What Lina Ishaq did after converting to Islam is wholly inexplicable in light of the picture of Islam that the Western political and media establishment pushes on the public. Maybe that picture is inaccurate, eh?

Stockholm (AFP) – A Swedish court on Tuesday sentenced a 52-year-old woman to 12 years in prison on genocide charges, in the country’s first court case over crimes by the Islamic State group against the Yazidi minority.
Accused of keeping Yazidi women and children as slaves at her home in Syria in 2015, Lina Ishaq was convicted of genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes, the Stockholm district court said in a statement….
Ishaq also forced the Yazidis, who practice their own religion, to “become practising Muslims” by making them recite Koran verses and pray four or five times a day.
She also called the injured parties “demeaning invectives such as ‘infidels’ or ‘slaves'”, the court said….
Ishaq grew up in a Christian Iraqi family in Sweden but converted to Islam after meeting her late husband and Islamist Jiro Mehho, with whom she had six children, in the 1990s….

Good for the Court. She deserves more than a couple of black eyes and popping nose. Hideously ugly, inside and out.
And she deserves a whole lot more than those few years.
There should be a gallows being constructed outside her prison cell with her name on the noose.
I have pity for her kids. They didn’t stand a chance at being raised normally.

James, anyone who has taken criminology courses (as I have) knows that **appearance* is very important in the prosecution of crime.
For example, a creep accused of rape will get a female attorney, dress nicely, and try to look handsome and, therefore, innocent of forcing himself upon a female….or even male.
Studies have proven that people thought as good-looking, handsome or pretty, are thought to be more intelligent, nicer, honest, etc. than people with unappealing features.
This makes the physical appearance of those accused of crimes, very *relevant.*
Some people thought Ted Bundy couldn’t be a monster because he had nice physical features. One look in his eyes…a physical feature….told me his insides were very ugly….therefore, to me, ugly inside and out..
To me, it doesn’t matter how nice the features may be if the person is evil. Nor does it matter how physically unattractive the features may be if the person is a moral person who tries to do good.
The claim that looking at physical features is ”childish” expects that to be an insult.
But to me, it is not. I would rather think and behave as a child, than to think and behave as an idiot.

I break down physical appearance in this way:
I don’t criticize immutable physical characteristics, e.g., the shape of one’s nose, size of one’s ears, etc. The person has no control over these factors – short of expensive plastic surgery.
Factors that can be controlled are, in my opinion, open for criticism. Morbid obesity (without very rare medical causes), horrific tattoos, the way that one dresses, general “unkemptness”, etc., should be open to criticism.
Also, one’s “countenance” can – oftentimes but not always – be affected by a person’s inner evil thoughts, as an evil person may have “dead looking eyes”, etc.
I agree, it is not “childish” to comment on the above – with my exception of immutable characteristics.
Not sure if I made my thoughts clear, but I did try…

She is a devoted muslim who pratices Islam, so Islam must be telling muslims to do genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes in addition of enslaving people.
This is common sense, any body who can think should have got this conclusion. Unfortunately, thinking is a rare item in these days.

The way the headline reads, one would think that a Swede – maybe an Ingrid Johanson converted to islam, went to Iraq & started bullying Yazidis. Turned out to be an Iraqi Christian convert to islam
