Former USAID Official Liz Cheney Rips Elon Musk for Being a… Foreigner

The rocks are being lifted up in Washington, and all manner of creepy crawlies are scurrying away from the light. One of them is former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Frame Trump), who was, as it turns out, a USAID official in in Poland, Hungary, Russia and (you knew this was coming) Ukraine. Cheney just had a testy exchange with Elon Musk that revealed that the uniparty political establishment, for all its professed compassion for migrants, is really quite contemptuous of non-Americans. Apparently an immigrant would have to be illegal and unemployed to get some kindness from Liz Cheney.

It all started when Mike Benz, executive director of the Foundation for Freedom Online, noted Cheney’s USAID connections. On Tuesday, he wrote: “Liz Cheney, who led Trump’s impeachment and the mass imprisonment campaign against thousands of Trump supporters, was spawned out of USAID.” He linked to an X post from Dec. 24, 2024 in which he provided evidence that Cheney had worked at USAID for Richard Armitage, who was deputy security of state during George W. Bush’s first term. Cheney, according to Benz’s source, worked at the State Department on “democracy promotion.”

Given what we have now learned about USAID, this raises all sorts of red flags about Cheney, and Elon Musk noticed. He responded to Benz’s post with one word: “Interesting.”

And it was, but that was enough to set touchy ol’ Liz Cheney off. “Damn right, @Elon,” she wrote. “I’m proud of what America did to win the Cold War, defeat Soviet communism, and defend democracy. Our nation stood for freedom. You may be unfamiliar with that part of our history since you weren’t yet an American citizen.” Wait a minute, Liz. We thought Orange Man was Bad precisely because he didn’t want to welcome everyone in the world and put them on our welfare rolls. And now you’re throwing shade at Elon Musk for not being born in the United States?

Former Georgia state Rep. Vernon Jones fired back at Cheney with an accusation: “You care more about illegals coming to this country stealing from this country than @elon giving to this country.” Sure looked that way.

Cheney’s sneering at Musk for not being an American just didn’t make any sense, at least apart from the fact that the political establishment claims to be the embodiment of compassion, but actually has nothing but contempt for the American people. The recent revelations about USAID confirm that in spades by showing that taxpayer money that was supposed to go to the poor and needy of the world was actually lining the pockets of “journalists” at AP, Politico, the New York Times and elsewhere, so as to ensure that the American people were thoroughly saturated with the establishment line. And that was, of course, by no means all that USAID has been up to.

  1. The problem is much deeper than Liz Cheney. So many others are culpable as well in being OK with, and promoting, an ever expanding, arrogant, wasteful, corrupt and even at times tyrannical government.

    People I used to admire like Bush 43 and Dick Cheney are now more or less rogues in my mind. Yes indeed, the Uniparty and the Deep State are quite entrenched and why they are reacting so hysterically against Trump who is trying to restore what the Founding Fathers established, i.e., limited government with an emphasis on citizens and not government, on individual freedom and not the herd instinct.

    I expect this betrayal of what the Founding Fathers created from the Democratic Party, the single greatest enemy of America bar none in our time, but when Republicans aplenty like the Bushes and the Cheneys—the McConnells and Murkowskis too—contribute to this betrayal, one has to wonder if the American Republic can survive. I think it can, and thank God Trump is at the helm who “gets” all this, but it’s going to be a close call. A very close call.

    And not only America is at risk here if Trump fails, the entire world is because as America goes, so goes the world since there has never been a single polity in man’s history so vital to the continuation of the best of humanity as has been the USA and one by now knows this or should know this.

What would happen if someone in the Trump administration said that about a very loud, little “brown” Islamic woman who immigrated from Africa ,under a false name marry her brother and became a congresswomen representing a part of Minnesota in the house? The MSM would a a field day calling the Trump administration official ,anti-Islamic ,anti-women ,anti-immigrant. A white guy who came from Africa legally ,built a business from the ground up made billions legally start his own space program ,has a team of young genus working for him is not an American??Trump administration how dare they look at how taxpayers money is spend on god knows what on projects that seem not to profit Americas interest ,who might profit? Well connect people who are elected to be congressmen and Senators also how members of their families might be feeding at that same open pork barrel unchecked for decades?   4. Is that a photo of her after Trump won the election or has she always looked that miserable. What an unhappy and bitter looking critter she appears to be. Maybe her head explode one day soon as Trump continues to change things while in power.

