In September 2005, Israel made a big mistake in completely withdrawing from the Gaza Strip to the 1967 Green Line. In June 2007, Hamas took over leadership of the Gaza Strip from the Palestinian Authority.
The Palestinian Authority is aligned with Hamas in its mission to kill Jews and ultimately annihilate the State of Israel. This obviously makes the PA a risky choice to rule Gaza. The Arab League and Organization of Islamic Cooperation see no issue with this, which is telling. As Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty stated: he “wanted OIC support to make it ‘both an Arab plan and an Islamic plan.’” Such a plan factors out any Jewish interests.
Also telling is that the Arab League embraced the leader of Syria, the murderous jihadist Abu Mohammad al-Julani (aka Ahmed Hussein al-Sharaa), at its Gaza Summit in Cairo, where he was given a warm welcome.

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation on Friday adopted the Arab League’s counter-proposal to US President Donald Trump’s plan to take over Gaza and displace its residents, two ministers told AFP.
The decision by the 57-member grouping came at an emergency meeting in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, three days after the Arab League ratified the plan at a summit in Cairo.
The Egyptian-crafted alternative to Trump’s widely condemned takeover proposes to rebuild the Gaza Strip under the future administration of the Palestinian Authority.
“The emergency ministerial meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation adopted the Egyptian plan, which has now become an Arab-Islamic plan,” Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty said, in comments echoed by his Sudanese counterpart….

Trump should just invoke the tariff missile on all those Arab & other islamic countries that support the Pali authority remaining in control of Gaza. They only get lifted on individual countries once they agree to take in a certain critical mass of Palestinians (like 500K)

Update on this: saw on some channel that Trump is suspending military aid to Cairo in response to Egypt promoting this Arab plan. Now Egypt can either cooperate in helping get Gazans out of Gaza, or they can take the aid cut, and see whether Turkey might be willing to support them instead of
