This will not be widely reported in the West. It doesn’t fit the establishment media’s preferred narrative of Muslims as brown victims and Christians as white oppressors. The establishment media, as well as the entire political class in the West, is also determined to ignore the reality of Islamic teaching. If Christians had beheaded 70 Muslims in a mosque, which they would not do and should not do, you’d never hear the end of it. But this? Nothing.

Christians in DRC have again been left reeling after a heinous act of violence that has left 70 believers dead. Please pray for our brothers and sisters in the country as they face escalating persecution.
Seventy Christians have been found beheaded in a church in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), in what’s the latest devastating attack on believers in the north east of the country.
According to field sources, at around 4am last Thursday (13 February) suspected militants from the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) – a group with ties to so-called Islamic State (IS) – approached homes in Mayba in the territory of Lubero, saying: “Get out, get out and don’t make any noise.” Twenty Christian men and women came out and were captured.
Shaken by this incident, people from the local community in Mayba later gathered to work out how to release those held captive. However, ADF militants surrounded the village and captured a further 50 believers.
All 70 of those kidnapped were taken to a Protestant church in Kasanga where they were tragically killed.
Muhindo Musunzi, director of the Kombo primary school [which belongs to the CECA20 church], says that prior to this incident, churches, schools and health centres had all shut their doors because of the chaotic security situation. “We had to move all activities towards Vunying,” he said.
Field sources report that, until yesterday (Tuesday 18 February), some families had not been able to bury their dead because of insecurity in the area. Many Christians have now fled the area for their safety….

One thing that strikes me about Congo (which I prefer to think of as Zaire, in order to distinguish it from the other country north of it w/ the same name) is how weak that country is. Rwanda has been supporting a rebel militia against the Kinshasha regime, and they have taken a city near their border. One would have thought a country as big as the DRC would easily squelch Rwanda like a bug. Their population is 111 million: it’s not an empty country like Saudi Arabia or Libya
Given all these factoids about Congo, it’s not surprised that jihadists can operate w/ impunity in that huge country, and nothing happens. It also explains why it is a country that puts in one of the largest number of illegal migrants into the US

He’s had 2000 years to personally intervene in, to prevent, human suffering and has not–as the beheadings of those 70 human beings crying for the Christian god to save them attests.

Were it the other way around (and it never will be), the Western media would be in hysterics and which is dispositive of just how awful, truly awful, the Western media has become.
There are many enemies of Western democracy (N.B., only Western Civilization developed democracy; no other major society or civilization did), but right up there at the top of the list is the Western media which has benefitted extensively by yet another Western achievement (others being the development of the scientific method, the greatest technological innovations, the development of women’s rights and the capacity like no other major society or civilization to apologize for past wrongdoings) but all the while remaining insouciantly ignorant, utterly clueless, how fortunate they are PRECISELY because of the one civilization they continue to excoriate while making excuses for all the lesser civilizations.

Reporting these violet attacks by islamic followers doesn’t fit the narrative of the media that ISLAM is a religion of love and peace. Islam loves to kill and disrupt the peace. Violence is islam’s answer to everything.
