The opening song was great, unlike most Hatun music (sorry!)… I liked the idea of Robert singing, but if they do, they should have Robert (or David) singing as Muhammad, and Hatun singing as Aisha
So they’ve started on the chapter titled “Women”. The idea that giving a chapter a certain title is honoring the subject is laughable, as Robert pointed out, since there is also a chapter called “The Infidel”, in addition to the one about hypocrites
The idea that just b’cos allah created both men and women, that both are equal is hilarious: no wonder any imam would laugh at it if approached w/ that argument. I can make a house out of legos, as well as assemble a computer from its various parts. That doesn’t mean that the computer is the same as a lego house
They ended w/ an indepth discussion on polygamy and sex slavery. I might have respected them more had they simply placed no limits on the polygamy part, but outlawed sex slavery. Or decreed that any fornication automatically resulted in a marriage, rather than treat women as toilet paper to be discarded once used
I look forward to Hatun in a hijab next week 😈
