This will, as always, get no coverage in the establishment media outlets. That’s because it doesn’t fit the narrative, which holds that Muslims are always brown victims and Christians are always white oppressors. If a news item doesn’t fit that narrative, as far as the establishment media is concerned, it didn’t really happen, or at very least is unworthy of any attention.

1/24/2025 Nigeria (International Christian Concern) — Boko Haram is escalating attacks on Christian communities in Chibok, Borno state, displacing more than 4,000 Christians in recent days. In a series of coordinated raids, Boko Haram targeted the Christian villages of Njila, Banziir, Shikarkir, and Yirmirmug, burning homes, torching churches, and killing five people.
During the most recent attack on Monday, terrorists descended on Shikarkir and Yirmirmug in the early morning, displacing more than 1,500 residents.
Eyewitnesses reported that Boko Haram militants targeted Christians during these raids, intimidating them and demanding they convert to Islam or face death. The violence destroyed Ekklesiyar Yan’uwa, a church, and the loss of livestock, food supplies, and livelihoods.
“We are living in fear,” said Ibrahim Yana, a farmer who fled Shikarkir. “They burned down our church and homes. Many of us have lost everything.”
Boko Haram, officially known as Jama’atu Ahlis Sunna Lidda’awati wal-Jihad, has waged a violent insurgency since 2009, targeting Christians, moderate Muslims, and government institutions in its quest to establish an Islamic caliphate. The group gained global infamy for its 2014 abduction of 276 schoolgirls in Chibok, an event that sparked international outrage and the #BringBackOurGirls movement.
Since then, Boko Haram has orchestrated numerous atrocities, including the killing of tens of thousands of civilians, the displacement of more than 2.5 million people, and the destruction of churches, schools, and entire communities across Nigeria’s northeast….

Nigerian Christians can’t take much more. So many have been raped and murdered; so many have lost everything and have no place to go, no place to flee from the violence. And the world does not care.
Jesus said that Christians would be persecuted and murdered. He said, “When they persecute you in one city, flee to the next city.” He promised that a complete circuit of the cities would not be completed before His Return.
The Christians in Nigeria are quickly running out of cities where they could expect to have some semblance of life without the constant threat of persecution and murder.
Christians pray and beg for our Lord Jesus to return as did the Apostle John, “Amen. Come quickly.”

This is heartbreaking. I have tried to tell my neighbors, friends, and church about this real persecution and genocide in Nigeria and Africa. Our pastor has made Church persecution and Jesus’ prophecy about persecution part of many of his expository sermons at least twice each month over the last four years. Many people I spoke with say, “well, every generation has dealt with this.”

And these are indigenous Nigerians who are being driven from their homes and lands by other Nigerians… simply and solely because they (those being driven out) are not Muslim; and the drivers-out are Muslims. This is JIhad. People become Muslims… and then are filled with hate toward their non-Muslim neighbours, and feel entitled – if those non-Muslim neighbours refuse to embrace the thug-and-bully code full of bizarrerie, that is Islam, and choose to follow some other system of belief – to kill them rob them rape them and seize their property.
And.. the kicker is this.. even if people thus attacked ‘crack’, give up, give way to despair and fear, and become Muslims (or are seized, as vulnerable children, and brainwashed; or snatched, and raped, and ‘married’ to their Muslim rapist, and force-bred to produce more brainwashed mohammedans).. there is NO guarantee of peace and quiet because war is endemic *among* Muslims… jihad is so embedded in Islam, the lust for murder so intrinsic to it, that there is always someone ‘more Islamic than thou’ who will use false accusations of ‘breach of sharia (‘blasphemy!’ etc)’ to unleash the murderous mob upon someone they have decided they don’t like (we see this in Pakistan all the time).
Women in Islamic societies live under a permanent sentence of death, temporarily commuted/ suspended but liable to be suddenly activated at any moment. They live in perpetual fear of a – usually utterly false – accusation of ‘improper behaviour’ that can get them ‘honour-murdered’ .. or stoned to death by a howling mob. No matter *how* perfectly meekly compliant they are they can STILL wind up horribly dead.. at the hands of their flaming-eyed father/ son/ brother/ husband/ next-door-neighbour or the bloke down the street who gets off on killing women…

It needs to be borne in mind, when some Christians look at this and say, O well, Jesus said we would be persecuted, we’re supposed to be persecuted, it’s *good* for us to be persecuted, it keeps us faithful, etc, we should just lie down and take it, we should get ready to suffer the same here, that… **if these Nigerian victims of Jihad were NOT Christians** – if they were, say, converts to Judaism, or Buddhists, or were following traditional African animist beliefs – **they would be getting killed or driven from their homes, robbed and raped and dispossessed**.
Jihad targets EVERYONE who is not a Muslim – be they Christian, atheist, Buddhist, Sikh, Hindu, Jewish, Zoroastrian, Samaritan, Yazidi or atheist. Muslim jihadis butchered millions upon millions of Buddhists and Hindus during the Muslim invasion, conquest and occupation of most of India; and transformed multicultural mostly-Buddhist Afghanistan into the Islamic hell-pit that it is today. Most African victims of Jihad in the past – and they number in the millions upon millions, including millions of boys seized and castrated, 9 out of 10 of whom did not survive the brutal removal of all external genitalia to create eunuchs for use in the harems – would not have been Christians.
I weep – and rage! and pray! – on behalf of all the non-Muslim victims of Jihad, whether they are my fellow Christians, or not.
And maybe it’s not very Christian of me, to rejoice over any and every successful fightback against Jihad that has been carried out in the past, whether by Christians – as at Lepanto in 1571, or most famously at Vienna in 1683 – or by non-Christians, as when the Israelis struck, successfully, against their Muslim enemies, in 1967. But I do so rejoice.
As far as I am concerned, Islam/ the Mohammedan Mob needs to be recognised for the psycho serial killer, writ large, that it is; and the use of legitimate force by non-Muslim states or even non-state entities, to restrain that killer, set a limit to the swath of bloody destruction it has left across planet earth, quarantine/imprison it, and protect and rescue its intended victims, is entirely appropriate, and to be encouraged and applauded!
Would a Christian, in our own country, argue that the police force and justice system should be disbanded, and that robbers, rapists and murderers – including the most atrocious of serial killers – be left to run rampant?
