Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s chief of staff, Gergely Gulyás, has also stated that he would “‘very much support’ Hungary withdrawing from the ICC, claiming it had ‘lost its meaning by conducting political instead of legal activities.’”
BUDAPEST, Hungary (AP) — Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will visit Hungary in the coming weeks, a Hungarian minister said Thursday, despite an international arrest warrant for the Israeli leader over the war in the Gaza Strip.
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s chief of staff, Gergely Gulyás, told a news conference in Budapest that Netanyahu would likely visit Hungary before Easter, which falls this year on April 20.
Orbán, a right-wing populist and close Netanyahu ally, had earlier vowed to disregard the International Criminal Court warrant against the Israeli leader, accusing the world’s top war crimes court based in The Hague of “interfering in an ongoing conflict for political purposes.”
Member countries of the ICC, such as Hungary, are required to detain suspects facing a warrant if they set foot on their soil, but the court has no way to enforce that. Several European countries that are members of the court have declared they would enforce the warrant if Netanyahu were to enter their territory……

He should just make sure he does not enter the air space of the places which would arrest him. And fly from his own nation’s air services….wouldn’t want any plane problems in flight.

Somehistory,
What is his crime? Is it for just standing up against Lefty and Islamist thuggery?
There is so much Satan’s influence by whatever name you call!!!!!
somehistory says
Yes, Raja. The crimes are the ones committed by those who want to arrest him.
satan is angry…as Revelation tells us…because he has a “short time’ to do all the evil he can, getting as many people as possible to join him.

“Orbán, a right-wing populist…”
Decades ago, the same Prime Minister Viktor Orbán would have been labeled a “centrist”.
The Associated Press – again, pushing an agenda.

Members of the Leftstream media have tried calling him a dictator. Which is ironic, since he’s kept getting elected, whereas right next door, Rumania cancelled their elections once the wrong guy won

Spot-on, Infidel.

Being called racist and islamophobic is quite survivable as evidenced by Hungary. More countries and people should realize this if they want to preserve their cultures and traditions.

100% true, 40 rounds.
People of means, in countries like Germany, are looking to move to countries like Hungary as a safe haven.

When I was a young man living in the midst of the Cold War for some strange reason I felt sympathy for countries trapped behind the Iron Curtain. There was very little reason for my sympathy as I didn’t know much about them at the time. But in spite of it all I felt sympathy for the people there. And here we are today proving that my past feelings, unexplainable as they were at that time, turned out to be right. I was most definitely out of the ordinary in my thinking way back then. I dont know where I got that intuition and I dont care.
I also had a bad feeling that was nagging at me when the Berlin Wall fell even though most everyone else was celebrating.

If you noticed the German elections a few weeks ago and looked at a German map, you’d have seen one thing. The areas that formerly were in communist East Germany voted heavily for the AfD – the party that wants to deport the muslims, bring back nuclear power and make Germany prosperous again. The areas that were in West Germany, otoh, voted for Merkel’s party, the CDU, and it’s their guy who’s become chancellor
When I saw those results, I thought Germany would have been better off had reunification never happened. East Germany could have been like Poland. Maybe re-branded as Prussia, since it contains Wittenberg, which was where the Lutheran church started. Instead, those people are suffering b’cos of West Germans who are a part of the woke movement
tgusa says
Yes I noticed and you are right. What an ever changing strange world we live in dont you think? It is sad that our so-called intellectual class cant figure that out? Our so-called intellectual class of today is composed of a broad spectrum of groups or affiliations. Politicians, bureaucrats, professors, teachers, actors, musicians. YouTube sensations, social justice warriors, influencers of all sorts. Whatever shall we do? We seem to be up against it trying to defeat all those super smart threats coming from twenty directions.. But why? Winning, it really shouldn’t be that hard to do.
tgusa says
The majority of Western men have sympathy. That probably goes for a majority of men al around the world excepting islamic controlled countries. However, the muslims shouldn’t mistake our sympathy for weakness. Because, as history shows, when we are pushed to the point of getting to it we become not so sympathetic.
Sympathy gets us in to more trouble than we would have had to deal with if we had no sympathy. Our sympathy does have limits.

Likely too late, but if it were possible, a “new” East Germany should:
1. Be reestablished under its former boundaries
2. Kick out all the muslims into West Germany.
3. Join the Visegrad Group.
4. Build a wall to keep people OUT.

Einfach Steinmeier nachmachen.

Well done, Orban. I was reading yesterday that New Zealand’s prime minister had condemned the Hamas attacks, but said that they would arrest Netanyahu and hand him over to the ICC if he falls in their hands. Their “conservatives” are just pathetic
tgusa says
I watched a New Zealand produced fictional crime drama series. Lets just say that if the producers really know New Zealand they portrayed many Kiwis as not too bright. Overall it was a good show. Better than the crap my country has been producing. I think we here are smarter than that so whats going on?

If ever I had to leave the UK on account of persecution of Christians, Hungary is where I’d head for, and, failing that, Poland or Slovakia. Time was when I would have added Ireland to the list, albeit that I’m not Catholic, but not any more. Other than that, any country with an embassy to Israel located in Jerusalem, which in itself implies refusal to buy into the Caliphate agenda.

To veer off slightly: it is clear that God allows things to get so bad (free will and all that) But the world is so bad that when God gives us a miracle, it is clear that it is a miracle. To wit, Trump’s win in America. After four plus years of 99% bombardment of all news outlets trying to ruin him, He WON! A miracle. Let us all keep praying for miracles!
