Police are “probing” his praise for the jihad murderer Nasrallah, but Hanna knows he need not fear any significant consequences.

Jesus doesn’t want **anyone** to die, horrible deaths or otherwise. He agrees with His Father, ‘For God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten son….for everyone who believes on Him to have ***everlasting life.***
And Ezekiel wrote long before that about “God not wanting anyone to die,” and there are other Scriptures which say the same. God and Jesus want people to live.
However, you’re suggesting that Christians should do things which Jesus did not command. Jesus did not tell Christians when they began to be persecuted for following Him to “put together an army.”
He gave instructions for this time in which we are living. Christians do well to follow as closely as they can those instructions. If they are killed…horrible death or otherwise…or if they die of illness, accident or old age, they are assured of a resurrection.

The only way to survive against Islam is to be stronger than Islam. The Lebanese Christians know how to deal with them. When the Muslims destroyed a church, the Christians destroy five mosques and then the Muslims behave. you have to strike back with overwhelming force. The Christians don’t start fights, but they end them. The same as the Jews dealing with Hamas. That’s the only way to make Muslims behave. But they will constantly be testing your strength and looking for weakness.

John, what you describe may have been the case decades ago, but at this point Hezb’allah has largely taken over Lebanon. Many Christians there tow the line to Muslims.
