A former Iraqi refugee and legal permanent resident of Richmond, Texas, has entered a guilty plea to conspiracy to provide material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization.
Abdulrahman Mohammed Hafedh Alqaysi, 28, admitted to providing material support and resources to the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS).
It’s a family business though.
Also charged are his cousin Mohammed (aka Moe) Amer Faisal Al Qaysi, another former Iraqi refugee, and Hami Jamshid aka Jamshid Ahmadzai, a naturalized U.S. citizen.
Even if he gets the full 20 years, he’ll be out before he turns 50. It would be more useful to deport him back to Iraq where he can resume the glorious business of fighting for Allah against other followers of Allah.

A “citizen” should only be designated for those who are not supporting terror, so that if one begins supporting terror, they can be designated a “former citizen.” Being no longer a citizen, he can be deported.

Another thing the US could & should do: find a muslim country, say Morocco, and have an agreement w/ them where they accept and settle any muslim deportees to that country (Morocco could take that in Western Sahara), a sort of agreement that Britain had w/ Rwanda during Priti Patel as Home Secretary. This would be a fair use of taxpayer money: as a taxpayer, I’m fine w/ another muslim country being paid to keep our muslims, particularly the proven dangerous ones, in their country. If not money, there are muslim breakaway regions like Puntland in Somalia that would like diplomatic recognition. We can give it to them in exchange for such a policy

All muslim refugees, whether they’re fleeing Iraq or Afghanistan or Syria or Turkey or Egypt or wherever – need to be relocated in another muslim country, preferably underpopulated and willing to take them. Countries like Qatar, Yemen, Algeria, and so on. Given now more than a decade of experience of what happens when they are brought into non muslim countries, whether it’s US or Canada or Europe on one end of the globe, or Japan or Thailand or India at the other, those non-muslim countries should not be expected to take any number of them
There are a lot of muslim countries w/ an acute labor shortage: that’s where they should be sent. Not just Gazans or Palestinians, but muslim refugees from anywhere. At least, those countries will have shariah laws & cultures that everyone is familiar w/, and there will be no “misunderstandings” on the part of either the refugees nor the authorities, the way there are in countries like Britain, Germany and Sweden
