Witkoff doesn’t just want Trump spending his second term rebuilding Gaza. He wants J.D. Vance to spend his two terms rebuilding Gaza.
In my article early last week, “Trump Should Pull Out of Gaza Nation Building”, I warned that this was coming.
If the Trump administration backs the deal, it will be forced to act as a ‘guarantor’ which will not only mean protecting Hamas, but an extended terrorist nation-building program bigger even than Iraq or Afghanistan. Phase 3 of the deal reportedly calls for a 3-5 year rebuilding program.
That timetable would have President Trump spend his whole second term rebuilding Gaza.
And the UN’s actual numbers are far worse. The UN Development Program is estimating $50 billion in costs to rebuild Gaza by 2040
Steven Witkoff, the real estate guy with a history of previous dealings with Hamas’s state sponsors in Qatar, appointed by President Trump to act as his Middle East envoy, is now parroting the UN’s numbers.
Witkoff, a real estate developer, assesses that the demolition and moving of the debris alone will take five years.
“There has been this perception we can get to a solid plan for Gaza in five years. But its impossible. This is a 10 to 15 year rebuilding plan,” he said.
That 15-year plan would put it at… 2040.
What that means is the U.S. would be dragged into this nation-building project in Gaza for President Trump’s entire second term and for, if he should get them, J.D. Vance’s two terms in office.
Madness.
While Trump is saying sensible things about getting a terrorist population out of Gaza and over to Egypt or Jordan, where they originally came from, Witkoff appears to dismiss the whole idea.
Witkoff told Axios he hasn’t discussed with Trump the idea of moving Palestinians from Gaza.
Instead, Witkoff had the brighter idea of committing the U.S. to the Biden plan to save Hamas, putting U.S. boots on the ground as I revealed in my latest article, and a 10-15 year rebuilding program.
This is not America First. This is Gaza First. This is Islam First.

Not one red cent from American taxpayers, nor money from any other non-Muslims, should be spent on Gaza. The rich Arab states of the Gulf are the only ones who should be spending money on this effort. Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Kuwait have trillions of dollars in their sovereign wealth funds. Let them pay. It’s nothing to them. And it’s a terrible idea to engage in further transfers of wealth from non-Muslims to Muslims. The sums the Western world spends on oil and gas from Arab lands-is already quite enough (one more reason to encourage the use of renewables,). The wealth of the rich Arabis is not the result of their hard work, invention, or entrepreneurial talent — it’s merely the product of an accident of geology. T
And before anyone talks about spending anything on Gaza, we should be crying to high heaven about the $14 billion dollars that has been stolen by just four Hamas leaders — Mousa Abu Marzook, Khaled Meshaal, the late Ismail Haniyeh, the late Yahya Sinwar. The UN, or the World Bank, or the rich Arab states, must get that money back either from the Hamas leaders themselves, who should be arrested for grand, very grand, theft, or from those who after their death made off with the su whom they left those colossal sums,, and apply it to funding a cleanup of the rubble, without which no rebuilding can take place.

My only disagreement w/ Hugh is on oil. It is fungible, and now that the US is a leading producer, the non muslim world is no longer solely dependent on dar ul islam for their oil. Also, I don’t anticipate that Russia will be a permanent enemy, once both sides have adjusted their views of each other, in which scenario, even Russian oil will be on the market. If the islamic regime in Iran falls, that too can come online. At which point, bilad ul Kafir will no longer be dependent on dar ul islam
We need to stop being as fervently devoted to renewables as muslims are to jihad. Solar has a huge real-estate footprint, and is only useful if one is going to cover the entire Australian outback w/ solar panels. Wind is now proven to be environmentally disastrous, given the number of birds that fly into it, and whales that are driven insane from the ultrasonic waves emitted by the windmills and end up getting washed ashore. Geothermal might have some potential, although the footprint it requires is unknown. Point is that solar and wind are not gonna solve our energy needs. The biggest factor in environmental cleanup has been the replacement of coal by gas in a big way

So move Gazans. Humble yourselves. Let them change their ways in another place to see how that works.

Why in the hell would the US use taxpayers funds to “rebuild” Gaza? Why would anyone reward terrorism, kidnappings and murder with new buildings and infrastructure? Why should Trump Waste his time with a region smaller than even our tiniest state?
If Gaza and Judea-Samaria remain in the hands of genocidal TERRORISTS, then they should be the one’s rebuilding. It will be up to them whether to spend their limited resources on building rockets or houses.
We have too much work to do getting rid of people like the “Palestinians” from the West. We have precious little time to assist barbaric TERRORISTS and their voters.

After Aceh tsunami in 2004, the west sent tons of money to help rebuild Aceh, then Aceh becomes the only province that implements shariah law, and become more hostile to the Christians and other non muslims.
In Iraq, after Saddam Hussein fell, the US helped rebuild Iraq, later Iraq becomes more hostile toward non muslims too.
In Europe, the muslim migrants are welcomed and supported by Europe, then the muslims attack the European people.
Seems like helping muslims is not paid off, in fact, the result is the opposite of what is expected.

Forget WW2 and the USA helped rebuilding Europe, The United States should never help rebuild Gaza, they do not deserve a reward of rebuilding for the war they started with Israel.
Why: Islam and Jihad: all Muslims are required to perform jihad, they do not have to be a solider. All they have to do is support the fighter with food, shelter, equipment etc. This way they full fill their jihad as required so please there is never innocent Muslims in the middle east.
