guilty than Hamas. In fact, a lot of the hostages were abducted or murdered not by Hamas fighters, but by ordinary Gazans. Also, the hordes of Gazans cheering on and humiliating every hostage while s/he’s being released shows what we all already know: that the Palis are not human!
The Palis have proven that they are incapable of, and unfit to live anywhere near Israel. In fact, they shouldn’t even be in Jordan or Egypt. There are these other places within the Arab League that I listed above where they can be expelled, just like they were expelled in 1983 to Tunisia. And no, they shouldn’t be sent to any non-muslim country, although I read that Trudeau is trying to get them there. Not sure that will be in time to salvage his party

Those are tough words, but how to accomplish them with Hamas in place still holding the hostages is the conundrum. In the tiny country of Israel, everyone knows a brother, sister, son or daughter who has been slaughtered or held by the monsters.
Once the captives are freed, we should level Gaza, a cesspool of hatred and violence.

Seems everyone fears Islam, compromise, capitulate, death is part of dealing with radical/devout Muslims and 2 billion Muslims is reason for fear. We as non-Muslims, at some point will have to put foot in sand, take a stand.
