A Dubai man has been jailed for six years after sexually abusing a 13-year-old British girl he groomed her online.
Hamdan Alshamsi, 21, flew from Abu Dhabi to the UK last Christmas Eve to meet the child.
He had admitted three charges of engaging in sexual activity with a child at Lewes Crown Court.
The 21-year-old bombarded the girl with sexually explicit messages before offering to travel to Britain to meet her.
On December 27, Alshamsi checked into a £250-a-night room at the Hilton Brighton Metropole.
He then booked an Uber to collect the girl from her home and take her to the hotel.
There, he spent two days sexually abusing the 13-year-old.
Police launched an urgent search for the teenager and tracked her mobile phone signal to Brighton.
Detectives scoured the coastline before narrowing their search to the hotel.
The girl was eventually found in a hotel corridor, telling officers she wanted to be with her mother.
Police discovered condoms, lubricant, a whipped cream canister and vodka in Alshamsi’s room.
He was located in the hotel spa, relaxing and enjoying luxury treatments….
Hamdan Alshamsi was found by the police enjoying himself in the hotel spa, quite satisfied with himself for his sexual escapade. Remorse? Don’t be silly. That’s for Infidels. The English girl had it coming — after all, she had fallen for his fiction, had not objected to the sexually explicit online messages he sent her. And besides, she was a non-Muslim, and therefore among “the most vile of created beings,” fair game for those — the Muslims — who are “the best of peoples.” Any Muslim male would have seen her as “easy meat.”
Her mother says the girl is now on “suicide watch.” She is accompanied everywhere, for fear of self-harm. She will never be the same. As for her self-satisfied rapist, he’ll now serve six years of prison da’wa, converting others to Islam. And upon release, he’ll be deported to Dubai. But something tells me that the pedophile urge will prove too strong to suppress, and that he’ll be back, if not in the UK, then somewhere else in Western Europe, where he will have snared another young victim via the Internet, with the same tall tale about his age, the same insidious online grooming, the same meeting at a luxury hotel where he will hold his young prey hostage and repeatedly rape her. He won’t be able to stop himself.

However, parents must be more aware of what their kids are doing and with whom they are doing them.
This poor child may have learned a lesson, but she will have to live with the emotional, mental and physical scars. And that is a tragedy. A horrific one.

I wonder too. It’s probably also difficult given how much schoolwork is online and how many kids have phones (intended by parents to improve safety). Kids know things about operating online that parents don’t, but yes, I wish they’d blocked any contact.

You know, HP, that parents with young children, are usually not so old that they have learned all of life’s most important lessons.
They may be so busy earning a living, feeding the kids, providing clothes, etc. that they have little actual time to talk …at length….with their children.
Grandparents , if they are alive and able, can help with this. Sitting down to a board/card game, putting together a puzzle, or listening to music with a kid can cause conversations to go just about any place if the child feels comfortable with the grandparent.
The parents just have to be willing to allow the grandparent to have that precious time.
I hope other parents and their children who know of this, can learn from this poor child’s horrible experience.

Girls from the lower middle or lower classes whose mothers might be working three jobs to just get by Many girls in foster homes. Yes, agreed, WPM. I’m appalled at the ways UK child welfare worked with muslims to provide them with girls. One commenter elsewhere dismissed it all with the rationale that the girls’ lives were already ruined. We pay taxes to provide protection for children whose families can’t quite stretch to cover it all, not to serve rapists, so no to that one.

If it is done to a non-Moslem it OK for the Moslems to do it in any part of the world .Many women hired as “maids” or house keepers that or nannies in Dubai never go home and are keep as sex slaves.. They come from the Philippines ,or some back water Eastern Europe country ,or Vietnam any number of poor countries ,seeing good money for honest work advertised .They get their passports taken from them are are kept women for the rest of their lives.