    • Tim, I have never seen her look better. the closest to a smile was when she was on stage with harris some months ago. she might have perked up if Mr. Trump had been sentenced to prison.

      • Thanks for that information, somehistory. I don’t think I have seen her before though I might seen a brief shot of her on tv news. I recall dick Cheney from years ago and have a vague memory of what used to look like. There must a lot lefties these days in the USA who are looking as miserable as she does as Trump sets about demolishing the old woke garbage. I hope you are going well and that your part Australian dog is going well. I am moving into my 2 bedroom unit in the retirement village. It is in perfect order which is the main thing I was after. My old 3 bedroom house was a bit of a dump and, at 75 years old I was too weary to put up with the crap, plumbing, guttering,etc that kept going wrong. It is hot and humid here today.

        • thank you, Tim. I once thought her father was an okay guy, but it seems much of him was hidden from the public and I knew nothing of her before a few years ago. She has always looked sour in every pic.

          The doggie is doing fine. She keeps showing us how very intelligent she is. Still digs a hole now and then. I went out today to fill in the latest, and she thought I was out to play with her, so she ran circles around me, going in various directions.

          I’m happy for you that you have a nice new place to call home. Old homes…and even new…can be a lot of work to keep in order. Expensive too. Entropy is hard to fight.
          It was nice today, but windy. Not too cold, but supposed to cool down next week. Temps here go up and down, like a see-saw..or.roller coaster.

        • You sound as though you are going quite well, somehistory. The dog sounds as though it provides plenty of fun. I think things go well for me in my new home. As I have mentioned before this area where I have been living for 3 months or so is paradise for dogs. It is near a river and with big areas of parkland and many of the people around have dogs, every type of dog, and they treat their dogs extremely well. It is good to see.

          and the dog gives us a lot of fun, laughs and affection. She’s very protective of us and the property.
          One night recently, around midnight, she woke us with loud barking at the front door. Looking out, we couldn’t see any reason; she calmed down and we all went back to sleep.
          the next morning, my daughter found someone’s food order on our porch.
          We feel pretty sure no one is going to come right in.

          I’m happy to hear that your new place is so right for you. and glad that people there are taking care of their dogs. Not all people are good at that.

  5. The way it works: they claim that they care about the poor homeless, sickly, elderly, very young and vulnerable. And they make a claim on taxpayer’s money, supposedly so they can help the poor, homeless, sickly, elderly, and very young and vulerable.

    This is like the guy at the fair who wears a straw hat, waves a cane and promises “thrills and chills” as onlookers wonder what is behind the curtain, inside the tent. So, they hand over their money and later find out just what was actually behind the curtain.
    The money doesn’t buy any thrills and chills.

    And the so-called “aid” didn’t help that many of the vulnerable as much as it lined the pockets of the women like cheney and the men who worked the shills.

    There was a news item today about the yelling going on regarding the “chaos” and other really *scary* things going on because the spigot has been turned off.

    If Mr. Musk had sneaked across the border, stole from some lady, raped another and then said he didn’t speak any English, cheney wouldn’t have a bad word to say about him..

    • An interesting fact: Scientists investigated where the other lizzy did her whacking, found blood stains and were able to do DNA testing. They identified her parents as those whose blood they tested. It had been there more than one hundred years.

  9. She seems to be another privileged child like Hunter Biden: the only reason she got that job in USAID was that she was a daughter of a former Defense Secretary and Vice President. In fact, she got that USAID job exactly when her father became defense secretary under President George HW Bush

    Otherwise, I fail to see what qualifications she brought to the job. In other words, in addition to all the subversive and perversive work that USAID was doing in other countries, it was also a grifting platform for the children of the elitists to start earning a living, if they had few other salable talents

    One more thing: her father, before he became defense secretary, was among those who pressured South Africa to release Nelson Mandela. As an ANC led country, South Africa has become another Zimbabwe, but she has no criticism about that. Her only criticism is on Musk being a South African White, a population that is a target of a genocide by the ANC. Very fitting for a clan that loved enriching themselves and the country by promoting war, while doing nothing about the underlying problems beneath it, such as islam. We had such high hopes for W as he appeared to be a very admirable governor of Texas, but once in the Oval Office Daddy Cheney got into his head and W became just another RINO. Basically a good and decent man, but not of benefit to the United States in the long run.
