The Democrats showed us that they have a weird idea of what’s weird last fall, when the party of blue hair, men in dresses, and hate-America Marxism thought it could win a presidential election by branding Americans who are still sane and know the difference between a man and a woman “weird.” Anyone who didn’t live inside their leftist bubble could have told the Dems that this was never going to work, and sure enough, it won them so much ridicule that they abandoned it quickly. Congressman Tim “Sarah” McBride (D-Lunacy), however, hasn’t had enough ridicule, and is now back at it, calling Republicans “weird” for not playing along with his embarrassing personal charade.
Politico, the dutiful leftist rag that it is, plays along, of course, and so uses female pronouns and calls this guy “Sarah” throughout its article, as if he were an actual woman whom evil fascist Republicans, in their misogynistic fury, had decided to target. “Rep. Sarah McBride,” said the leftist propaganda sheet in its most earnest Emperor’s-New-Clothes mode, “said she lived to [sic] ‘rent-free in the minds of some of my Republican colleagues’ amid a controversy about GOP lawmakers referring to her by the wrong gender.”
Note the framing of the story. Politico is a propaganda organ, but it’s as skilled at its work as Josef Goebbels ever was, and so it knows that even the way a news item is presented will influence what the public thinks about it. If it had said what it would have said if we were living in a sane world, it would have framed the story this way: “Rep. Tim McBride, who calls himself ‘Sarah,’ claimed he lived ‘rent-free in the minds of some of my Republican colleagues’ amid a controversy about his demands that they refer to him by the wrong gender.”
McBride said Thursday that Republicans who had the temerity to point out that he was actually a man were “obsessed with culture war issues.” In full Tim Walz mode, McBride claimed that he found this “weird” and “bizarre.” He hauled out other failed Democrat talking points as well, saying piously, “We will not take a lecture on decorum from a party that incited an insurrection.” I’d pause here to explain for the umpteenth time that a guy with Viking horns and a bunch of old ladies taking selfies doth not an insurrection make, but everybody knows that by now. Even when Democrats had numerous people in their gulag for their actions on Jan. 6, none of them were actually charged with “insurrection.” But poor ol’ Tim/Sarah apparently has no other intellectual ammunition to use against his opponents.

Why not split the difference? He may continue to be addressed as Sarah rather than Tim. But he doesn’t get to be referred to as a “she” instead of a “he”
That way, normal people have to adjust to a man’s name being “Sarah”. But they don’t have to pretend that he is a woman

Megyn Kelly tried it, and later reversed her policy. Words mean things! Her reason was that once you cede them the language, arguing against their demands is that much more difficult. If you refer to a person born as a man who “transitions” into a woman, as “she”, how exactly do you argue that “she can’t enter a female locker room or bathroom”, or “she can’t play in a women’s sport? You’ve already tacitly accepted the premise that he is a woman, or else, you wouldn’t have referred to him as a “she”. I am reminded of the Ricky Gervais skit on Netflix, where…..
Essentially, allowing all the institutions which were hijacked by the Left to redefine the usage of words that for hundreds, if not thousands of years, have been used to define the gender of various entities is what drove us into this mess. So how is one’s pronouns relevant here at all in the first place? Usually, it should be pretty straightforward, but thanks to all the bodily mutilations done on kids over the last decade, it can be tricky to tell. However, for official purposes, a person’s sex/gender (those 2 are the same thing, the former being a double entendre on both the act of copulation itself as well as the individual plumbing on a person, while the latter is the grammatical term used to address this characteristic of language. In the US, the latter term replaced the former to get past the juvenile reactions of most people to the former) is defined by what’s on his or her birth certificate. That can’t be changed by any surgery, since every cell in the body would have to be altered. Not just that, future cells that grow too would need to have the same XY or XX chromosomes, and that gets created naturally, not according to the whims of either the doctors nor the patients
So like I suggested above, if Will Thomas undergoes a surgery and renames himself to Lea Thomas, I’m happy to address him as Lea, despite it usually being a female name. However, he doesn’t get to tell me how to refer to him. If I do happen to be in a conversation w/ him, it shouldn’t even come up: each of us would be addressing the other as “you”

1. As I was taught by dear Mrs. Kosofsky in high school, I will continue to practice pronoun agreement, with the masculine doing double duty for the ambiguous.
2. I will explain to people that I believe biology matters.
3. I will use “immigrant” for anyone who moves into the country from elsewhere; and consider it a perfectly respecful term for Lawful Permanent Resident and naturalized citizens–and scold any advocacy group as being as bad as the xenophobes for making it mean illegals.
4. I will refuse to use “justice” for mere revenge for imagined grievances.
5. I will use ‘Eretz Yisroel for the geographical region between the Jordan and the Med; Palestine for the Roman province; ‘Eretz Cana’an for the place prior to the days of Joshua.

Notice France, UK, and Germany are all talk, “big hat no cattle”, about sending armies to Ukraine – without a US commitment. Their “wonder weapons” didn’t overcome Russian resolve and now it would be men and artillery. Watch they and Ukraine try every trick to get the US to directly war with Russia.
Why are we in this state? Because too many have dumped the philosophies for life such as religion and proclaimed themselves to be athiests(no purpose for life) or assembled their own “Rubik’s Cube” assembly for ethical or unethical living. There is always a new twist.
Any normal man knows that he is competitive, acquisitive, and desires to mate with a companion in his lifetime. This is a recipie for war unless informed by some system of ethics. Unfortunately, Islam created some of its ethics to amplify these natural male tendencies as rewards for participation in war – booty, sex slaves, dominance over dhimmis. It refuses to die as a male and warlord religion because it fits and harnesses natural male tendencies.
Western civilization is on a crumbling foundation, the blurring of gender being only one indicator. Yes, having a Supreme Court Judge who denies gender, matters. At the end, he almost did, but his father explained the *reason.* The *reason* was rather a bad thing, imo.

I had a friend who had a name that sounded very much like a girl’s name, although I have never heard of another person with that name. And when I was a kid working on farms, one of the farm owners, a big gruff guy, was named Carol. Another male friend was named Gayle.
I gave my son the name of several famous men, but in today’s society, a lot of girls have that name….with a different spelling….and when people hear my son’s name, they automatically think of ‘girl.’ Until they hear his voice or see him.
But for a male to choose to try to look (they don’t succeed) like a female, and want to be called accordingly, is perversion.

We men are to love our wives — clearly feminine in Greek — as Christ loved his church in Ephesians 5. I will not say, “To Hell with the sexual revolution”. It’s already well on its way there, and taking too many people with it.
