“There’s no business like show business,” Judy Garland once sang, but until recently the migrant business of foisting illegal aliens falsely claiming to be ‘refugees’ on Americans used to be very big business.
Sadly for illegal alien invaders and their profiteers, it’s going downhill.
The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops sued Trump claiming that $65 million had been allocated for 6,700 invaders and that with the funding cutoff, it’s on the hook for millions of dollars.
Reportedly it has laid off a third of its staff.
Catholic Charities in Houston, an epicenter of the invasion, announced it was laying off 120 workers.
In Dallas, Catholic Charities jettisoned 59 employees. A news story cited the help given to an Afghan ‘refugees’.
Episcopal Migration Ministries laid off 22 employees, Jesuit Refugee Services has laid off 400, and HIAS (formerly Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society) cut 22 staff members.
Church World Service Lancaster furloughed much of its staff. IRIS (Integrated Refugee and Immigrant Services) in Connecticut laid off 20% of its staff and the Catherine McAuley Center in Cedar Rapids dumped around half of its workforce.
Those are just sample stories from around the country but they’re crucial because forcing refugee resettlers to lay off staff makes it harder for them to reopen again and helps cripple the invasion pipeline.

Just hope that all the federal judges nationwide that have put a stay on moves like DOGE initiated firings get quickly reversed

Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA) quit being “Lutheran” over 50 years ago, but ELCA refuses to change its name for some diabolical reason. It’s pro-abortion, pro-LBGTQ+, pro sex-change surgeries for children, pro-illegal immigration, and every other progressive unholy monstrosity it can find. It has trans-man “woman” as a bishop and a couple churches even have “sacred witches” on staff to “inject a little magic into the services.” Wolves in sheep’s’ clothing.

The “church” was wrong,,,, period.
First off if they felt so strongly about what they did, then fund it by yourself,,,,, and not with “hidden taxpayer money”.
Secondly,,,,, just my 10 cents,,,,, the catholic and most other churches are obviously abusing federal monies. I believe the Catholic Church is the second largest landowner right beneath Uncle Sam. Their tax exempt status needs a closer look.

A judge yesterday, reversed his ruling on what Mr. Trump is doing to curb the wild, abusive, criminal funding of evil.
I had seen the suit by the Catholics….which strikes me as un-Christian. Directions to Christians say to “not be taking each other to court.” Mr. Trump says he “thanks God,” for keeping that bullet out of his head. He speaks about Jesus….so the Catholics suing him, are being very un-Christian.
Besides, Christians are supposed to follow every command of Christ. One of those, “Pay Caesars’ things to Caesar and God’s things to God.” Working to keep criminals….they commit a crime by illegally crossing borders…in the country and living off the hard work of others, is being disobedient, and not ‘paying to Caesar what he requires.’
this all makes organized religion (I refuse to call them Christian, though they claim it) look criminal and greedy.

Totally agree Mr. Lincoln and somehistory. Being so close to the border, ( can see Mexico from my house) I saw some suspicious (imo) of aiding illegal immigrants make their way north. Members of the church I attended were either ignorant of laws or just deliberately flaunting them.
One of the reasons I joined the Eastern Rite. My church is much more conservative, has their own hierarchy, and observes the laws

If the ‘refugees’ were Christians being persecuted in Muslim countries that would be one thing. I read Christians from Syria couldn’t get into refugee camps in Jordan. The Muslims run the camps, and can tell who are Christian by ID cards and names, and turn them away. That way the Muslims can funnel only Muslim ‘refugees’ into western countries. It’s 99.9% guaranteed that Afghan refugees are Muslims.

My take, the employers who knowingly hired such to line their own pocketbooks should serve jail time. They are/were part of the problem.
