Examples of this kind could be multiplied endlessly. What other religion has common and frequently repeated prayers calling upon the deity to kill the perceived enemies of the faithful, one by one?

A good number of years in a Johannesburg bar frequented mostly by white men, two black men walked in and started pistol-whipping patrons, so a patron pulled out a gun and, obviously skilled, with two neat shots killed both intruders.
The barman and other patrons then told this man to take off before calling the police.
When police arrived the patrons smilingly told the officers that they had never before seen the shooter.

I wouldn’t bother asking anyone whether I was allowed to kill a Muslim if one threatened me. Nowadays I carry a rather neat knife ‘just in case’ and if a Muslim lunatic threatens I won’t hesitate to use it. After doing so I will simply walk away and get the hell out of Dodge. My family doctor has told me where to stick the blade to best effect.

After all the hostages are released, Israel should flatten all remaining structures that are still standing, even if uninhabitable, thus leaving a totally flattened landscape good only for cockroaches and rats. Then move out all the inhabitants out as quickly as possible.
I would not waste time considering leaving anyone there – let alone for up to two years – with what sanitation and water? Disease will spread.

I think the Travel Ban that President Trump enacted in 2017 should be extended to US residents like these imams – at least the ones located in the US. Not sure what their immigration status is. If it’s anything short of citizen, they should be deported instantly to a muslim country that can be persuaded/arm twisted to take them.
