Among the hostages taken back to Gaza on October 7 were Shiri Bibas, 32, and her two sons , Ofri, age 4, and Kfir, a baby who was nine months old at the time. Hamas claims they were killed in an Israeli airstrike last November, but if so, why did Hamas wait till now to tell the world? No one in his right mind believes Hamas. The mother and her tiny sons were murdered by Hamas in Gaza. And just before the coffins were delivered to the Red Cross, the coffins were put on display as crowds of ecstatic “innocent civilians,” including children, could cheer and jeer at the spectacle.
Hamas will in every case claim that all of those dead were killed in Israeli airstrikes, or in the shelling of Hamas hideouts by Merkava tank fire, or by IDF infantrymen shooting at schools or apartments where Hamas had been holding them. But once all the hostages, living and dead, have been returned, Israel will confirm what we all know to be true —all of the dead were murdered by Hamas.
At the Great Synagogue in Rome, President Isaac Herzog spoke of the Bibas family, and of the “absolute and cruel evil” that the people of Israel were facing: “Herzog: This is a wake up call, we are facing absolute cruel evil, we must stand together,” Jerusalem Post, February 19, 2025:
President Isaac Herzog addressed the Great Synagogue of Rome on Wednesday evening as the names of the slain hostages to be returned on Thursday – Oded Lifshitz, Shiri Bibas, Ariel Bibas, and Kfir Bibas – were announced.
Herzog concluded his official visit to Italy on Wednesday with an address at a historic gathering of the Jewish community at the Great Synagogue of Rome.
“These days are a wake-up call—not just for our nation, but for the entire family of nations. In the face of this evil—led by the evil Iranian regime—we must stand together, resolutely, firmly, and courageously,” he told the congregants.
He thanked them for their support and solidarity with the Israeli people and addressed their deep concerns for the difficult days ahead.
Pain and sorrow
“Yesterday, it became apparent to all of us that the days ahead will be especially heart-wrenching.”
“They will hold both pain, grief, and sorrow—as the bodies of hostages are returned to us tomorrow—but also relief and even hope, as living hostages, our brothers, are freed on Shabbat.”

Through their father, Yarden Bibas, Ariel and Kfir Bibas held dual citizenship — Israeli and Argentinian. Argentinian President Javier Milei has declared a national day of mourning for the Bibas brothers, who will be returned to Israel on Thursday.
In a post on X/Twitter, President of the Argentinian Commission for Human Rights. Sabrina Ajmechet mourned Kfir and Ariel Bibas, who held dual citizenship through their father, recently released hostage Yarden Bibas.
“Two Argentinian babies assassinated because of Hamas terrorism,” Ajmechet wrote. “I hope that never again, after this, I have to hear that what happens in Israel and Gaza is not our concern, of all Argentines.”…
Milei is a Catholic who reads the Torah daily and once considered converting to Judaism. His declarations of solidarity with the embattled Jewish state, and now of sympathy as the tiny bodies of the Bibas boys have been returned, have given the rest of the world a lesson in how to behave toward the country, and the people, of Israel.

Thank you President Milei. Argentina has made a positive turn to fiscal responsibility and morality since the socialist government was defeated.
Standing with the Bibas family and the state of Israel in this just war is new for Argentina that used to host Hezbollah and blocked investigations of the horrible attack on a Jewish Center in Buenos Ares by Iran and its proxy.

Why can’t the West realize that Islam is pure evil and a death cult? Israel is shouldering the burden of fighting off the jihadi invasion of western lands. The Palestinians have reached new levels of depravity by murdering babies with their bare hands. Of course, anyone who saw Hamas’ own recordings of October 7, realized that the torture of children in front of their parents was accepted practice for these monsters.
