This is not quite accurate, as there is nothing “radical” about Islamic jihad violence. It is mainstream and deeply rooted in the Qur’an and Sunnah. And “Islamist” is a phony word that corresponds to nothing in Islamic theology. It is just an attempt to distance Islam from the crimes done in its name and in accord with its teachings.
Nevertheless, this is a tremendous improvement over the Biden regime, during which the destroyer of the Justice Department, Merrick Garland, assured us, as did Old Joe Biden himself, the destroyer of the FBI, Christopher Wray, and the leftist top dogs at the Department of Homeland Security that “white supremacists” were the biggest terror threat America faces today. The only thing they lacked to complete their scenario were actual white supremacist terrorists.
Let’s hope that Gabbard’s words herald a new realism in dealing with the jihad threat.

I wish she would begin to change the dialogue by using different terms. ‘Sharia supremacists’ are our enemies. This turns the conversation back onto Islam and puts them on the defensive since sharia is at the heart of jihad.

As a Democrat, and when she was pals w/ Tucker Carlson, one unfortunate aspect of her criticism was that she would uniquely single out Saudi Arabia for criticism, b’cos… 9/11. While that was fair, she totally glossed over other atrocities by muslims elsewhere in the region, whether it was Iran, Afghanistan, Egypt, Turkey,…. I haven’t been following her boss’s EOs, but did President Trump re-enact the Travel ban that he had 5 years ago? If he did, she should take that list, and update it. In particular, add Bangladesh to that list of countries whose citizens may not come to the US, as well as some other muslim countries previously not on the list – Turkey, Qatar, Kuwait, Egypt, Jordan

In my opinion, until the word “radical” is recognized, as inapplicable to STANDARD, ORTHODOX, NORMAL ISLAM, there is little or no hope that decisions will be made to act as required to postpone its world conquest.
Many are obsessed with time. Islam is not. They fought to conquer Byzantium/Constantinople from about 623 to 1453, never changing their goal. In the current West, if a war takes longer than a few days, we look for a “negotiated settlement”. What negotiated settlement was available with Germany or Japan? Islam is far more savage than those regimes. But our leaders never miss an opportunity to promote the “religion of peace” lie. Read and learn for yourself what Islam intends for us.
