NO WAY! The Dizzle and the Kafir King, together again! Can’t wait.

I really hope so, there was never any question in my mind.
Mohammad’s existence is a good starting point for the depravity and evil of Islam. I do not think the evil was added piecemeal since their is a measure of consistency through out it’s evil existence.

David and Robert, your comments were very reassuring.

Well, Mohammed was known to beat up a wife, Aisha, so was there a police report of the assault? That might prove his existence.

Just finished watching the debate. Both of you were great, w/ David entertaining as usual. However, as far as the substance goes, I remain convinced that Muhammad never existed, and that islamic theology evolved over 6 centuries from the 8th to the 15th. Oh, and the “Gates of Ijtehad” narrative of why islam cannot be reformed was a total piece of fiction
I think that the next step in this investigation should be when and how islamic theology evolved under the Abbasids, Ghaznavids, Seljuqs and Timurides

Best guess is that the Ottomans under the Ottoman Empire in the 19th and early 20th century fabricated its history and formed it into its modern form.

David Wood claims that the story of the Jewish woman causing Mohamed’s death by poisoning his food makes Mo
look like a fool. But surely the story is a slur on his Jewish enemies with an added curse on women. Antisemitic and misogynistic.
In any case, the idea that Mohammed would let some embittered Jewish wife into his inner circle and let her cook for him suggests that this awkward story is just a fiction.
The wife poisoner is one of six anecdotes that David Wood presented to show that such a clown must therefore have been a real person. Robert Spencer negated all six although the references to all those unfamiliar Islamic names makes it an academic sport to keep up with the argument.

The one gap in Robert’s argument, when it came to the Jewish woman who poisoned Muhammad, is why would the Arabs target the Jews, who were a part of their empire, as opposed to the Byzantine Christians? Jews were not a threat to them, but the Byzantines were, and to a lesser extent, the Buddhists in Afghanistan and Hindus in India. If they were putting together a story maligning their enemies, why not malign Christians or Hindus instead of Jews?

Personally, mohamhead was probably nothing more than a mythical construct of the typical male in that time and place. Maybe a person like that existed, but “he” was probably nothing more than a conglomeration of individuals and stories. If someone can prove “he” existed, let me know. Stories aren’t proof.

In case you haven’t heard, Salwan Mokima, the Iraqi Christian turned atheist who sought refuge in Sweden, and burned Korans because he saw firsthand what Islam was all about, was shot and killed, and since no one was brave enough to claim his body, it was cremated. Is there anyway the jihad watch community could petition for his ashes to be brought to the United States and he be given a decent burial?
Does anyone have any political connections to make this happen?
