Whenever Islam is discussed publicly in any negative light, Muslim activists always claim the discussion is “Islamophobic.” It’s the only religion that imposes its tenets (of blasphemy and other matters) upon disbelievers, which also advocates conquest by any means — from dawah to the sword.

According to the Jerusalem Post: “In an official Toronto Police Service Monday podcast, officers explained how the October 7 massacre brought people closer to Islam and that it was Islamophobic to describe pro-Palestinian rallies as pro-Hamas.”
“Muslim Liaison officers Farhan Ali and Haroon Siddiqui made the controversial statements,” but the statements are better characterized as ghastly, and they are rather revealing about why the term “Islamophobia” should be flatly rejected in all free societies. “Islamophobia” establishes that Islam and its tenets must not be criticized, because to do so is offensive to Muslims. In this case, even criticizing the violent Palestinian “resistance” from the (Jordan) River to the (Mediterranean) Sea is deemed “Islamophobic.”
Every ideology and religion is open to discussion and criticism in any free society, except Islam. Islam should not be given this special treatment. Along with the Jewish community, Ali and Siddiqui’s statements should outrage everyone and so should the tolerance of them by Toronto police, at the Jewish community’s expense. Glorifying the savagery of October 7 to advance Islam by two policemen who are sworn to protect and serve their communities is gravely concerning. What does Toronto Police intend to do about Farhan Ali and Haroon Siddiqui and whoever else might have been involved in the podcast? For starters: “The Toronto Police Service (TPS) is apologizing to the Jewish community after it published a podcast that featured two Muslim liaison officers seemingly crediting the Oct. 7 Hamas terror attacks for leading people to study and ultimately convert to Islam.”
An apology isn’t enough. There is a pattern to be observed: when trusted professionals who incite hatred and violence against Jews/or celebrate Hamas are publicly caught, they apologize and their deeds are forgiven and forgotten. However, anyone who merely offends Islam is fired.
Examples:
- UK Reform candidate Dan Cooper was fired from London law firm CMS fired him for posting his personal opinion about Islam on X. “Responding to one X user’s question ‘What do you feel when someone calls you Islamophobic’, he replied: ‘Nothing, because it isn’t a thing. It’s a made-up word. I hate Islam. It’s a 7th century barbaric cult. I don’t fear it. I loath it.’”
- Ravi Hooda was dismissed as school council chair and lost his job at a real estate company in Brampton, Ontario over an “Islamophobic tweet” he tweeted. In protest over Brampton city’s decision to extend noise bylaw exceptions to mosques, he wrote: “What’s next? Separate lanes for camel & goat riders?”
- Former Ontario Member of Provincial Parliament Goldie Ghamari was kicked out of the Ontario Progressive Conservative caucus for meeting with Tommy Robinson, after “fierce backlash from the National Council of Canadian Muslims (NCCM) who called for Ford to remove her from caucus meeting with a far-right British activist and anti-Islam campaigner.”
- I was kicked out of a federal government appointment by the Trudeau government as a director to the Canadian Race Relations Foundation, after the National Council of Canadian Muslims “expressed concerns and sent a formal letter to the government in October” over my writings for Jihad Watch and warnings about stealth jihadists who spread a sharia agenda while they may appear to be “moderate.”
Yet there was never any consequences for Liberal Government diversity hire Laith Marouf, who called Jews “loud mouthed bags of human feces” and said, “Life is too short for shoes with laces, or for entertaining Jewish White Supremacists with anything but a bullet to the head.” Instead, he went on to launch a pro-Hamas Free Palestine TV after October 7.
Likewise, Toronto Police officers Farhan Ali and Haroon Siddiqui’s words pushed the boundaries far beyond mere offense. They not only advocated openly for Islam and Islamic dawah, but they celebrated “bringing people closer to Islam” via the barbaric murder of Jews on October 7; “and dismissed criticism of hateful anti-Israel rallies as ‘Islamophobia.'” How disturbing for the Jewish community that Toronto police would allow these two officers to continue in their trusted positions. Whom should the Jewish community in Toronto call when they feel physically threatened by pro-Hamas antisemites?

Constables Haroon Siddiqui and Farhan Ali — both Muslim liaison officers — hosted an episode of the police-produced Project Olive Branch where they made a number of questionable comments, including praising the Oct. 7 2023 Hamas terror attacks for an increase in converts to Islam.
“A lot of people, after Oct. 7, started learning about Islam,” Siddiqui said in his conversation with Ali — both in full uniform and seated behind a large table emblazoned with the Toronto Police crest….

Having for years watched Toronto’s weak, cowardly and politically correct police leadership, I regard chances of Farhan Ali and Haroon Siddiqui being punished for their support of October 7 Hamas savagery highly unlikely.
When Muslim columnist for the Toronto Sun, Tarek Fatah proved, too liberal (to me balanced and brave) for many Muslims, he received death threats. After he reported these threats to the Toronto Police, as he reported in a column he found himself investigated for reporting Muslim death threats and the Security Officer who visited him was a Muslim.
After in 2018 jihadist Faisal Hussain conducted a murderous attack in the Danforth area of Toronto, killing two girls while shooting eleven others, we were treated to another display of police cowardice. Afterwards Toronto Sun reporter, Joe Warmington, was told by observers that they heard Hussain shouting “allahu akbar”. Despite this dead giveaway regarding Hussain’s intention to kill ‘infidels’, Police Chief, Mark Saunders, informed the public – and I heard him – that “We might never know” what had driven Hussain to this violence.” How a police chief lives with himself after such a display of dishonesty and cowardice, I don’t know.
Then on one occasion al Quds held a rally in Toronto. Like any other group it was supposed to acquire a permit, but not al Quds because it rejects Canadian law that is not shariah law, so they gathered without a permit. About 100 Toronto police officers turned up, not to fine for breaking the law, but to protect – from whom? – one Jewish man who bravely held up an Israeli flag – that some cowardly police officer fruitlessly tried to convince him to lower? The police then escorted al Quds while it illegally marched through the streets of Toronto disrupting traffic.
Recent large post-October 7 Muslim demonstration with their highly overt anti-Semitism, support of Hamas for its October 7 barbarism, lawlessness and violence, has similarly been met by weak police action that reflects dismally on both Toronto police leadership and political leadership. They surrendered to the Muslim and anarchist criminals, arrested Rebel News’s Ezra Levant for quietly filming Muslims breaking the law, and demonstrated their pitiful cowardice. On one occasion offices even took coffee and donuts to the law-breaking Muslims.
How Toronto police and politicians think all this will end is anyone’s guess, but I see cowardly Canadian surrender on the horizon. In a sane society lawless, Jew-hating, newcomers who display no respect for the host country and its laws, would be rounded up and deported en mass, but not in pitiful Canada and the directionless West. I’m hoping that Donald Trump will reverse this shocking weakness and lack of love for civilization, not least Western civilization.
