“Mahmoud Abbas’ highly publicized proclamation that the PA would be ending its terror rewards program known as Pay-for-Slay” was obviously a big lie to begin with — one that was carefully calculated for effect in the ongoing jihad against the Jewish state.
Abbas’ promise was for appearances, especially given the fact that the Biden administration was advocating for “new Palestinian-led governance—with Gaza united with the West Bank under the Palestinian Authority.” Biden et al did not admit that the PA was just as dangerous as Hamas to Israel, even given the fact of its longtime pay-for-slay program and continuous calls for the murder of Israelis. Other leftist governments, such as France, have also supported the idea of the Palestinian Authority taking over control of Gaza in a Palestinian state.
Muslim states already recognize a Palestinian state, which they have fully embraced as a full member of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. The pursuit of Palestinian statehood is only a show for gullible Western infidels, as actually a Palestinian state would only be a stepping stone to further jihad activity against Israel. They need to keep Western money flowing in. In fact, the OIC has long declared “East Jerusalem as the capital of Palestine,” and the OIC does not recognize the Jewish state.

Yesterday, the Palestinian Authority announced that grants were again given to the families of terrorists, specifically to “Martyrs and prisoners” of the PA Security Forces of the Jenin district. This comes despite PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas’ highly publicized proclamation that the PA would be ending its terror rewards program known as Pay-for-Slay.

In fact, there are several countries that have governments in exile, but no international recognition. Tibet is one: try getting them recognized by the UN, the way “Palestine” was! In fact, the breakaway region of Moldova – Pridnestrovian Moldovian Republic – is much more of a functional state than “Palestine”. Aside from its own government, legislature, flag, constitution, national anthem and coat of arms, it also has its own military, police force, currency, postal system and vehicle registration. It passes the attributes of a state a lot better than “Palestine” does, yet no country, not even Russia, recognizes it
As for the “State of Palestine”, it’s high time that Israel cuts off its money supply, and blocades it altogether. Force every muslim to sign a statement recognizing Israel as a Jewish state, and not waging war on it, if they want to continue to live anywhere either in Israel proper, or in Judea, Samaria or Gaza. If they don’t, expel them to any muslim country of their choice. Once they move there, the UN can fund them however it likes, but they can never return anywhere near Israel
